IF your looking to get your vehicle service( belt tensioner replacement ) not just an oil change please do yourself the favor and go else where , Misleading information , unknowledgeable staff. Took my truck to get service explain what the problem was and shown pictures given a price ( which I understand its not a full price more of an estimate after waiting for a day and half without my vehicle I was told basically to take my car else where as they have to take it apart and send it to someone to fix it and then they install it , Tire Choice and Car Care is basically a tire place with only oil change station . I was highly upset as it was misleading and the service was not great . I wasn't even offer to another place as I'm new to the area, So much for wasting my time and also lost a valuable customer as I was looking forward to working with them for any of my future car issue , I should of stuck with my gut and notice the star count wasn't great , I try to give them the benefit of doubt , but I wouldn't recommend this place for any mechanically issue , I wouldn't even trust them for a tire rotation put it like that . read more

My car was making a noise that I knew as not good so I pulled in to Tire Choice and asked them if it was safe to drive. The Manager Karl came out and started the car and thankfully it made the noise right away. He took it right in and had an estimate for me within half an hour. I did not have an appointment, I just pulled in on my way to work. He then ordered the parts and had to go to Clearwater to get them to have my car repaired on Saturday, so I didn't miss another day of work. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate their level of service. We will definitely be taking our cars there again. read more

I'm here to share with you the worst experience I've ever had getting my car fixed. On Saturday morning after finishing my 9 hour overnight shift at work I get to my car and notice the left front tire of my 2000 Toyota Camry is flat. So lucky me I get to change it. I put on the full size spare put the flat in the trunk and get on with my life. On Wednesday Morning August 20th after having worked another 9 hour over night shift I decide to head to the tires choice at 10742 Big Bend Rd, Riverview, FL 33579 at 8 in the morning which I have never been to before, to get 2 new tires. I walk in to the showroom and the manager whose name I find out later is Josh is on the phone in the other room and he is cursing up a storm not in anger cursing but talking to a friend cursing... F@#k This F@# That. I waited so long for him to get off the phone I got out my cell phone and started looking for other tire shops in the area it took about 15 mins of me standing there. When Josh got done talking to his buddy he came over to me and I explained I got a flat and need two new tires. He quoted me $187 "out the door". I also mention that my check engine light was on and can you tell me what that's about. He said ok It will be 1 1/2 hours. I sat and waited and waited and waited, at about the 2 hour mark I tracked down Josh and asked how much longer, he went in to the area where they fix the cars and never came back and told me. 45 mins later he says "the tires are done and the check engine light was on because of a loose gas cap. Then gives me a list of things to fix that will be $600 "out the door" I explain that I don't have the time to fix these things because I have been up for 20 hours. Josh says ok tells the mechanics take the car off the lift. Other 20 mins go by, finally I get the bill and low and behold it's not $187 "out the door" it's $279 there's a charge for engine analysis. Yes I paid 89.00 for Tires Choice to tell me something I could get for free at Discount Auto Parts. I was too tired to argue, I got my keys and went home. When I arrived home a little voice inside my head told me to check the spare in the trunk. I open the trunk and what do I see???? The flat tire still in there where I left it!!!! This genius changed the full size spare and left the flat in the trunk. So I get on my cell phone and call Tire Choice and explain the situation. This time I get a man named Pat. He says Josh never told them that the flat was in the trunk. I get back in my car and drive to Tires Choice, where Pat is there to greet me and take the flat tire from the trunk and put the rubber from the spare back on. Then he lets out this gem "I thought it looked like a spare" wow that guy's got upper management written all over him. So after Pat is done with the tire he rolls it back to my car and puts it in the trunk and walks away......Did he properly secure it with the hardware that Toyota supplies so the spare doesn't move when the car is in motion? No, I got to do that. Did he put the tire changing tools away in the trunk in a neat organized fashion? No I got to do that. Did he put the hub cap back on the new tire? No I get to do that which I have no idea how, I guess I'll just Google it later. This was the most disorganize auto shop I have ever did to. I will never return to another Tires Choice. read more

I am required to get a vehicle inspection by my new insurance company and Tire Choice was the closest to my location. First, they are very limited as to the times they will actually let you come and get your inspections done (Monday-Thursday from 9-5). When you work full time, it's hard to get there during those times. You can't even get it done on a Friday! Then I called to see if they were open on Labor Day (A Monday) and they said yes. I made sure to ask that inspections could be done from 9-5pm and they said yes. Well, we drive all the way there, and the guy says "We don't do inspections on holidays". What!? Give me a break! I just called and the guy said nothing about that. You're not closed due to the holiday and everybody is there working, but you can't take 5/10 minutes to inspect my vehicles? Major waste of time and the guy could've cared less that we were put out by the lack of info. we were given. Their "rules" don't even make sense. I'll never step into a Tire Choice again. read more

WARNING!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! !! I needed new spark plugs. So on Thursday I called around in our area. Tires choice said they can do it today. I said great. $ 250 out the door. They called me back saying it leaks oil into my spark plugs that would be $550 and they can't do it today. All good my friend can trop me off at work the next day. I pick up my car and drive not even out of the parking lot I noticed my power steering wheel is not working. At this point I am pissed. So I went back inside. They told me they put it on my bill for next time to fix. For $$311. Well it worked fine when I trop it off yesterday. Well they said bring it back in the morning and we take a look. So I went to auto zone explained what happen they said customers say that alot. So the guy in auto zone told Me check if they drained your power steering fluid. Sure enough they did. I am so pissed. I called the tires choice corporate office they not answering the phone. All I can say costumer service sucks and they rip you off. NEVER AGAIN. read more

After being a Tire Choice customer for a number of years, I stopped by the store on Big Bend Road in Riverview. I told them my tire was going flat and to please fix it . Imagine my surprise and dismay when I was informed by the manager that they could not do it. They were booked up solid all day. This was at 9 AM . No time to patch a flat? I think these guys are in the wrong business. Maybe a tutorial in customer service might help. read more

Be sure you get a quote in writing. . What they say over the phone won't be honored when you pick up your vehicle. Over paid and they couldn't even get the battery in the truck properly fastened. The battery was banging around under the hood. Needed to take it some where else to get it bolted down. Lost a customer today. read more

The only reason I gave this review one star is that I couldn't give it zero stars. I patronized this business for at least 4 years for everything from basic oil changes to tires to wheel bearings, brakes, and shocks but I'll NEVER give them my business again. The last time I was there I was checking my car in, my husband came in a few minutes after I did. While I was being helped by a sales guy, the manager approached my husband and asked "Can I help you?" My husband replied "I'm with her," Indicating me. The manager of the store then looked at my husband and said "And you admit that?" We were too stunned to react and in my shock I finished checking in my car and left in tears feeling totally humiliated. When we went back later to pick up my car the manager offered one of those douchey non-apologies that essentially said "I'm sorry you took my harmless little joke wrong." When I called him on it he got mad at me. This Store Manager is a TOOL and a DOUCHEBAG and has all the maturity I'd expect from a frat boy. read more

I had purchased a small part at an auto parts store across the street and was attempting to put it in in the parking lot. A service tech from The Tire Choice was picking up supplies and saw me struggling - he offered to help. When he realized he needed a flashlight and another tool, he asked me to drive across the street to the Tire Choice shop. While Kenny was installing the part, the manager, Peyton came into the parking lot to chat with me. While we were talking about Mazdas, I asked him how late they were open; he said they were supposed to have closed an hour ago. There were still 3 service techs there finishing vehicles for customers who urgently needed their cars first thing in the morning. What auto shop does that? Great customer service - highly recommend. Their labor cost is low (we discussed some other work; they wouldn't even charge me to install my headlight) and I will definitely refer them to my friends and family. read more

STAY AWAY!!!! 2 years ago I went in for routine maintenance, oil change, spark plugs, etc. on my 2003 Chevy Tahoe. Over a $1,000 later I was told that I needed a new radiator because it was leaking. I hadn't seen any leaks, however we were going on a road trip and I didn't want to risk the truck breaking down on me, so I had it done. We drove 12 hours to our destination, and the second day the vehicle started to run hot. Our friend is a mechanic, who looked at it and said that our clamps to hold the hoses in place to the radiator had come off. Well he fixed it. Fast forward to 2 year's later, my vehicle started to give me problems. Well I took it into another shop of course and they are telling me that I need ANOTHER radiator which is going to cost $600. I called Total Care about a warranty and was basically told that I was out of luck. If you care about your vehicle and don't want to spend money unnecessarily...I would NEVER TAKE ANYTHING HERE!!!!! read more
