There's happy hour (half off appetizers and discount beer and wine) which were not applicable with the coupon, but we still got discounted drinks. We ordered the panang curry (a bolder version of the red curry) which was delicious! It's their strongest curry base so from level 1-3, we just got a 2. The green curry was also good but a little bit more on the watery side in terms of texture, but it was full of flavor. I'm glad we got to try this place during our visit to Seattle. We've ordered take out due to covid, we got chicken house fried rice and lamb panang. Both the dishes were delicious, and I'm particularly impressed with how tender and well cooked the lamb was. We've ordered a spice level of 4, it was on spot. It was the unique atmosphere that drew me in as I had already passed up a few Asian restaurants on my way to the Space Needle. I spotted the giant periodic table element sign of Ti22 walking by and had to have a closer peek. Sometimes a place just looks cool, and you gotta stop in. That's what happened on my recent Seattle trip. I just wanted a quick meal, but ended up really enjoyed the trendy cafe-like vibe and urban decor here. They were playing American standards and jazz for the mid-20th Century which made the dining experience very welcoming. The food itself -- I ordered chicken pad thai -- was perfect. I learned Ti22 definitely caters to vegetarians first, because when I ordered the server told me they usually omit Thai fish sauce for the vegetarians but asked if I wanted it in my dish, which I agreed to. The omission of the fish sauce makes the dish extra sweet, so adding it back in balances it out. The dish was saucy, almost slimy, but the flavors were perfect and portion big and tasted fresh, and for only $9. There is probably more authentic Thai food somewhere else in Seattle, and maybe even in Belltown, but I really like the environment they've created here that makes you feel like you're dining in a hip big city. read more

On the surface, this restaurant looks very promising. Cute decor and good location makes it one perfect Thai-date night restaurant. Unfortunately, that's as far as this place goes. We ordered one appetizer and two main entrees and all three were an utter disappointment. The taro fritter were bland and stale as if they fried it two days ago and reheated it up in the microwave. The pad se ew and crab fried rice reeked of an odor to the point where I could not eat it. Granted crab fried rice should have a hint of seafood smell, but the odor on this dish was extremely strong. However, they did do one thing correctly, which was my Thai ice tea. Too much cream, but it was heavenly . This restaurant was on point. The interior decor was really nice and different. It had a very modern artsy feel to it. Very inviting. The customer service was great! The server was super nice and fast. And the food, so delicious. We ordered the garlic and pepper wings for starters (which were bomb, btw!). Tender and crispy to perfection! For our main entrees, we got panang curry (based on the server's recommendation) and pad khee Mao (based on yelp recommendations). They were both amazing and tasted like authentic Thai food. This restaurant is all smoke and mirrors. Great location, clean restaurant, cute decor are the only positives I can vouch for. I've come here 3 times and have been thoroughly disappointed each time. The first time was in April 2013 when it was still known as the Fish Cake Factory. I ordered their pad thai, pad see ew, and the fish cake sampler platter. The pad thai noodles were overcooked giving a mushy, soggy texture covered in a sickeningly sweet sauce, it looked like phlegm from a hock a loogie and tasted just as bad. A Thai restaurant that can't make pad thai shouldn't call itself a Thai restaurant. The pad see ew wasn't any better. It was soaked in oil and left a greasy film in my mouth, I couldn't eat anymore after one bite. To call themselves a Fish Cake Factory was a joke since their fish cakes were cold in the middle and had bits of bone and shells laced throughout. Needless to say, the food ended up in the garbage. The next time I went to the restaurant in September 2014 it had rebranded to Ti22. Upon entering the restaurant, I was followed by a homeless man asking for money. When I told him I didn't carry cash he refused to leave and began to harass me. The useless staff stood behind the counter watching and disappeared into the back of the restaurant. After the homeless guy left, it took them 10 minutes to get me a menu and another 10 minutes to place my order. I should've left and gave the money I was going to spend to the homeless man. I made the mistake of ordering the pad thai and pad see ew again and ended up throwing them in the garbage. Decided to give this restaurant another shot last week since I didn't feel like walking too far from my apartment. For a restaurant to be empty on a Friday evening at 7 near a popular bar district should've been a red flag. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I ordered the chicken wings, lard na (special) and honey sesame beef. Chicken wings had a nice fry to them and were coated in a sweet tangy fish sauce, it was good but not impressive. The rest of the dishes were reminiscent of my previous visits to this establishment. The beef had good flavor but since the pieces were cut unevenly there were pockets of raw starch coating the larger pieces. If there's anything I can't stand in fried food it's raw starch. It left my mouth coated in a powdery grease; very unpleasant. The lard na was just a sour version of their pad thai: soggy, mushy, and greasy. Not sure if the gravy saturating the mushy noodles were suppose to taste sour or not but like it's predecessors, the beef and lard na found their burial sites in the garbage. Service here is absolute crap. We walked into an empty restaurant and stood at the doorway for 5 minutes before being greeted. Upon being seated, the waitress made no effort whatsoever to be friendly or interested in what she was doing and kept yawning. There was no eye contact, smile, nor even friendly gestures. After taking our order, she disappeared for the rest of the evening, eventually it took 15 minutes to get another waiter to get my bill and another 10 minutes to get my card back. Terribly frustrating since there were no other customers in the restaurant. I'm not sure not how this place has managed to stay in business for as long as they have given their terrible food and service. This is a sub par restaurant that should close its doors. You're better off bringing your business elsewhere, there are many Thai options available, with Golden Singha and Belltown Thai a couple blocks away. read more

We have been loyal to this Thai restaurant since they opened several years ago and have proclaimed it our favorite Thai restaurant in Seattle to many people. However, I think we might have to give up on it now. It has changed hands many times, the service has always been very unpredictable and mostly inattentive, and lately the food has taken a turn for the worse. We used to know the head chef but haven't seen him there for a while. Sometimes they are closed on Sundays and sometimes they are closed on Saturdays, you never know. The last time we ordered pick up from Bite Squad and were very unimpressed with the food. There was no spice to either of our meals and the flavor of the entire dish was lacking. We always order pad kee mao and have many orders to base this impression off of. They incorrectly gave my husband 0 stars for his meal so he was dousing his dish with sriracha at home. The tomatoes were so pink they were almost white and the chicken had zero flavor. We are sad that one of our favorite Thai restaurants in the city (in a city of many Thai restaurants) we might never go to again. There is always the same manager and server here when I go. They are both very attentive and nice. I think their food is good, though having been to Thailand, it doesn't taste vey authentic. I think it must be to cater to American tastes. It's still good food. I've tried the bbq short ribs, which I liked but my friend did not. It comes with some chili sauce. I've also tried the Panang curry and the pad Thai. The pad Thai comes in a very general serving. It was two meals for me. The Panang curry is also big enough to be split, which is what my friend and I did. The price range is a bit high for what I'm used to for Thai food, but it must be for the location and atmosphere. Back here again for another lunch. This time I tried the salmon curry from the lunch menu. The curry comes as a 2-star on the spice level, but I ordered mine with a 4. The salmon was a pretty decent size and not dry. The spice level delivered, indeed! I didn't mention this in my previous review but have noticed this again during my second visit. The food was not hot in temperature. Both times I've been here, the food is just...sorta warm. I thought it was just me, but two others who were with me also agreed. Ti22 is absolutely delicious and one of my go-to spots for lunch and dinner! From the Traditional Chicken Pad Thai, to their yummy curries (Red, being a definite favorite) I always leave satisfied. The portion sizes are more than enough and the prices are reasonable so everyone can get their favorite dish without breaking the bank. The owners and employees are so kind as well and provide really quick service so be sure to check this place out if you're in Belltown! They also have the option to order to-go right now so if you're looking to support local, its worth the trip. Quick tip: Their spice levels range from 1-5. I love spicy foods and typically go for 3 and add in chilis to get the desired heat I am looking for. So if you want something a little more mild I would suggest staying in the 1-2 range. read more

It been a while since I visited Ti22, decided to go here for dinner after my run. Ordered: Chicken Satay (three huge satay but flavor was a bit off), Chicken Dumplings ( came with six but I could definitely eat a dozen of these), Prawn Pad Thai (portions was smaller than most Thai restaurant due to containers size maybe, delicious), Tofu Yellow Curry (flavors was solid). I first tried Ti22 because of its proximity to where I live. Since then, this restaurant has become my go-to for Thai takeout. Without fail, every order I made there has been mouthwateringly delicious. I like their green and red curries in particular, as well as their pad thais. The portions are consistently generous to boot. Service and speed (for pick-up) have always been top-notch, and I never had to wait. It's kinda dangerous having a Thai restaurant below your apartment, no? I'm surprised I haven't gotten take-out from this restaurant every week, given how good this place actually is. The first time I got food here, I was greeted by the loveliest server, Atasha, and I've only gotten great service from this place every time. Some of the folks here recognize me now when I stop by to grab my occasional take-out, which almost always includes their chicken satay, because of THAT SAUCE. Man, that peanut sauce is amazing and can be put on anything including a shoe. It's a little sweet and a lot delicious. My other fave items to get from Ti22 include the pineapple fried rice with chicken and the pra ram noodles. The pineapple fried rice is the right balance of sweet and savory, and the pra ram noodles have that same peanut sauce that I can chug if it wasn't too embarrassing to do so. I've also gotten their Pad Thai - because who doesn't like Pad Thai? - which is always a solid option. Their Pad See Ew is also on point. The service is much better than it used to be (yay!). In the past we had issues with them being super technical about a Groupon, so I haven't been back here much. But, I recently tried them again to give them a second chance. I was once again not impressed. The food here is just too inconsistent. My friend and I were looking for a new Thai restaurant to eat at so he recommended that we come here. We didn't order any of the tapas but there seemed to be a good variety (between $4-$6). I usually resort to getting pad thai or pad see ew when I go to Thai restaurants but wanting to try something new, I decided on trying the curry. Unsure of what each of the curries were and their spice levels, I asked our waiter, IceManager (that's what it says on the receipt), and he kindly gave me brief descriptions of each curry and their spice levels which I found very helpful because I don't eat curry often. I ordered the duck curry and overall it was pretty good. The curry was creamy and the flavor was not masked by the spice. The curry also had pieces of duck meat, tomato, bell peppers and pineapple. The vegetables were cooked but still crisp and the pineapple added a nice sweetness to the curry. One thing I wish the curry had was more duck meat because there was about 4 small pieces and I still felt hungry afterwards. Overall, not a bad place with the dimly lit, almost romantic atmosphere and the food and service was pretty good. read more

My roommate and I tried this place recently and we couldn't have been happier! Brendan was fantastic-- he was wonderful about our dietary restrictions (gluten-free and vegan) and helped us choose something delicious. I rarely find an establishment or waitress that is that conscientious. The cocktails were phenomenal (they make their own, spicy ginger beer!) and the interior was adorable and tastefully done. This is my go-to place whenever I want Thai food. I have tried many things including cashew nut chicken, Hawaiian fried rice, Kung Pao chicken and I love most of the entrees. The service is pretty quick and always great. I also order ahead at times and pick up my favorite cashew nut chicken to-go. They also give me a 10% neighborhood discount. If you check in on Yelp, there is always some offer going on and you can check in that offer and the servers are pretty nice about it. The drinks are good but they can do a better job. First time here and I must say the experience was great! The name fish cake factory never appealed to me. I didn't even know it was Thai food until I read the menu online. Shame on me for judging a book by it's cover because this place has great food. We ordered the Phad See Ew, Hawaiian Fried Rice, and Crab Cakes. Everything was very flavorful. I think my favorite was the Phad See Ew. The Crab Cakes were a good size. I was expecting smaller. You get 3 cakes in 1 order. The Hawaiian Fried Rice wasn't bad, but it tasted like any other pineapple fried rice you'd find at a Thai Restaurant. I think the pricing for the Crab Cakes were a bit high, about $12. The rest of the items seemed to be spot on with what other Thai places charge in the Seattle area. The place is smaller, but it's very cute. I loved the way they decorated it. Large windows so lots of natural light inside, which I love! I don't like dark restaurants. It makes me sleepy and I can't take good pictures of my food without using flash. (First World Problems) The waiter was VERY nice and SUPER helpful! He had a lot of input about what to order, what's popular, and provide a description of the food.
