First time here ordered to go, obviously cause of covid. AMAZING. The food is spicy but the perfect amount of spice. Not greasy at all. We order 3 sides and my husband got the chicken 65. The cauliflower is mind blowing. Every single bite was consistent in texture and taste. Nothing was over fried. The samosas are gluten free and so good, I wish I would have ordered more. The review here is for the service. Idk what happened or if your having a bad day but I called today to ask a quick question. I'm feeling sick and not well today, so I'm trying to order food for delivery and I called to ask my simple question and an Indian lady picks up. I don't know her name. So I ask her if I order the chicken 65 on door dash that is it the same as the chicken biryani that you have on your yelp menu? If not it's fine I'll just add some rice to make it a full meal but instead. She responds promptly with, "we don't have biryani, bye!! " And hangs up on me.. I work in the restaurant industry and there's no exception for this kind of service. This lady was downright rude for NO reason. Horrible service and will never order from here. I'm bummed because this place has got amazing reviews for their food. Whatever. There's plenty of places to spend my money at I'd like to add that I also don't like to use 3rd party services and never do, I despise them to be honest and I understand if you don't like them either as a food worker. Our food was so great! We are new to Poway and have a great affinity for Indian and Thai food. It was a great find. Not only did we get a free drink for Yelp check in our lunch specials came with drinks. The Garlic as well as Butter Naan was great. We will be frequenting often. I'm a butter chicken no spice at all lover no matter where I go and it didn't disappoint. My husband tries something different every time at Spicy 10! He got a specialty dish and he loved it as well. I really like spicy food and usually get things 10/10 spice to see if I can get something very spicy! It has a decent spice level and the flavors are so complex, layered, and great. strange ...on some days you get really good tasty food and occasionally you get greasy/unbearably spicy food. i dont know if they have different chefs, resulting in different food preparation. we last went on a sunday early afternoon for the buffet. loved the veggie samosas. they were crisp on the outaide and fluffy and tender on the inside. if you are feeling a bit adventurous, the goat curry was awesome and good flavor. beware that there are bones, connective tissue and ligaments. it is a dish where you need to suck and spit out bone with meet. otherwise the butter chicken is very popular here. a little spicy but not too much and the meat is tender and flavorful. i enjoyed the chicken curry. it is spicier than the butter chicken. both are tender and flavorful.. there were several other meat and veggie options available, all of which were good. we come back often. we wish there were more non-spicy, kid friendly options. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile! I finally came around to it and ordered the 65 chicken level 10 spicy. I love the heat. It tasted really good. I didn't get and tough or chewy pieces which I loved. I was disappointed at the portion size. It was a small box with maybe 12 nugget sized chicken for 11.99. I also ordered the chili and onion salad plus the yogurt sauce. The salad was just red onion and chili for $2. What a scam I could have jus sliced myself when I got home. I probably won't return. Picked up chicken 65 , tandoori chicken and chicken pulao for Weekday afternoon for 30 bucks. Food was not fresh, it looks like reheated days food. How can chicken 65 looks yellow, deep fry it again with some besan. Paid 12 bucks for the tandoori which taste rotten. Bottom line, it all depends when you order food and when the food is made. Post-covid update. I miss the buffets here, but the food is still amazing. Orders through their pickup app go through immediately. I try to order new things, because everything they have is amazing, but I can't help going back to the... Paneer Tikka Masala - oddly I like this better than Chicken Tikka Masala and I'm not vegetarian? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Chana Masala - chickpeas in a tomato-onion sauce with tamarind. Mmm, do I love tamarind? Idk, I think so. Cucumber Raita - I wish they sold this by the gallon, honestly. Roasted Papad - this inevitably reminds me of the papadum served while trekking through the Khumbu region in Nepal, but with a much shorter hike to get there. I love this restaurant. I just got back from a two month stay in India and the food here is spot on. I took my grandkids there to try out the food and needless to say, the kids loved the food. This place is our new favorite. Came here for their Saturday dinner buffet. Reasons I love here are: 1. Not too many restaurant let you do dinner buffet on Fridays or weekends but they do! And I like the layout and the family atmosphere. 2. Kids eat free buffet. My daughter is almost 5, they let her eat free! Again, not too many places let you do that. 3. The people there are extremely nice and their service is extraordinary. If you are lucky, they have complimentary new drinks for all customers to try periodically. 4. The buffet quality is great and clean and the selection is wide. Mango lassi, chicken biryani and tikka Masala are the bomb. 5. Unfortunately my 4 year old doesn't eat anything spicy, and they happened to not have her favorite chicken Tikka masala in buffet that night. So I went to order a la carte of chicken Tikka masala for her, the guys at the cashier told me not to worry about that and they apologized for not having the dish that my daughter likes in the buffet. I was so surprised but they insisted to give her a chicken tikka masala on the house. We absolutely love our experience there. Definitely will come back. Keep up the good work guys! :) read more

Biryani is very flavorful, tandoori kabab and curries everything was very good. I think its beacause the meat they are using which is fresh(zabiha Halal). I'm impressed.
