Eh... it's ok. Nothing amazing. Medium sized bagel. Good for take out. Not great for eating in. So many better shops in my humble opinion.

I've had Time For A Bagel bookmarked for quite a while. Yesterday, my wife and I were in the area and had a chance to pick up bagels there for lunch. The store is located on Speedwell Avenue right in the heart of Morris Plains. I ordered a Russian Pumpernickel with butter and my wife had a plain with cream cheese. The bagels were a bit different in that they were smaller and more dense than usual, but they were fine. There's a huge cream cheese selection here. There are tables inside and outside. Plenty of parking in the area. Good spot to pick up bagels if you're in the area.

Everything is always delicious. But Steve's Cole slaw and Health salad stand out as fresh, delicious compliments to his perfect bagels. And the whitefish salad is still the best ever, even bette than Russ and Daughters!

These bagels are good! My friends raved about this place so I had to try when we were in the area. They are not too dense on the inside and have a nice crispness to them. I'm not sure how else to explain. My husband said there was a line. He was chatting with someone and told them it was his first visit. They suggested also getting the Cinnabon and crumb cake. Both were great. Needless to say, I'm glad they're a bit further from our house so we can't visit too frequently. lol

We went to NJ for a real NJ bagel and everyone told us to come here. This place seems authentic to me, it was packed, and the bagels were great. Morris plains was a cute town too. I not only would come back - I will come back tomorrow morning for a bagel and a coffee.

Ordered: Dozen Bagels (Plain, Egg, Everything, Garlic, Blueberry) ($15) A dozen comes with 13 bagels. Although the bagels here were smaller than most bagels, they were still pretty good in terms of flavor and texture. Decently fluffy and slightly chewy. Although the garlic bagels had plenty of garlic, the everything bagels were pretty bare and didn't really have much seasoning on them. Good bagels, but I've had better. Would recommend if you're in the area!

The real hometown hero. Best bagels, I always order a dozen to freeze and bring back home to Philly (where bagels are trash). If you're new, obviously go for the classic THECSPK (Taylor ham, egg, cheese, salt pepper ketchup) on an egg. If they happen to have egg everythings (usually sold out in less than 30 min), do one of those with their lox spread. Also friendliest and most efficient service. No frills, 10$ cash minimum, amazing bagels. It's time.

A friend recommended me to come here on my way to the Newark Airport. I got an everything with lox with every fixing. It was a LOT of lox. The bagel had a nice chew. Say less and go eat bagels :p

So sick and tired of so many deli's skimping on food - TEC - two tiny pieces of Taylor ham and one egg?

Nice drink selection (not pictured: multiple kinds of Tropicana juices and milks)

Good bagels - made on-site throughout the day - but the not always friendly staff dings them down a star.

Are the bagels dairy and soy free?

I would think so but I'm not 100% sure. You could probably call and ask them.

I ordered the Purple Haze drink and it was as delicious as it was beautiful. The Chipotle Steak & Queso Hash was a bit salty for my taste but still good. Very hearty and a decent portion size, I had to box up what I couldn't finish to go. I dined solo and didn't feel awkward or uncomfortable. I sat and read a book for an additional 20 minutes after I was finished. It wasn't very busy and there were plenty of open tables. I might not have stayed as long if it looked like people were waiting but again the server did not rush me or imply I was unwelcome. Also, she noticed I looked a little cold so she told me she asked the manager to turn down the AC. So sweet! Would definitely come here again.

During my most recent visit, I ordered the Goddess salad which was delicious. I am obsessed with the dressing paired with this salad. It was extremely light, creamy, and perfect for summer. The Fried Pickles were also breaded nicely and the Spinach Artichoke Dip was super creamy. There is a decent amount of seating available inside and a few tables for outdoor dining. I also decided to order the chipotle bacon burger this time as my main. It was a tad too salty and lacked the chipotle sauciness for me. The sweet potatoes waffle fries was yummy. Notable mentions are when I asked for barbecue sauce on the side and since there were two kinds, the waitress gave me one of each. I would definitely come back or visit another branch.

Unfortunately, I didn't order a drink because I don't like coffee and the only non-coffee drink they had was Hot Chocolate and unsweetened iced tea. Too hot for hot chocolate and I don't like unsweetened iced tea. The ladies at the counter were very nice though and gave me some tap water! Overall a great experience.
