Tipsy Egg has been one of our favorite breakfast spots for a long time now ... We went there for breakfast this morning and to our surprise, the entire menu had been changed. We ordered something close to our usual and honestly, it was not good. The one menu favorite, the roasted potatoes, were very different and not in a good way. I got the cheesy ones. They were drowning in the cheese sauce and were extremely salty. I have been feeling sick since we left. We were told there is new management and they're changing it all. Like the saying goes ... if it ain't broke, don't fix it! There is a reason why Tipsy Egg has been a crowd favorite and the food (the way it was) was the main reason. Service, of course, was great as always. We love the staff. Sitting outside in the patio was nice since the weather was beautiful this morning. Oh HECK NO!!! Stopped here to eat and first... it was so hard to find this location, even with using GPS!!! ‍‍ I Swear that we drove around for 20min trying to find this place just to find that it's attached to the UNCOMMON. They should probably say that! Sheesh The spot has been many different restaurants over the years but to find that they actually chopped it into half, making it 2 different restaurants is wild!!! Upon entry, the first thing that we noticed was how tight it is... every table is gathered together and are all are within close proximity and to the next! Absolutely no privacy and very limited seating. The entry area is more spacious than the seating area...make that, make sense!!! ‍ Secondly, it was FREEEEEZING in there to the point where even the staff were freezing and wearing jackets, making it uncomfortable so we left! This place gives one claustrophobic. The design is jacked up but if the owners like it then it's on them. ***Update*** Whoever decided to reply to my review, obviously uses a copy and paste format because they called me Chris, and that isn't even my name. My name is clearly stated on the review with my photo and you still can't even take the four seconds to erase it and type Charlie.. Apparently it's not only the staff and the kitchen who cuts corners, it's the management, and whoever replied to this as well. I've now updated my review to one star because you couldn't take the time to type out the review yourself and you copied and pasted it from a format that all managers and general managers get. Like I had stated before , the lack of empathy in this establishment is appalling and anyone who chooses to eat here will quickly find that out. Disappointing Experience at Tipsy Egg. I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Tipsy Egg. What was supposed to be a fun brunch outing turned into a frustrating and uncomfortable experience for us. Firstly, the loud music made conversation almost impossible. Our server seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, taking ages to take our orders and forgetting one of our drinks. But what really left a bad taste was the bartender's behavior. Not only did she seem completely disinterested in serving us, but she also talked down to the other staff members, frequently referring to them as "bitches" within earshot of customers. It was unprofessional, disrespectful, and utterly unacceptable. The food was another letdown. We ordered several dishes, but each one lacked presentation and flavor. The portions were bland, and the quality was subpar. We also tried the espresso martini flight, which sounded intriguing. Unfortunately, the drinks were not made correctly and were "separating" by the time they arrived at our table. We asked the server to ask the bartender to remake them, but instead showing empathy, she seemed put off by our request throwing irritated looks over at our table as she remade them, as if it were beneath her to do her job.. The remade drinks were still subpar, and the bartender's attitude remained unapologetic and unfriendly. We did not ask for more. Overall, our experience at Tipsy Egg was disappointing, frustrating, and uncomfortable. With inattentive service, unprofessional staff behavior, and subpar food and drinks, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Rating: 2/5 stars. Cute but there is better competition. My fiance and I were sent here as a surprise from our friends. We were excited and ready to enjoy this new experience. The waiter came up to us twice at the beginning and asked if we were ready to order. We had not been there very long so each time we politely asked for a bit more time. Then, when we were finally ready to order, we made eye contact with THREE different servers MULTIPLE TIMES and they ALL ignored us. Finally I had to raise my hand because it was taking too long. Came here for brunch. Good prices got the gravy and biscuits and they were amazing! You have to get this plate. The space is nicely decorated a little cramped though. Came here at 11am on a Saturday for brunch and got seated right away. Service okay a little slower than other places. No unlimited mimosas so if you are looking for that look elsewhere. Talk about busyyyyyyyy! This place was packed! The tables are all full, the line out the door, and the staff running around. Sounds like my kind of place. Coming in for Saturday brunch was a good idea until we got there. Easy to get on the list. They have a text system to let you know your table is ready. Being in the area it's in, you can go explore across the way. Plenty of stuff to get into while you're waiting or just hang outside. (probably not the best idea) I ordered a smoked salmon toast with broccolini on wheat bread! Yummy for my tummy. I also had to try a Mimosa! They have so many cool flavors like Prickly Pear and Honey Lavender. I had to try the Lavender one! Delicious and it looked prettaayyyyy! You can order a flight of Mimosa that is stunning to look at colorful and again pretttayyyy! I have been waiting to try this spot out since they opened! Came in with some friends after we tried paddleboard yoga and were famished! I ordered the strawberry sparkler. It was supposed to have muddled strawberries and mint in it but it just tasted like sprite with 1/2 a strawberry in it. It was also in a smaller glass for $7.99. For breakfast I got the vegan power bowl. Ancient grains, spinach, peppers, and tomatoes. It was filling and good just wish there were more veggies in it. I got the party potatoes and they were flavorful but super heavy. Hubby got the Jammin hammie with the eggs over easy. The croissant was spectacular, ham was perfectly prepared, and the eggs with cheddar were perfect. The potatoes were thin sliced and well seasoned. We sat out on the patio and it wasn't too hot as we were there around 930am. They had the misters on and we asked for them to be turned off since we were directly under it and the table was getting soaked. I'm sure it's nice when it's super hot. Brunch at The Tipsy Egg was already great, but our server Eric made it even better. He was super friendly, kept the vibes fun, and somehow managed to appear exactly when we needed something (I'm convinced he has server superpowers). Drinks stayed full, food came out perfect, and he made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. If you go, definitely hope you get Eric -- he's the goat of brunch! read more

1. AVO toast- it was delicious. Avocado spread with two eggs the way you like them with pickled red onion with a vinegar sweet taste. The side order of potatoes were good but I like them more golden cooked. The waiter came over right away with silverware at the table and took my order for a drink. I ordered ice coffee and it still one of the best I ever had. The order took a little time to come out but the waiter apologized for the delay and gave me the meal free. The manger also came out and apologized.This is the most classy restaurant I have ever been that admits to a mistake and does something about it. I still wanted to pay for it but she said no we have it this time. I gave the waiter a big tip. It's was my fifth time there evaluating menu items. I recommend you try it out. Would give 0 stars if possible. Waited for almost 1h for our food which never made it to the table (after drinks were served) after a 45min wait time to get a table. Asked multiple times if server could check status of food, never came back with an answer People that got there after us, were getting their food before us, asked twice more to the host and server about our food, said she'd check, never came back. Decided to stand up and leave because waiting 1h for your food, while other people are eating already and nobody is checking how you are out there, it's not the proper way to treat clients. Once I cancelled the order with the front desk host, she apologized because they had a backlog and some other issue with the kitchen that they were trying to sort (not so great communication if for the last hour nobody could reach the table and say "sorry we have a kitchen backlog but we're working on your food, blah blah blah" at least to keep us updated). Not 10 minutes after we received our food and our drinks the server came by to say she was ready to cash us out? My friend was literally still eating and we had full, untouched drinks in front of us. It was a SUNDAY afternoon btw at 1pm... She didn't ask if we were ready to go, needed boxes, water, or if we were going to order anything else. I am a server and have been in the industry for 3+ years... this is embarrassing on behalf of the company and goes to show how much more they care about getting their bag over guest experiences. This place is definitely a hidden gem that I'll be back to visit. Walking it we were seated instantly with our option of indoors or out. We chose outdoors. It was a nice setup but probably should have sat inside. The outdoor patio is right near the main road and on a Friday morning with semis and other vehicles driving by it got pretty loud. Linda was our server. She was very attentive and funny. Loved the little one liners. They have a nice morning drink selection. The old fashioned breakfast with the espresso dusted rim was delicious. I ordered the veggie yummlet with party potatoes and sourdough toast and a side of Turkey sausage Pattie's. Food was delicious and ended up being too much to finish. Cutest little spot! Went there on a Friday morning and it was pretty busy. We waited for someone to great us and no one did so we sat ourselves. We also had to get our own menus and a server finally saw us. The review is so good because the menu was great, small but healthy and savory options available. They also have gluten free options. The drinks were adorable and the cheesy potato's were so tasty! Food took a really long time to get. My friend order a second mimosa and it never came. This is a really cute weekend brunch place. This place is a 4.5 but because they got 5s in 2 out of the 3 categories (read below) I rounded up. You can definitely tell they take the time and make the effort in the presentation especially with the mimosas. This isn't the best brunch place but I would come back. I judge a restaurant based on 3 categories; food, service, and ambiance. Food 4/5: A good brunch place must have good mimosas so we got "Aloha Mimosa" as well as the "Mimosa Paloma" and both sound and look better then they actually were. The Aloha had to much syrup and the Paloma taste to much like rosemary. As for the food, I got "The Crazy Scrambler" and it was good but not life changing, it was pretty basic. Lastly, we got chocolate macadamia nut cookies and even though they would be way better if they were hot, still wasn't bad. Service 5/5: Even though it was really busy as expected on a Sunday, the staff our server did not looked stress. They were very welcoming and friendly. Ambiance 5/5: The ambiance was exactly what you want in a brunch place. Good music, a nice patio and a up beat atmosphere. Disappointed with this place. They got every drink wrong and re-dif almost everything. The water taste horrible, we saw every table around us and no one drank the water. The food was okay a little too much salt but okay I can deal with that. Our bill was 100$ and just felt like it was not worth it. Not coming back. We love this place. Probably a 4.5 overall. 5 stars for their "party potatoes" alone. Those delicious morsels are potato chunks with some cheese and lovely rosemary. Oh so good! Food overall is well-seasoned and tasty. Portion sizes are almost perfect for brunch. Not the cheapest prices for breakfast/brunch, but not terrible. Some of our favorite dishes are the Enchilada and the Chicken Fried Pork. My wife loves that it's different than the usual chicken fried steak. Cocktails are priced a little higher than they should be. Basic Mimosa is $7.99 and comes in a tiny flute glass. Should be a big wine glass at that price. So $8 is the cheapest booze drink and goes up from there. At least their bloody mary's are spot on. Great house mix. Some of the best we've had. Just wish they had some daily drink specials. Service is fast and attentive and both the patio & interior have a good brunch vibe. Good location in downtown Chandler.
