Quaint restaurant with post and beam construction. Very pretty inside. Menu had nice farm to table options. The pork belly appetizer was a large portion, as were the entrees. Service was a bit slow in the beginning but picked up towards the middle of our time there. Spicy rigatoni had good flavor and spice. Prices were fair for the quality and drinks were pretty strong. First time in for dinner. The farm and the space are impressive. The dining room is spacious and beautiful, combining old original wood beams and new. So much more could have been done or done differently. There was a party upstairs, perhaps 30 people. Kitchen is downstairs on opposite side. Food has to be wheeled all the way through the dining room then hand carried up the stairs. The wall with the view has a few small windows. This should have been addressed when they renovated the space to take advantage of the gorgeous location. The wine list is terrible. And to top it off, they don't permit you to bring in a bottle (happy to pay a corkage fee). Food was hit & miss - Penne a la vodka had no prosciutto, a staple in the dish. Baked clams were yummy. Crispy pork belly needed to be crisped. Portions were HUGE, probably a big draw. If you live in the area it's nice for a bite and a beer, but there are better choices around. read more

My wife surprised me by inviting a few friends, my daughter and husband to my birthday brunch. First of all the parking lot was packed like sardines with cars blocking in other cars and nowhere to park. Upon entering the restaurant I asked the hostess where do you park for brunch bc there is absolutely no place to park. Her reply was ask her, pointing to another lady. I left it at that and proceeded to my table. The $39.99 included bottomless mamosas and there was a table set up with assorted cheeses, salad, bagels etc. We began to chat and eat our asst meats and cheeses. The waitress (Calista F ) came over to take our food order and that was the last that we saw of her. I had to ask another server to please bus our table that's been sitting like that for 45 min. We then waited and waited and waited till our food arrived, about an hour after the order was placed. Every single dish was ice cold. I had steak and eggs... the steak was cooked to the right temp but was ice cold along with everything else on the plate. My daughter had the pasta carbonara which resembled something like a custard ! The afternoon was a disaster and I felt so embarrassed bringing family and friends here. I waited for my waitress to come by to check on us but never did. I had to go looking for her. They never filled up or mamosas never checked on us, never bussed our table. Everyone was too busy doing something else ! The noise level was loud and I will NEVER be going back to this establishment ever again ! Good luck to those of you who dare to try this place. By the way... I'm in the hospitality business and this place has no structure, no direction and no management. People need to be TRAINED to deliver excellent customer satisfaction. That's your job ! read more

I went to the January 10, 2025, Comedy Show the Comedians were outstanding! The buffet dinner was terrible! The venue left me cold...literally. It was a cold night and apparently, the place is not well insulated! I was cold the entire evening, as was the food. The Stars are an acknowledgment of the quality of the entertainment otherwise I would not have awarded any stars. The Buffett consisted of Penne pasta (Cold not cool), Dinner rolls (Cold), Salad (no problems), Eggplant Rollatini (Cold and tasteless), Chicken Breast Francese, (Cold, Tasteless), Sausage and Peppers (Cold), Potatoes and String Beans (Didn't try, no review). I have been to a couple of outdoor concerts/shows. I've always enjoyed the entertainment and food trucks. Whoever books the entertainment knows what he/she is doing. I can't say the same for the food preparations. Finally, the food service was poorly planned. There were just two servers and one serving station for what appeared to be in excess of 100 people. The line for the Buffett was long and moved at a snail's pace. I am certain I will not be attending any other indoor shows in the future. read more

Exceptionally bland and uninventive fare. Multiple dishes featuring "balsamic glaze" (always a bad sign for a lazy kitchen). Signature dishes like the short rib were flabby and uninspired. The "Chicken Toscano" was chewy and flavorless despite the unusual addition of green was to the watery, fatty broth. The ambiance was odd too. The cavernous space was echoey and the absence of music made it sound like a bingo hall. We were sorely disappointed by the experience, a date night we had long looked forward to. read more

We met here for a family brunch. We were about 21 people. They gave us a private room. The property is huge. It's set on a farm. Lots of farm animals there. When you walk in, you are greeted by a hostess. There was a nice size bar. We did the Brunch menu. So for $32.95 plus tax and gratuity you got the Farmers Table, which consisted of bagels, mini danishes, salads, fruit, mozzarella and tomatoes. That was a go up as much as you'd like. You also got bottomless mimosas. Then a choice of about 7 meals to chose from. The service was excellent! Food was very good and pretty big portions! Most people got the steak and eggs. Went here for the first time with my mom to attend an event here on Saturday September 7th 2024. This is one of those Farm to table restaurants, which i thought was pretty good. Of course, though, as an event, they may or may not have those foods like pancakes, flounder, eggs, pasta, Caesar salad, potatoes, and drinks like mimosas and bloody Mary's. (i could be wrong though) Anyways, the restaurant has a more rustic farmhouse look, like a countryside look, however, is very pretty, and beautiful on the inside. The restroom was very clean too. Another thing i liked about this event is that one can get up and get their food instead of being served. There were people who were serving us pasta and pancakes, but they just gave us the food, possibly more if we asked. The people helping that were very nice and friendly, one even served me a pancake and stated that they had syrup too. Food was very good, and i even tasted an apple like flavor in the pancakes, which i liked. the pasta was also very good as well.Also liked the Chicken Marsala, where the chicken was tender, and was a nice blend of mushrooms with the marsala sauce Also enjoyed the drinks. A couple we met while we vacationed in Vermont back in '18- gave us an in-depth look and mentioned, they're actually the driving force at Tilly's Foster Farm. It is Putnam County-owned..and not your typical farm. These guys multitask in the farm's ins and outs including tending to the livestock out back. Located in Brewster, Tilly's Table can't get anymore "farm-to-table" in this (restored?) barn-turn-restaurant. Tilly's Buffet Brunch isn't a huge spread- but at $29.95 for Unlimited Mimosas though, it rounds out the deal with nice selections. Here's the rundown...at least two side-by-side tables filled with pasta salads, mixed Greens, roasted Veggies, Lox, Caprese Salad, Mini Muffins and Croissants- plus a few other cold-type dishes. However, there is/are no: omelette station, scrambled eggs, carving station or hot pan items. And aside from the AYCE Buffet, you select your main Brunch item from your table. Trust me- it won't be hard to pick your main dish- because it's a small menu- with something for errbody. Our jaws dropped when our plates were brought over and clueless about the 2 Waffles...in an order. Portions... oh man portions...are ridiculously huge and made me feel like a glutton. My Belgian Waffle came with a bacon side which the server didn't put anywhere on my plate as I requested...Thank you! And also asked for no Whip Cream...Thank you again! Hubs on the other hand, decided on the same order with Whip, bacon and scramble eggs. Those suckers were just too big and left most our Waffles behind. I mean...who eats like this??? But they were nice and fluffy. I passed on the Mimosas but hubs had the best deal and said they were solid! Landscape is a bit unfinished with a lot of lumber and construction tools around. We are definitely disappointed as we ordered a lot of different dishes to try them and I can't even say any one of them were a wow! I can see if there were one bad dish but non of them were impressive! We have been waiting to try this place for a very long time and summer was almost impossible to get in they were so booked! Calamari was the worst I have eaten, old and dry. Pork belly advertised as crispy but it isn't. We did like like the salad as this supposed to be farm to table. Dinner we ordered branzino it was ok and mani tacos was super dry and had to exchange with the burger ans the burger ok! Finally with chocolate layered cake, that was super dry! We were very sad to say to bring my husband there for his birthday celebration to try something new and we can't say we want to come back next time, Cindy was nice to changed out our meal for the burger and she was pleasant. read more

The best way to rate this place is wholistically, because depending on for what you are going will determine your satisfaction. We've gone for comedy shows, dinners, Sunday brunches, and "Breakfast With Santa". Only events we've never tried were concerts. The comedy shows are usually decent. Sometimes the M.C.s are funnier than the mainliners, but I suppose that can happen at any venue. For these events seating is very tight if it is held in the restaurant, and more spacious if you are in the barn. Dinners are buffet style. Not outstanding but adequate enough. Breakfast with Santa (2021) was a lot of fun. Buffet was ok. Plenty of food. Very hard to ruin breakfast. Santa was very good with the kids. We were there today for Sunday Brunch. Food was sub par. Buffet portion consisited of cold bagels. Fruit and muffins were fresh. My wife's pasta carbonara was an oily greasy mess. She left most of it behind. My omlette was decent, but my bacon was burnt. It was probably sitting in its own grease all day. My home fries were colder than the room's temperature. I left those 2 sides on my plate, and enjoyed my egg white omlette, but these meals were not at all worth the $32 per person plus tax and gratuity. Tilly's is fortunate this was not our first visit, otherwise it would have been our last, and this would have been a 1-star review. This place needs to polish up their Sunday brunch, and some of the other services could use some refining, but if you know the place, you will know when to go and enjoy or run away as fast as you can. read more

We were excited to try someplace new after being limited because of covid. It was a perfect night to try Tilly's! We were escorted to a table for two on their deck just in time for the sunset. We ordered a few drinks. My husband ordered a Malbec wine and I got a creamsicle martini. Both delicious. We ordered the lobster bisque for our appetizer, huge portion and delicious! Plenty for 2 people to share. My husband ordered the pork chop and I got the shrimp scampi. Both were generous and delicious. They both came with potatoes and vegetables. We topped off the meal with a tiramisu for dessert! Very good, a little frosty on top though. Only issue we had was a long wait for a bread basket. The lobster bisque was a HUGE bowl with chunks of lobster but didn't have any flavor except being super hot in temperature it was oily and it was like they put extra oil it it from the top 1 bowl is def shareable for two people. The lobster Mac and cheese didn't have flavor and it was sooo hot in temperature we couldn't eat it for a good 20 mins. and the pieces of lobster in it were so tiny not what I was hoping for. The linguini and clams was a huge bowl but not flavorful, it def needed some lemon it was too oily. It was very pretty inside the place that's about it though. Wanted to leave a review about the concert. We have been to Tilly events in the past for a concert and it was a wonderful experience so we decided to bring our family back with us last nite to see the music of Stevie Nicks. For starters, it was advertised that there was free parking, but when we arrived there, they said there was no free parking. Then we noticed that the stage was in a different location. Unfortunately there was a bright light behind the makeshift stage & it made it difficult to look at the singers. There was a terrible glare.. The dancing area was all dirt and uneven grass, so it was difficult to dance. The event was advertised to have food trucks, and there was only one choice for food and previously there were multiple choices for food. I am hopeful that this feedback will help with redesigning events in order to allow for a much more enjoyable experience. The event coordinators will Hopefully do a better job. read more

The wait staff, particularly Steve and George, were helpful, accommodating, and extremely friendly. Four of us for a nice birthday meal. the service was very friendly and engaging. we had a wonderful server, Kayleigh, who was very informed of the menu and answered any of our questions clearly. she helped with wine and menus selections, some were out of stock and she gave us comparable alternatives. Appetizers we had, buratta salad (excellent), clams casino (too small to justify, fair). Dinner was excellent, short ribs (delicious), pork chops (fantastic), and the steak au poivre (like butter, perfectly cooked). portions were plentiful. We have lived in Carmel for about 6 years and have always passed by Tillys but last night was the first time we went for dinner. The inside has a calm and cozy ambiance. The service is fantastic.
