Used to go to the original Tiger Lily over at 86th and Ditch all the time. Was on this side of town and decided to pop in and the food is just as yummy as i remembered! Traveling for a family funeral used Yelp to find take out to eat back at the hotel. So searched to take out, no specific category and started to read menus. The wife and I both like Korean bbq and the menu hade the staples. So we ordered a beef and a pork bulgogi. Both came with steamed rice. The person in the restaurant was friendly and the only miss was no napkins or silverware in the takeout bag. Fortunately the hotel had some. The food was very solid on taste - great garlic on the beef and good spice level on the pork. The only drawback was size of dish - two entrees will feed at least 3 and should be 4. I ate all of my pork (I shouldn't have but it was delicious) and am now stuffed as I write this. So we have leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow. read more

This is Asian cuisine at its finest from a family owned and operated business. My wife and I absolutely loved this place and highly recommend it to others. Sadly, we have gotten used to average service and average quality in our restaurant choices of late and thus our ratings usually range between 2 and 4 stars. When you dine here, however, you remember what 5 stars is supposed to mean. Manley, our server, is not only exceptionally friendly and welcoming, but also full of good suggestions and attentive to your needs w/o being bothersome. We ate the Bao Bun Chicken, Joy Luck soup, and Crispy Korean Beef and loved every one of these dishes. Everything tastes fresh and is hot when served; the careful presentation speaks to the food's quality. The establishment itself is simply but tastefully decorated and whistle clean. The owners clearly love what they do and they do it exceptionally well. TIP: COVID protocols are in place so dine-in if you can. Tiger Lily 2 has amazing potential! My Wife and I had lunch here yesterday and we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit here. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was really good, flavorful, and authentic, plus the customer service was some of the best that I've ever experienced. Manley and his father ensured that we were well taken care of. Manley's father had so much energy, passion, and love for people and good food that it made us happy just to be in his presence. He even took the time to get to know us a little bit and even remembered towards the end of our visit, my wife's country of origin, El Salvador. Which may not seem like a big deal, but even sometimes our closest relatives and friends forget that detail and mistake it with another country. Seriously, it's the little things like that that make the difference between good and exceptional customer service, and they definitely had exceptional customer service at Tiger Lily 2. The food came out fresh and quickly with quality ingredients and we recieved service with a smile. My wife and i were impressed. Now here's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. On the menu, they offer Korean Fried Chicken. My wife and I were excited to try this because we haven't found a place in Indy that offers this. We moved here from the DC/ Maryland area expecting chicken similar to "Bonchon" or the Chicago restaurant, "Crisp", where they actually serve Korean Fried Chicken Wings. The food tasted great and all, but we weren't expecting boneless pieces of chicken similar to what is found in sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken that is found in most Chinese restaurants. With that being said, I could tell that they really care about the quality of their ingredients and creating relationships with happy customers, so here's my advice if you care to take it, Tiger Lily 2. You have an amazing opportunity here to help your business thrive. There aren't any (that i know of) places in Indy that offer Korean Fried Chicken Wings/ Whole Pieces which means you can really corner that market and help your business absolutely kill it! You definitely have the culinary skills, ambience, and customer service down packed! Just offer this dish, promote/ market the heck out of it, and it will be an absolute game changer! Sorry for the long post, but I really like the owners/ workers there and I want this family owned business to be a huge success. Called the restaurant and the host was very knowledgeable about gluten free options. I got the Japanese fried rice which is gluten free normal but they also have gluten free sauce they can use with their Thai stir fry flat noodle dish (rice noodles). read more

The bulgogi was also tender and delicious. The portion sizes were nice and our waiter was great. The restaurant is clean. They were wiping counters down as we walked in and several times after. We ordered take out for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We do our best to support our local businesses and this is one we will order from again! I ordered the Tiger Lily beef and the broccoli tasted so fresh and the beef was cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the Korean pork eggplant and loved it as well. He loved it so much that he ate it all! He did mention he wished the spice level was higher but next time we order we will just ask for it to be.
