However paying as much as they charge for a Taylor ham egg and cheese and a drink we should be getting a lot more. The last few times I ordered there are a cpl things annoyed me :1 the single piece of Taylor ham, maybe if I was lucky there were two, 2 they ask you for salt pepper ketchup you say yes, you get home to eat it and there is none, how hard is it to get that right? 3 a cpl times out of my last visits they did not have any of my choice of bagel left, how about when they are getting low you fire up some more, you are a Bagel shop correct? Time for a Bagel is fabulous and I've been eating here for many years. The huge lines (many times out the door on the weekend) are a testament to how loved this business is by the community. Make sure you know what you want a head of time because this is a typical New York style bagel/deli where they try to get your order as quickly as possible. The prices are fair and there is a huge selection of bagels and cream cheeses (as well as other typical deli offerings). If you go in through the back door (from the parking lot) in the morning, you will pass by the bagels being freshly made and it smells intoxicating. I have converted many a family member to the Black Russian Bagel. It's a perfect combination of rye, garlic, and onion. It's SO good and unlike any bagel I've had anywhere else. Small local business that is a quick stop for bagels and coffee. Usually long lines but they move quickly. Very reasonable pricing. When you sit at the tables, sometimes the line builds up and you have people waiting in line by your table when you are trying to eat. First time here. Staff was great. The manager made suggestions as to the best items on the menu. He was lovely and helpful. The nova lox on a bagel with stallion cream cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and capers was wonderful. The bagels are the real deal- chewy not fluffy. Bialys were equally great. Small place with friendly employees and a specialty product. I've always believed that if a business had a niche, they should do one thing well and stick to doing that one thing well. Time for a Bagel follows this philosophy, as they are famous for those doughy rounds. Crusty on the outside and soft on the inside with all kinds of sandwiches, cream cheeses, and toppings. I have only come here for breakfast but I do see they have a lunch menu. Sure the line might scare you on the weekend mornings but believe me, it's worth the wait. Their hand-rolled, premise baked bagels are $.95 each and with a dozen you get a free 13th. Don't be scarred off by the long line, they're are always at least 4 people working and the lines moves fast. Breakfast sandwich, muffins, lunch sandwiches, and sides make TFAB great any time of the day. I'm a huge bagel lover and critic, and am skeptical getting a bagel outside of NY or Bergen County, but I was very pleasantly surprised when we stopped here for breakfast. Good quality bagels. Often busy which can give some hit or miss service. I have often requested no cheese and extra ketchup and received cheese and NO ketchup. I normally wouldn't steer from a Taylor Ham Egg and Cheese sandwich on a Kaiser, but put that on one of these everything bagels and you can experience pork roll nirvana for yourself! I live and work nearby so I'm at TFAB a lot. I love their bagels and the staff is great. However, the owner that is there during the day is just plain rude. He barks orders at the customers and the staff and it's terribly uncomfortable when he's there. He obviously knows what he's doing as far as bagels are concerned because they are always great...but he should reconsider how he treats the people that keep his business alive. They were very unkind to my 70 year old mother who tried to get a bagel yesterday just a few minutes after closing (2pm) and then again this morning to my boyfriend. The time listing is incorrect. When they say they close at 3pm, that is actually completely incorrect. I arrived at 230 and was told they can't make my bagel, because they close at 3... The grill was completely off and everything was completely wrapped up. They had mopped the floors and it smelled heavily of cleaner, including the space under the open bagel bins. DISGUSTING, considering all the cleaner on the floor very likely splashed onto the open bagels. They offered to sell me the bagels subject to the floor cleaner... Done with this place. They do not wear hair nets and there have been countless times where I have found hair in my bagels. GROSS!! They wear baseball caps instead but that is not sanitary. Also the bagels have gotten really small recently but are the same price. read more

Today I ordered two bagel sandwiches, one lox and cream cheese (the person taking my order had no idea what that was) the second chicken salad with tomato on a plain bagel. Got home, the lox order was correct although I saw her asking others on what to use, thats ok maybe new, the other, I got home I had cream cheese with tomato on a bagel, NO CHIX SALAD.
