The quality of the boba itself is incredible. They are super fresh, chewy, springy and sweet. They also don't hold back on how much they put in the drink! The only reason I can't get it has five stars major limitations on customization. They have only two or three different flavor choices in total compared to other tea shops that have dozens. Additionally, you are unable to adjust the amount of ice or sugar in your drink. I'm a big fan of going less ice, 50% sugar, but you can't ask for adjustments here. a little disappointed in the service the past couple times that i have gone, when you walk into the store we're not really greeted, and you type your order on the iPad, and when it's ready the guy working at the time just puts the drink on the counter without saying anything which makes it awkward. it's been quite a couple times that they mess up my order and keep putting whole milk instead of oat milk. just feel like service is going down because the drinks used to taste really good here. read more

This was one of their first locations out in LV and it's in a convenient shopping center with easy to find parking on most occasions. I have come here several times before and recently popped in to find that there were no more cashiers taking orders instead we were greeted by a computer. No one said hello or greeted us from those making the drinks. The cost to the boba (#5) is about $6.25, which is a little expensive for me granted 50% of it is filled with ice. On top of the expensive beverage the computer (mind you SELF CHECKOUT) asks you for a tip... this was so awkward since no one even greeted us and I keyed in my order myself. Honestly really wanted to like this place, but there were just so many things that made it really difficult to want to come back. 1. Literally all of their drinks are very similar. You can't change the amount of ice, sugar, milk or cup size. They're set all the same and there are no other additional toppings other than boba and pearl boba. They have a few other tea drinks, but nothing like your typical boba places. 2. It is SMALLLLLL. It is cramped and it is in an area where parking is horrible. Cant blame them on that, but the way they set up their joint really makes it hard to just come in, order and wait for your drinks. They have several of workers in the back and one cashier, but it can be pretty slow considering you guys only have one milk tea flavor lol. 3. Drinks are bland. Again, it's unfortunate when a drink is filled up to the brim with ice. I bought the milk tea with no boba or cream (just the drink itself), within 5 sips, it was all gone. My boyfriend's drink tasted watered down. It looks good! Don't get me wrong, but there's no flavor. Not gonna lie, was pretty disappointed with my first Tiger Sugar experience. As a self proclaimed boba connoisseur, I'm extremely familiar with all the popular spots in California despite not having had many of them. Tiger Sugar is one of these spots that I've looked forward to for so long as a Washingtonian. This experience, though, made me very indifferent and I wouldn't be interested in one closer to Seattle. It's not bad or anything, just simply an average brown sugar milk tea. I'll start by clarifying "boba" is large tapioca and "pearls" are mini boba. This was something confusing to my group but I found out through other reviews. I also noticed the employees measure the ice in each cup, so they are definitely consistent. That's a positive (little variance between visits). Anyway, you come here expecting to order brown sugar drinks as that's the namesake and specialty. With that in mind, I knew to expect the milk with sugar, but wanted to discover what made Tiger Sugar so popular. I've yet to understand. Don't come here expecting to try standard teas or milk teas as this isn't the focal point. I personally opted for the #5, tiger sugar with boba and pearls as it seemed popular with customers in front of me and gave me an opportunity to try both toppings. It's not overly sweet after shaking, which is a good thing for me. However, again, nothing differentiates this from other brown sugar milk teas. Boba is chewy, sweet, and soft, but not like a mochi texture (i.e. the brown sugar at The Alley). $6 for a smaller sized cup is also unappealing. One of my favorite treats in Chinatown! I absolutely love getting a coffee here when I'm nearby. I usually get the C-1 with oat milk - I think it's a brown sugar coffee with boba. The service is fast and I've always found them to be friendly and patient, especially when it comes to explaining their menu. Tiger Sugar is located in a small strip mall in Chinatown, but has plenty of parking. The store is quite small, but you're in and out so fast, it almost doesn't matter. I have always been keen to give people the benefit of the doubt: whether they are having a bad day, or they have things going on at home. However this girl cashier in particular is simply bitter. Soft spoken, extremely rude, would never make eye contact when taking, and the worst, would slam your drink and straw on the counter. This location is located in a small shopping center with difficult parking. I only thought to come here because there's always a long long. The place is smaller than it looks on the inside. It looks like it's designed to fit 6 people in side and intended to just order and go. There's no where to sit. You can order through a person, online ahead of a tablet. The Taiwanese boba tea shop known as "Tiger Sugar" is one of the more popular places to grab a drinkable dessert in Las Vegas. If you ask me, sounds pretty exotic for a boba drink! What makes it unique is the combination of fresh milk, cream mousse, and tiger-striped walls, created by drizzling their proprietary brown sugar syrup. My favorite is #5! The drink is silky and creamy with a slight bitterness from the brown sugar syrup. It's almost like drinking a Creme brûlée dessert. The only downside is the cup is petite-sized. But then again, that's probably a good thing since we don't need to be gaining any more weight during this pandemic! How lucky are we? They only have one level of sugar, and it's sure pretty fierce. Tiger Sugar is a bubble tea shop from Taiwan that is slowly winding its way into the United States. They showed up just before COVID-19 shut things down, and that's my excuse (and I'm sticking to it) for not visiting them until now. Plus, it was too easy when I was already in this hellhole of a parking lot for lunch. They pretty much only have one milk tea with various customizations, which is fine because one of my friends highly recommended it as the closest thing he'd experienced to, for lack of a better term, the authentic stuff in Taiwan. While researching the menu, I also found out that they have the small boba which you can suck through a normal-sized straw, which they call pearls. Things were looking up. Thus, I ordered Black Sugar Pearl Milk tea ($5.50), which they number off as 7 on the menu posted at the register. They use only fresh milk here and they only provide one option of cup, one level of ice, and one amount of sweetness. With the intense customization available at competitors, I was a bit disappointed. That said, my milk tea was pretty delicious. The flavor of the black sugar syrup made my drink quite distinct from any other milk tea which I've had though, and I didn't find it overpoweringly sweet. Now that I've gotten the praise out of the way, here's my list of issues. First, the dang syrup sinks, and that makes it super difficult to calibrate the right ratio of syrup to milk in every sip. My experience started quite sweet and ended as mostly milk. Also, the pearls were simply too soft, even when enjoyed fresh from purchase. On top of that, they don't even provide the normal straws, just the standard / oversized boba straws. Finally, I find the whole price thing a bit off-putting, especially compared to the costs of equivalent (small, 16 oz) sizes at other milk tea joints. Since we're still dealing with a pandemic, they still require masks, and they ask that only four customers be present in the store simultaneously. I had to pause briefly for some other customers to clear out during my visit. They also don't have seats at all right now, and it's a really small space anyway, so this can't really be a hangout spot. Tiger Sugar has a lot of potential, but flawed execution and premium pricing dissuade me from being any sort of regular. I do suggest trying it once if you're remotely a fan of milk tea, and I'll be sure to swing by if I'm in the area for food or Asian supermarkets. read more

Really excited that they've opened a Tiger Sugar in Las Vegas! The first time I had it was around the time they opened (before the pandemic closes down Vegas stores) and it was delicious! We also have tried those boba ice cream bars and they taste just like it! The OG tiger sugar drink with the brown sugar boba and milk is super creamy and delicious. I thought I'd hate it's sweetness, but after mixing well, it wasn't overly sweet :) (this time we got boba with milk and their new coffee tiger jelly, which really helped cut the sweetness! Highly recommend!) This time around during the covid times, they're doing fairly well with accepting customers. They do not do delivery and you cannot call for takeout, but they do allow you to wait in a line (most people know to be 6 ft apart) and there is a sign outside showing people where to start the line. Unfortunately, there's not much direction other than that. We were lucky that people ahead of us saw what to do, and we just followed suit (pretty much, one person goes inside to order, then when they leave, you go inside to order. They give you your receipt and tell you to wait outside. There is a large number screen inside that you can see from the outside, which indicates that your order is ready and to come back inside to pick it up). Something they need to work on in times of covid- either put a door stop, or provide some type of napkin for people to open the door from the outside. Everyone's touching the same door handle going in and out. And because of this, many of us were using our receipts or shirts to open the door. PS. I rarely get addicted to boba tea. Tiger Sugar must put crack in their drinks because I get mad cravings especially for their PEARL milk tea. They're the tiny boba. They're a tad bit softer than the regular boba and they're easier to suck. Their menu is not crazy busy. Milk tea or black tea or green tea + pearl or boba + with or without mousse. No Thai tea, no Oreo, no strawberry banana...none of that. They put that black sugar voodoo magic around the inside of the cup, then the boba/ pearl, and the milk that gives the drink its tiger stripes. For my fellow lactose intolerant peeps: they only use regular milk. If you must come here, make it your last stop before going home. The place is very small.
