My family and I have been ordering food from Tin Tin Cafe for several years. Tonight was the WORST experience ever!! My daughter ordered calamari for takeout and when we got it the portion was not what you would expect for the price we paid. My wife called to let Tin Tin know how disappointed we were in the order, which they remade for us, but when I picked up the second order the young and immature cook had the audacity to come from the kitchen in SLIPPERS to confront me in front of my daughter about the amount of calamari that was cooked. Very unprofessional and BAD REPRESENTATION of staff for this restaurant. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tin Tin Cafe to evaluate their staff/family before given them a position within the restaurant. I would also recommend that Tin Tin Cafe to do there homework on BEST PRACTICES for how a restaurant treat customers as well. Homework lesson #1: Never let cookers come out to communicate with customers in bedroom slippers, White T-shirts and track pants. (customers can't take those individuals seriously) Homework lesson #2: only allow managers and waiters to mitigate customer issues or someone who has the intellect of an adult. We love the sushi/sashimi combo. Often those combos have less of the fish we love, and more of the fish we would never order, but not at Tin Tin Cafe. If you like big pieces of tuna, salmon, white tuna, and yellowtail, get this combo. We also like the rolls; the Green roll is particularly cool with seaweed salad on the outside. The service that me and my friend received today was horrible. i ordered the passion roll and the boston roll, which was buy one get one free so i was very excited. after about 20 minutes, i received my food. the boston roll which was fried shrimp was just okay. the passion roll was supposed to be fried tuna but was CHICKEN. I am a pescatarian so obviously i needed to have my food sent back. So i proceeded to ask to speak with the manager and the waitress brought the manager over to my table. i told her that my food tasted like chicken and she says "it's obviously not chicken it's salmon and even if it was it was suppose to be tuna. i then asked her if she was in the back when they put my food together and she says "no, but i know what it's supposed to be and it's not chicken". at this point i was so over it and i want my money back so as she walks off she says "if you don't know how to order sushi then don't get it, that's common sense" in no way was i rude to her for her to use that manner with me. The food is good, service is below par. My Chicken Udon Noodle Stir Fry came out about 20 minutes after everybody else got their food, so they were all already done eating. I asked for a to-go box right when I got the food, and was then lectured by our waitress about how I should eat at the restaurant and make my friends wait! I do not recommend. I spent over $70 on food from this restaurant for my family and we barely ate any of it. The shrimp was overcooked and rubbery and the chicken was dry. I used to love this place. They always did a great job with the fuji-aa-salad with Salmon. OMG, it was my go to. I JUST placed an order through postmates like 5 minutes ago for about $70 worth of food. The only thing I called for to ask is to have the fuju san salad with salmon and have eel and spicy mayo sauce on the side, I always did this on mom to-go for 3 years now.... This is not abnormal. I've been through multiple sushi restaurants and side sauces aren't a big deal. So I called... asking for the salmon in the fujusan salad... and then the lady on the phone was literally the most rudest person ever. She told me that she did't know what I was talking about and basically just brushed me off like I was some random irrelevant customer. She claimed she was the manager... but I have been to this place too many times and never heard her voice on the phone before. Regardless, you never treat your customer like crap, lady. Went for lunch on a Friday. When we walked in we were the only customers. By the time we left there was only one other person dining. I ordered the ramen bowl with tofu, my friend got raw fish and rice plate. I'd say the only thing nice about the food was the portion. The fish didn't look fresh, but i didn't try it. My tofu was the soft kind not cooked enough - it basically fell apart whenever I tried to pick it up. The noodles were udon, not ramen. The veggies were cut haphazardly (appearances do matter). We ordered a Hibachi chicken meal, and some sushi rolls (Alaska and Tuna) The hibachi came with a salad, soup and choice of several sides. The salads came out, and almost immediately the soup and our main courses were brought to the table. The timing could use some improvement. Everything was included in our order perfectly including all sauces and utensils, nothing was left out. Inside the store, it is clearly evident that all covid precautions are being taken and followed. This special independently owned sushi restaurant has served up the freshest best-in-class sushi for years. We've always been a fan, frequently at least once a month. They've always offered BOGO sushi dine-in only. Now they're offering their BOGO deal for carry out orders too. Perfection! Perfect day for lunch at Tin Tin - Buy 1, Get 1 Free Sushi Menu. I ordered the Florida Roll w/ salmon and the Mary Roll. Both were delicious, but the Florida Roll is my fav! My experience walking in the door, I was not greeted nor acknowledged as a new customer until I stopped a waiter and asked if it was self seating. She only replied that it was a 15-20 min wait, but the restaurant was half empty (of course I was confused). I liked the food a little better than the Toyoma restaurant down the road. The pricing was kinda expensive when they first open but they're having a 30% off hibachi and teriyaki dinners right now so it's pretty straight. The sushi is not bad, I tried a couple rolls. The only problem I found with the sushi is it all tasted the same to me. There wasn't anything wow about it so I kept ordering other rolls. The crab Rangoon was pretty good. I love this place! I discovered this little gem while getting jimmy johns when I first moved to the area in July, and my boyfriend and I have frequented it ever since! The sushi is the best I've had in awhile - super fresh tasting! The hibachi entrees are reasonably priced for the amount of food you get with them - we always have leftovers. The service is ok - seems like they only have 1 waitress and they tend to be very slow and not very attentive. Overall, the staff is very nice though. Only thing I'd change is the lack of music in the restaurant - most of the time when we dine in we're the only one there, and without music or tv noise the place is almost awkwardly silent lol read more

Our server recommended the Florida roll with salmon instead of tuna and it was delicious. I strongly recommend that. We had seafood noodle soup bowls as our main entrees. We thought the ramen and udon noodles were cooked perfectly. The only reason I can't give Tin Tin Café a 5/5 is that we had imitation crab in our soups. Give it a try! Hmmm...this place was not what I was expecting. I drove quite a distance to come here and I was overall pretty disappointed. When I got there, I saw a sign on the door saying sushi was buy one get one free but only if you ate in. I did not have time so I had to get my order to go which was kind of annoying because I had to pay for the sushi rolls full price. When I placed my order, the lady behind the counter was confused on what I was ordering. Then I waited 45 minutes to get 2 sushi rolls to go. There were very few other tables taken, but sounds like they do pretty good carry out business. I ordered two rolls (spicy shrimp and crazy hot roll) and my husband was excited to see Cantonese Style Chow Fun on the menu. The food came out so fast, I was sure it wouldn't be fresh or good.
