We actually ate here on a whim since we were on our way to ring side cafe and it was closed! It was one of the best last minute decisions we made! I would call myself a ramen expert and Tiger + Lily does it right! We started out with a barrage of home grown beverages and they were all super delicious and mixed perfectly by our bartender Ian. Amanda was our waitress and she was also super attentive. I ended up getting the Tan Tan Turkey ramen and the spicy ground turkey was pretty amazing. I normally get anything Tan Tan because I love spicy ramen and this bowl definitely did not disappoint. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the presentation was pretty fantastic. On my most recent visit, I had the crunchy wings with the Tokyo bang sauce ($9) and the Tom Yum chicken ramen ($12), both of which tasted so good and I would get again. I'm also obsessed with the candy they give with the check and need to figure out where I can buy that stuff in bulk because it's so delicious! They also have a happy hour discount on weeknights. I've passed by this place a dozen times but finally found time and a friend willing to try it with me. I wish I had visited sooner! We arrived about 20 minutes before noon. They do not open the kitchen until noon, but we were still seated and had our drink orders taken. They have everything from Japanese sodas, teas, bubble teas (warm or iced), as well as specialty cocktails. I opted for the Hong Kong Silk tea with boba and warmed. It was pretty good and thankfully not overly sweet. I loved how it comes in a Mason jar which adds to the ambiance. Since it's been chilly, I ordered the vegetable curry ramen. The presentation was so pretty, I had multiple people message me on Snapchat and Instagram about. It also tastes just as good as it looks! Very filling and flavorful with a ton of nutritional ingredients. The ambiance was very comfortable. It's upscale modern Asian and there was some lo-fi music playing in the background. Was greeted right away and it was just myself so they gave me the option of bar seat or a small 2 person table. I opted for the table outside and it was nice to just sit and enjoy the city. Service was prompt and I asked recommendations which she was very helpful on. Went with the beef bowl which she warned me had a spicy to it and it was the perfect amount of spicy. I wanted so much to like this place. We went to celebrate a birthday and try something new. The server was nice, but that's where the good part ends. We started with edamame. Unfortunately, several of the pods were still frozen. I guess they didn't make it into the water? We each ordered ramen-- he had miso vegetable with tofu and I had curry ramen with tofu. Neither of them had much flavor. I wanted to ask for salt (I didn't, but that's weird at a ramen place.) We ordered oreo cake for dessert. It was kind of rubbery. I couldn't be happier about this place opening up on Gay Street! I was thrilled to see that they were having a "soft" opening today and so I grabbed one of my bffs and we strolled to Tiger Lily. I had visited before when it was Zen Cha and I LOVE what they have done with the place. It has a nice sleek look and plenty of great seating options and a nice view of Gay Street. They also have 3 large tvs for that person who wants to know what is going on with the news or wants to watch something while dining. In addition to the great space, they have wonderful service. Everyone was checking on us and making sure we had enough water and that we were enjoying our experience. It is my understanding that in the weeks to come they plan to expand the menu to include cocktails and late night eats and I am certainly going to be back for that! For my meal I ordered the white rice bowl with lemongrass chicken and gomayo sauce. It was the perfect lunch! Everything was super fresh and brightly colored (see my photos) and super delicious! This was the perfect lunch time meal: filling without being heavy. It is so nice to have such a healthy option in the area. My friend ordered their appetizer of fries (I don't know the formal menu name) and it was big enough for his meal and he absolutely loved it! To go, I also ordered the matcha latte and it is so tasty. It is the perfect drink for the warm weather we are having. I cannot wait to come back! I came here for my sisters graduation lunch. This is a beautiful restaurant with wonderful staff! I got the Zombie Drink($9) which was delicious! I also tried the Crispy Dumplings ($7.95) which were great. I had originally ordered the Tom Yum Ramen with the peppers on the side, and no chili oil($12). However, when it came out all the ingredients where in the bowl and it was way too spicy for me to eat. I had asked to change to a Tiger Tail Chicken Bowl($11.95). It was much better and very tasty! I was still charged for the first bowl that I didn't eat, but I didn't mind because the service was so good! Our server was Yoottapichai and he did an amazing job especially for a large party. Definitely a fan of Tiger + Lily! (4.25/5) From the modern, simple decor to Asian fusion themed menu and atmosphere, it was a fun experience. I came in for late lunch and it wasn't too busy. The menu hosts a wide array of selections (not too overwhelmingly, thankfully) that can capture the interest of many appetites. The two things that caught my eyes were their Karaage chicken or Crunchy Wings (bone-in fried chicken wings) and their ramen selection. I ended up choosing the Crunchy Wings and Tiger's Signature Ramen dish. The Crunchy Wings were DE-LI-CIOUS!! Well seasoned, crispy, moist, and amazing flavors! I approve and will definitely get it again or try their Karaage next time! 5+/5 The Signature Ramen dish was solid, but fell a bit short for me. The broth lacked the richness/depth I was hoping for in a bone broth-base. The caramelized chicken chasu was a bit on the chewy/bland side instead of the melt in your mouth, flavorful piece of meat I was imagining. The spicy turkey and noodles however were spot on and I overall enjoyed it, but still was expecting a bit more. Service was spectacular and loved every minute of it! Tiger lily has been a solid place for ramen and other food for some time now. Which is surprising it has taken me so long to leave a review. Their food is solid. I haven't had anything bad or even close to bad here at all yet. Also they have a nicely sized menu with lots of options, whether its Apps, Entrees or Ramen's they have you covered. They also serve other types of noodle dishes other than Ramen as well, but since the growth of the popularity of ramen in America I'm sure that's what most people are looking for. With that being said, ramen is one of my favorite foods. And I'd say that Tiger Lily serves a great bowl. The main one I get is the Tiger Signature w/ Pork Belly + Extra meat + Extra Noodle + Extra Egg, w/ as side of the Chili oil. You can't fail with this combo lol. One subtle thing I love about Tiger Lily is that when you order extra noodles, they give you a bigger bowl. A Lot of restaurants will give you noodles on the side. The problem with that is that the noodles get sticky when they just sit there dry so it's not the same experience when you add them to your bowl in my opinion. But back to the Ramen lol. It has a really great broth. Rich in flavor and that little creaminess you look for. The noodles are not my favorite, however they are really nice and have a great bite. One thing I will say is that the Eggs are by far the best marinated eggs I've had from any ramen shop. Lots of flavor. And the bowl as a whole is visually stunning. You can't go wrong. I love the interior of the restaurant. It gives off a super chill vibe as well as a nice asian theme as well. It's super cozy and a nice place to take a date or just go to relax and eat with a friend or just yourself. You can grab a tea or sake and just enjoy your time. Also it's kind of ducked off or in the cut so you don't have to worry about seeing everyone you know walking past all the time or anything like that. Service is great. Employees are nice and food is out in a timely manner. There is nothing to complain about in this area at all either. Tiger lily isn't a place that I think will blow your socks off. However it can be one of your go to spots in your catalog lol especially if you live close. read more

I was craving soup while visiting downtown Columbus and walked into this place. I would call this a small gem for sure. I wasn't sure what to expect or what to order. I went with the Angus Beef Noodle and it was amazing. They served it very quick and I loved how many ingredients where in the broth. I like everything spicy and was able to ask them to make extra spicy and they did not disappoint. The portion was just enough for me. O and how can I forget it smells amazing in the restaurant. Price is reasonable no complaints I will be moving to Columbus, Ohio in a couple of months and I will be stopping by here alot to try other stuff on the menu. The table and chair was a little small for me but I'm a tall and big guy. I don't imagine many 6-2 250 walking in there door all the time . I asked if we could draw the blind, so she proceeded to pull the blind one over for some reason that did nothing. We ordered the crispy chicken wings with Tokyo seasoning, I think it was the lemongrass rice bowl and firecracker mala ramen. Ramen and bubble tea? Count me in! While at a convention in Columbus, my husband and I were looking for a restaurant in walking distance from the hotel. This gem was only a few blocks away from where we were staying. What I really enjoyed about this restaurant was the modern and diverse menu selection. We both ordered the Tiger Signature Raman bowl. The presentation was straight out of a magazine, and the tasted even better. I really enjoyed their take on a ramen egg. The egg jelly was very creamy and the egg white was sweet and savory!The homemade bone broth was extremely flavorful, and the added chicken "cachu" really took the dish to the next level. I finished my bowl with a snow bowl dessert called "halo halo". I have always wanted to try a snow bowl and this dessert lived up to my expectations. The red and white beans were very sweet and paired well with the sweet yam ice cream. I know that you are thinking: "Beans? Yams? In a dessert?" But you would be surprised! Definitely give it a try, and judge for yourself! My one and only disappointment was learning that the owner only makes their famous 15 layer matcha crepe cake once a month and it sells out instantly! All the Green were very fresh, and the steak had good flavor and was cooked well. The pickled cabbage was a good flavor adder. The portion was relatively good ( not at all bad for the price). I might be a little biased -- being totally honest, I worked at Tiger + Lily to get an insiders scoop. I'm a maniac of a foodie. Their coffees and teas are AMAZING and truly artisan. My boyfriend and I stopped by for an early dinner so the restaurant was empty and we were seated immediately.
