First time at this fish restaurant that had big outside patio seating and live music. The bartender was nice and helped with providing information on specialty drinks. The draft taps were all inactive for some reasons but lots of cold bottle beers ready to serve. Oysters were being shucked right in front of me while listening to live retro music. The Mahi fingers were good and went well with my drink.

My mother and I had lunch here a few months ago. We were celebrating her birthday and we enjoyed everything. Lobster Bisque and New England Clam Chowder were both excellent. The Hush Puppies (served with honey butter) were a bit overcooked but still very good. The Clam Strips appetizer was the perfect portion for my mother, and she loved them. The chef made me Baked Clams (not on the menu), and they were worth the wait. I decided to order six and I ate them all. They were that good! A nice surprise was the beautifully plated Key Lime Pie they sent out for my mom. I'm not a fan, but their version was scrumptious. Our server was excellent! I forgot his name, but he was very attentive and chatted with my mom, and that made her feel special. Very relaxed vibe, with lots of Fulton New York fish market decor with a few Long Island fishing towns thrown into the mix. Fun atmosphere. Price points are fair for the fresh seafood they serve. I think my six baked clams were eighteen dollars. Fully justified as they are not even on the menu and were loaded with fresh clams and very little filler. If you ask nicely and the restaurant isn't packed, the chef will make you anything as long as they have the ingredients on hand. They have a full bar and are closed on Monday. Prices vary and change based on market costs, which are printed on their menu. Fresh seafood and great service, make this laid-back New York nautical themed restaurant a new favorite.

We went to an early morning breast cancer walk and we're looking for a spot to grab a brunch early. We came across Tin Fish. Our server greeted us as we entered- we were the first people there. To my surprise they had a solid brunch menu. We were a group of 5 and everything-drinks and food- came out quickly to us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had some good 90s tunes in the background playing so we stayed for a while.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server made sure to check on us frequently. I had the regular breakfast which was a good portion size. Everyone enjoyed their meal- I would love to come back to try the conch fritters- they looked good!

I absolutely love this place. The food is insanely amazing! I have been coming here since it opened. The owners are all so friendly and kind. They always walk around and check on everyone. The seafood is always fresh and delicious. I get the tuna poke appetizer as my meal. It is literally my favorite meal of all time. It has a nice refreshing ginger soy balsamic sauce on the field greens and tuna. They make homemade pita chips which come hot and delicious. Today we tried the kaboom shrimp and the drunken mussels as well. Both of which were absolutely incredible. Huge portion of mussels that were so flavorful and tender. The kaboom shrimp was lightly fried and had a very zesty delicious sauce which we enjoyed. My fiancé had the fried grouper sandwich which was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. Everything is always 10/10!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Can't wait to come back soon!

Let's just say that my husband and I haven't been this happy with our meal in a very long time. This place was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We got the ceviche and it came with the best chips, they were addicting. The tacos were so tasty and a great balance of fish and toppings. My husband loved his fish too and stated the vegetables made a great addition. My son didn't leave not one fish nugget. We were all so happy with our dishes. Everyone was extremely attentive and our waitress gave us great recommendations. Tin Fish is one of the best fresh fish spots in town! I've had the ahi tuna, salmon, grouper, and snapper, and all were super fresh tasting and perfectly seasoned. The servers are always friendly and attentive. I also really enjoy their ceviche appetizer and the corn bread they bring out is to die for. Came for lunch with my mom and we both enjoyed it. My mom was in the mood for seafood. It was a first time for us both. I wasn't hungry so only ordered the fish dip. It was good. I also got a fish taco to go. It was fine but I'd skip it next time. My mom got the shrimp and grits which she really enjoyed. The grits were cheesy, creamy, and seasoned well. She also got a salmon taco and really liked it. Is definitely return. Prices are more than what is expect from the area but not outrageous. I also liked that the restaurant did not smell fishy nor did our food. Tells me the seafood is fresh.

Service, Service,Service!!!!!5 stars on that alone. Saturday day date the clams, mussels and shrimp were tasty and fresh with the right amount of garlic, the bread that was served with it was so enjoyable I wanted the entire loaf and I'm not a bread eater. Our main meals were sandwiches which I'm so happy we ordered because we were stuffed from the large portion is our appetizer. I had the fried snapper and wifey had the shrimp po boy both were very fresh tasting not heavily breaded and over all an amazing tasting sandwich!!! Can't wait to return.

Ok why is isnt this place being talked about more. Today was our date night and my turn to pick where to eat. A friend mention this place so we figured we would give it a try. When we first arrived it was a bit empty which made me nervous but I figured it was because the weather was a bit crappy. We started with the oysters and drinks and boy or boy were we excited. The oysters were absolutely to die for, they were soft, plump and meaty. The horse radish was freshly grated and gave it just enough kick. We loved them so much we ordered three half dozens all different variety's. For our entrées, we ordered the shrimp appetizer and the ribeye steak with sweet potato fries. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Steak was cooked to perfection and those shrimps were out of this world. It was enough for both of us to eat and be full. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better the waiter Leo came over and entertained us with some magic tricks. He was fantastic from start to finish. We felt bad because we got there around 7:30 and they were closing at 9 yet they still allowed us to have a fantastic experience . We didn't feel rushed and we seriously had the greatest time ever. Food was amazing, we had the mixed fish seafood combo. It came with garlic buttered veggies and one piece of salmon. One piece of mahi and about 3-5 pieces of shrimp. All were delectable. We also had the seafood Rueben. And let me tell you!! Outstanding food quality and fast service. There was a lady with red hair there, she brought so much energy and a high standard of service! The hostess was very nice also, our bartender quick and attentive. And that's not even our favorite part.... The LIVE MUSIC! There was a trumpeter there named Jamie Kahn...he was so smooth, and precise. Truly a lovely experience! I will return for the food, naturally. But the musician made the experience everything and then more for our date night!

I've always walked pass Tin Fish on the way to Doris Market and noticed it's always busy and lively. Finally I stopped in for dinner on a weeknight and though it was only 3 tables full, the food and service were great. I love seeing the history of the restaurant on the walls and having the servers explain the menu in detail for a first timer. I really liked being able to see the fish I order before they cook it. I started with their famous fish taco. It was loaded with lightly breaded fish pieces and veggies with this delicious sauce on a warm tortilla. I'm usually not a big taco person but this one has me wanting to come back for more. I also got the appetizer dual pot with clams and mussels. Super fresh and the garlic butter wine sauce it was stewed in was amazing. I took it to go so I could boil some linguine with it. It comes with garlicky toasted baguette pieces and just the bread is phenomenal. Crunchy on the outside, soft in the center and topped with fresh minced garlic. The fried whole fish we selected was a yellowtail and the smallest they had for 2 people was 2.25 lbs. It was pretty hefty but after it was fried, it wasn't as much as we thought. We got the Asian sauce on the side and it was delicious. Definitely will be back!

Generally thought the food was just ok. We had the clam chowder. Sorry to say, it was too thick with roux/flour and not much flavor. Both of us didn't like the soup and thought it was probably one of the bottom 3 clam chowders we ever eaten. And to top it off, it was 12.95 a bowl. So disappointed. On the other hand, we wish we had the soup of the day (shrimp and corn chowder) which one of our dinner guests had. We tried it and it was excellent. For the entrees we had fresh shrimp, oysters and mahi mahi. The fish was fine (it's fried fish). The french fries were the frozen krinkle cut kind (with old bay seasoning) The bill for 2 people was $94. We just had the soup and the fried fish platters, no alcohol, no dessert. The place is not fancy. Drinks are served in plastic cups and you sit on metal chairs. Though we though the food was just ok, it was pricey for the experience we had. read more

We have eaten at this restaurant twice and both times we found it to be very very good. We always order raw oysters and they were great here. I agree with other reviewers that Tin Fish is one of the best kept secrets of South Florida. We stumbled upon it shopping at the nearby Asian market ,as it is not close for us in Delray Beach but worth the trip. My husband ordered the grilled grouper and it was probably the best simply grilled fish we ever had. It was seasoned so perfectly. Highly recommended. read more

We've ordered both the hot and the cold Lobster Rolls. Both are delicious! Served with fries and coleslaw. The service was friendly and helpful. The dining room is tight but comfortable. The thing that caught my eye was the beautiful, fresh snapper sitting on ice near the oysters in the display case. That's what I'll order on my next visit! read more

Love this place, my wife and I ate there often before Covid and we have done takeout during Covid. Tonight was the first time I have sat down for dinner at Tin Fish since Covid started with my brother who was visiting from out of town and they did not disappoint. The food was great, props to Chef Joe and his kitchen staff , the service was also very good as Jennifer was very attentive and friendly. read more

WOW! Delicious, plentiful and unique. Just what I look for in a restaurant. VERY satisfying and delicious food. More than adequate portions and things you just do not find everywhere. Gator bites, frog legs, conch fritters.....and more! COVID: METICULOUS in cleaning...employees were constantly spraying things down while we were there. All their masks were worn properly. Space between tables. Their signature Cole slaw was fantastic. Salmon burger was wonderful. Po boys were packed full and authentic. Service was super friendly, fast and attentive. Our drinks were never empty. Lots of happy conversation and smiles from the servers. Happy folks!!! Beautiful atmosphere and great location. read more

This is one of my new favorite seafood places in this area! We choose this restaurant because of the yelp reviews and we were not disappointed! We started off with the ceviche which I would HIGHLY recommend! The fish is super fresh and it served with pita chips ( which taste like lightly fried tortillas which are addicting) I would come back again and again JUST for this if I lived closer Next we ordered fish tacos, they are pretty pricey at $10 a taco but they do put a lot of fish in the taco, I would recommend getting the combo that comes with 2 tacos, coleslaw, and fries which is like $18-$20 depending on which taco you get. We choose the grouper and snapper, I preferred the grouper And what girls night would be complete without drinks! We ordered a few and they were all nice and strong just how we like them! Service was also great, fast and attentive... what else could you ask for? Overall, I loved this place! Food, service and drinks were all great a little pricey but it's well worth it. Give this place a try if your in the area! read more

Called for takeout and arrived on time. Waited 30 mins to get my food, the first 7 for someone to even acknowledge me. Owner offered a guy who came in after me a drink, so I know he cares about his customers, but I stood there like a goon and it didn't feel great. Spent $90 on takeout; the delay meant the salmon sat out and was cold and hard by the time I got it home. The oysters are great. The conch ceviche was even better! Not a great experience. I don't recommend takeout. But I review on food. Their seafood is very good. They have live music. It's a really good place. I'll come back and hope for a better experience. Not going to be a jerk and ding an otherwise great place for an off night. read more

I was brought there by a guy I work with who lives out in Sunrise. Really enjoyed the meal. Mine was salmon on their cold slaw. Best compliment I can give. I'd eat there tomorrow. Seems like everything is in the $20-$25 per person range. But for a good meal, nice place (locals kind of fun place) not unreasonable. Well $ spend. read more

I love this place. I wish it were closer to my area but this is my go to place for seafood out in West Broward. Prices aren't on the higher end considering it's in a strip mall out west but the food can hang with spots out east. The live entertainment is always great and parking is always ample. Haven't had a bad thing off their menu yet. read more

My rating reflects the exorbitant pricing more than the food or service. A friend and I dropped in for lunch and found the resto mostly empty. We assumed from the casual decor and the strip mall location that the meal would be reasonable, but $100.00 later (before tip) we learned our lesson. That was the price for a fried fish sandwich, a fried shrimp po boy, fish dip, a glass of wine and a well cocktail ($14.00). The food was delicious and if I was staring at the ocean from my linen topped table, the price would be understandable. I love to support small businesses but I don't like to feel taken advantage of; needless to say I won't be back. read more

I like Tin Fish. Seafood heaven!!! The fish was fresh and the variety awesome. Oysters, conch, gator, frog legs, fish, fish and more fish served grilled, baked or fried. From tacos, to soups, to sandwiches, to salads, to platters, you name it!!! The restaurant is small with seating inside and outside. The decor is very nice, we sat at a table that had a top that was an old ship's wheel. I hear the place does get packed esp on weekends when they have a band playing. People are standing out on the sidewalk. read more

I literally cannot say enough good things about this restaurant!! I'm down in S Florida for a work trip and was looking for some good grub and stumbled upon this gem. The food was superb, but even more importantly, the staff are phenomenal! It's a small locally-owned restaurant, manned by Chef Joseph, a New York transplant passionate about good, fresh seafood, who you can catch behind the counter serving up great food and a kind smile. We were encouraged to try several of their delicious menu items, and even received some bread pudding after watching it get the finishing touches at the bar. If you want GREAT seafood in an environment that truly makes you feel not only welcomed, but like family, look no further!! I'm in town for less than a week, and will definitely be making a return trip before leaving. We were served by the wonderful Yada and Stephanie and could not have been more taken care of. Service is horrible. We were seated before 2 other parties on the patio. We Ordered water from the hostess. When waitress showed up, she went to the later table first. When waitress finally came to our table, we told her we had arrived before other tables. She took our complete order, including a second request for water. Both other tables received their water, drinks and appetizers while we still had nothing. We just got up and left. Too many other places that want our business. I went back and read other reviews and saw Malcolm J had same experience as us four months ago. read more

I'm stilling eating at Tin Fish after all of these years. It's the freshest seafood around. Chef Joseph takes pride in ensuring that it's fresh and properly prepared. How many restaurants have the Chef circulate in the dining room chatting to diners and making sure they are satisfied? The servers are awesome too. They are very well versed in the types of seafood offered as well as give you a recommendation or two. Tin Fish also offers a full bar and the bartenders will provide you with the best and most refreshing cocktails. They also have an extensive beer and wine list to draw from. Tin Fish is casual and family friendly. They also have a delightful patio on which you can dine. read more

Loved this place! Happened upon it while looking for a place to have dinner. We almost walked by because it wasn't very busy, but boy, are we glad we didn't! When we walked in we were greeted right away and sat. The waitress was friendly and took good care of us. We ordered some raw oysters and when they came out, the owner, Joseph, the owner asked if he could throw an extra one on the plate and prepare it his style. He came to our table and shaved fresh horseradish, added some salt, pepper, hot sauce, lemon and cocktail sauce-delicious!!! I ordered the soup of the day shrimp and corn chowder-also delicious! For our main meals, I ordered the salmon on slaw, and my husband had the snapper with vegetables. I was shocked at the portion of my fish. There were 2 large pieces of fresh salmon with an awesome tartar with a kick on top. The slaw was very good. I had to box 1/2 up because there was just too much. The snapper was blackened and cooked perfectly. There were fresh veges on the side. We were getting ready to leave when Joseph invited us to try a freshly made marsala pudding like dessert with raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries-fantastic! When we thought we were finally done, he let us try his homemade skillet cornbread with jalapeños-I'll definitely be ordering it on my next visit. The place is a quaint little hole in the wall that definitely warrants a visit. I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

I love whole fish and I take advantage of ordering it when I see it on the menu. It's great that the waiters come out and let you pick which size fish you're going to get. I went with hogfish grouper since they said it's not always in stock for them and it's one of the faves. The fish itself was very good, but next time I'll ask for the Mediterranean sauce on the side because they poured so much of it that it overwhelmed the taste of the fish. I ended up pushing all of it off to the side of my plate. Spicy calamari appetizer definitely has a kick to it but tastes great and they give you a large portion. I also ordered the lobster bisque and it was ok, not as creamy of a bisque as I'm used to. The stone crab soup my friend ordered was much more flavorful and they add a TON of crab meat. This restaurant doesn't take reservations so on weekends get there before the 6pm dinner rush. We got there at 5:45 and got the last large table outside before a line started to form. Pretty so-so experience. We live closeby and wanted to check this place out, we love seafood. I waited at the hostess stand for 10 minutes while 5 different employees came by and none of them even looked in my direction. It was like I was a hassle to deal with. Anyone in customer service knows that all you have to do is say "we'll be right with you" but flat out avoiding me was just strange. Finally we sit down and our server was awesome. She was all over it. I had a spicy margarita for $16 that was basically saltwater so I wouldn't recommend that at all. We had the mahi fingers which were relatively good, but had to ask for lemon wedges and hot sauce which saved the day. The homemade sauce was honestly the best part of the entire meal. I then had a grilled snapper sandwich on an OK bun. Again, tartar sauce stole the show. The fries had to have been frozen from a plastic bag, but they were not the worst. Overall, we won't be back because of the value. Prices were so high for what you get it was almost shocking, especially for a spot in Sunrise tucked into a strip mall with a view of the parking lot. read more

One word "Mya", what an awesome server! She made sure my experience at Tin Fish was a wonderful one. She was attentive and offered many suggestions as to the menu selections. My dining experience at Tin Fish was for a late lunch/early dinner and I chose to sit in the outdoor patio area. Although it was a hot day, there was just enough breeze to make the experience an enjoyable one. The grilled blackened snapper and veggies were scrumptious. The veggies had that crunch that I love and were sautéed to perfection. Dessert: Omg The yummy, carrot cake is a definite must. The Musical entertainment in the evening is a nice touch as well. While vacationing in the great American city of Tamarac FL we went with my MIL to Tin Fish...a place that has been getting great reviews from the locals, including my MIL who, shall we say, is pickier than most. Although it is located in one of about 2,386 strip malls in the immediate area, the restaurant boasted a large dining patio. It was too hot and muggy for us, however, so we went inside. The interior decor was that of any coastal seafood shack on the Connecticut coast, with boys, anchors, lures, and other accoutrements of the Seaward way of life. Once seated, the menus were handed to us. Covered in real tin, they each weighed about 5 pounds. Once you got the strength to open them, they showed a very nice selection of fried, grilled, and raw seafood and other dishes. I chose the combination fried mahi-mahi and shrimp platter along with a cup of New England clam chowder. I was prepared for less than a great cup, being over 1200 miles away from New England, but it arrived hot, thick, and filled with softly simmered potatoes and very tender chunks of clam. I was pleasantly surprised. My wife's lobster bisque was also quite good. I combo platter had delicious mahi-mahi, perfectly cooked, along with six nice sized fried shrimp. The coleslaw tasted a bit ashen and the fries that accompanied the platter or less and simmered potatoes and very tender chunks of plan. I was pleasantly surprised. Despite all the positive word of mouth I was not impressed with Tin Fish. Fish sandwich was nothing special. Clam strips were ok, but not what you would expect at a fresh seafood place and the sauce was horrible. The biggest disappointment was the cocktail sauce. I asked for an extra one for my clams, as I do at every restaurant, and was charged extra for it. Looked on the menu later after the fact and it was listed on the menu, though I didn't know beforehand b/c when you order your not looking at the menu to see if a side of sauce with your clams cost extra. Usually your not thinking your getting charged extra for extra cocktail sauce. Besides that I asked for the sauce when the clams came to the table, before I tried the sauce. The sauce taste was horrible. It was the worst cocktail sauce I've ever had. I'm not sure what they do different here, but it was not like the sauce you get anywhere else and that's not for the better. If I had tasted it before asking for another I wouldn't have even asked in the first place. It wasn't that much extra, but I feel that's a really classless move charging for an extra tiny little thing of cocktail sauce, especially when it ain't good and don't taste like cocktail sauce normally does. read more

The most amazing Seafood in South Florida. The seafood is always made fresh made to order. You have to try the stuff Lobster it's to die for. And the sauces OMG homemade tartar sauce hot sauce and more. You will not be disappointed bring the whole family. You're going to get five star quality food at a down-to-earth Homestyle restaurant. Hats off to the chef. oh in the clam chowder and lobster bisque I promise you you will not find a more creamy and delicious soup anywhere believe me I've shopped around at different restaurants. The potatoes in the soup are soft but not mushy the claim has an excellent fresh taste in the thickness is just right. The best part is that since they shop local getting fish from South Florida filleting it right in the restaurant cooking it and serving it to you comma you never get a fishy smell or taste. I can't express how EXCITED I am about Tin Fish!!! We saw it as hot and new here on Yelp nearby and as a fish obsessed girl we were quick to try. They just had grand opening last week so very new. Okay the food! First of all, it meets all my best requirements: quick, cheap, casual and YUM!!!! they have a ton of fish options. The hush puppies were the yummiest fried pieces of bread I've ever eaten. Served with honey butter and wow just wow. My husband had the kaboom shrimp and said it was 100000x better than Bonefish's. Then i decided to go with their famous fish sandwich plate and it did not disappoint! bread was super soft, their tartar sauce is perfection and the fish was perfectly lightly fried and sooooo soft, flakey and perfect! love that they have crinkle fries - very hard to find around here! Unfortunately this time around was not a good experience. The whole fish made to order took 1.5 hrs to receive after ordering. The simple smoked fish dip took an hour to be served on a slow Monday night. Arrived at 6:45 pm. Departed almost 3 hours later. The owner / Chef was not on premises and all the staff had was excuses about tickets in the kitchen. They thought comping a drink and a dessert would satisfy us. We were the last to leave and had. No appetite anymore for any dessert. The manager tried to fix the problem with a gift certificate. However the damage was done. It was not worth waiting 1.5 hrs for a baked fish with no sides for $50. I could have went home and cooked it and brought it back. Nothing to rave about at all. Not returning. I was driving by and on my way into Doris, I stopped to get a Togo menu. The host Kirsten told me we were on a wait so I put my name on the list and finished up at Doris. My wife had left her pills at home, so I left her at the table and ran home real fast to get her those. While I was gone, our server, Cassandra, sat with her and spoke to her about all the specials that you all had tonight as well as kept her company while I was gone, she made us feel like family. When I got back she explained it again so that I could hear them... And bam!!! She sold us on our 2.5 lb Red snapper with the Asian sauce!! It was delicious. My wife and I ordered the hush puppies, corn bread, kaboom shrimp to start our meal off. Hush puppies and corn bread were both very good. If you like the dynamite shrimp from bonefish grill you will love the kaboom shrimp from Tin Fish.. For my entree I had the white fish and shrimp platter Amazing!!!!! Tin Fish in Sunrise has decent seafood, but the service doesn't quite match up. The fish is fresh, the portions are fair, and the flavors are solid--no complaints on the food. The service, though, felt a little off. The waitress wasn't all that welcoming and didn't seem to know the menu well, which made ordering more of a hassle than it should've been. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but it definitely took away from the experience. If you're in the area and just want good seafood, it's worth a stop. Just don't go in expecting much on the service side. read more

I have always liked Tin Fish. It's casual, pricey and so worth it. The food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. My friend and I split the day's special--Yellow Tail Snapper DEEP FRIED. We ate like vultures, even the skin. Our server, Marcy, opened the fish on each side for us. She gave us a taste of soup to try. My friend loved the soup and I had their delicious Caesar salad. Terrible service. Waited 15 minutes after being seated with no server and had to approach hostess for drinks. An hour and half later, we still did not have entrees and had to leave for a concert. Walked in and the layout is nice, the decor feels like a blend of 80's Miami vibes going for elegance. Looks better in pictures but still works in real life. We were greeted right away, host brought us to the wrong part of the restaurant first then brought us back to where we were supposed to sit. Server showed up quick enough and was very nice. Asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. We said we just want regular water, they brought out two bottles of Evian ($10 a pop) we were a party of 6. He took our drink orders, the drinks did take a while. The bread came out and most of really liked the bread, it was like Hawaiian rolls with some butter and Parmesan cheese. One in our party wasn't a fan. But don't listen to her they were good haha. Our appetizers were good, bao buns, cracked conch, chicken wings. Here is where the stars dropped a little more. They dropped partially for time the drinks took and the bottled water. But we looked through the menu which is not authentic Italian. It's a blend of Italian dishes, Jamaican dishes, Haitian dishes (that's not what dropped the stars) the prices for the items. Some dishes were reasonably priced, others were highly over priced. My wife got Alfredo pasta at $24 and added the lobster. They were generous with the lobster and only charged an extra $20 for it. I got the Rasta pasta $24 and added chicken $6 The Alfredo was fine, the lobster was good. My pasta however was all over the place. The pasta was completely overcooked so it was a little mushy, the peppers and onions were thrown in at the end so they were uncooked. The chicken was a little dried out and the jerk wasn't hot. The sauce did have a good taste, I did eat it all and I didn't not complain about it. It's a dish I would try again but if it came out like that again I'd send it back. Our friends got the scampi pasta and it was good they said. One got lobster and mashed potatoes $65, another got the salmon $42which she woofed down. One issue we had at the table involved the music. When someone is celebrating a birthday the dj jams a birthday song a louder volume, but he does the entire song and then doesn't turn the music back down to a regular level. So people had to ask a few times to turn the music back down so we could all hear ourselves. So here is the overall The restaurant is in a nice spot It's decorated nicely The staff was very pleasant (could use some improvements) Food all had good flavor (but quality control needs to be worked on) Prices are pushing it Would we go again? Yes. Would we recommend it to others? Yes. I wish them a bunch of continued success. One last thing that we didn't like. Our server mentioned to us when he dropped the checks that a service charge was included. I'm used to that, but what got me was he said part of it goes to the restaurant some of it goes to me, so it's not actually a tip and there is an additional tip line if you'd like to add something. Unless it's a banquet, the restaurant should not receive any of the service charge. That should go to the server and the regular tip out to their bartenders and bussers as is normal should be the way it is. The house should not get any part of it.

We arrived around 11 PM on a Friday and the place had great energy. It was lively without feeling overwhelming, and a few tables looked like they were celebrating special occasions, which added to the vibe. The music was excellent and honestly brought back a bit of that nostalgic, high school party feel in the best way. We ordered a couple of drinks and they were definitely strong and well made. The service stood out just as much as the atmosphere. The owner was incredibly pleasant and attentive, checking in with us several times to make sure we were taken care of. You could tell she genuinely cared about the guests. I also learned the owners are Trini and Guyanese, which I loved because it added a nice personal touch to the experience. As a first time visitor, I really appreciated that she thanked us for coming when we left. It made the experience feel welcoming and personal. I'll definitely be back to try the food. As a vegetarian, I'm hoping to make a special request since there aren't many Chinese vegetarian options on the menu, but I'm confident they'll accommodate it. We left after 1 AM and people were still coming in, so it's clearly a popular late night spot. Great location right off University with plenty of parking, which makes it super convenient.
