I was quoted a price for my tires to be mounted. On Wednesday. On Thursday I went In, price was $50 more. I was told it's due to a premium truck tire price. On Wednesday I told the manager exactly what I had. Today it was. $50 more. He said he's a new manager, so this tells me he's trained by Corprate to say this. I've been a mechanic for heavy equipment for more years than he has been alive. So a premium truck tire charge. bullshit. He said there is more work involved. Bullshit the machine does all the work. I'm not an idiot that sits behind a desk that can be told I need premium air. Ive done this longer than he's been alive. This is the second time here. The first wasn't much better but I had a tire going flat as we spoke and this place was the closest that I could make it to. I paid the extra rate, I had to. Then it took two hours to get me out. I've done 10 tires on a heavy haul Truck in less than an hours. But ok they don't make help like they used to. But to be told there is an up price for premium truck tires is bullshit. I will never go here again. Stop lying to people you never know who's standing on the other side of the counter. And possibly that person knows more about this than you do. I will never return. if I have an issue I will pay for a tow truck next time to take me somewhere else. On 07OCT22, I took my vehicle to the Tire Outlet on Beach and 295. They serviced an oil change. Then on 29JAN23, my vehicle stopped working in the middle of traffic entering Avenues Mall. After having it towed, the service department mechanic said that the engine ceased because of no oil. I told Tire Outlet to use synthetic oil because my vehicle was over 149,000 miles. Instead, they used conventional oil. Meaning, because they used the wrong oil, it seized the engine. Now, my vehicle needs a new engine due to their negligence. I have no vehicle because the management is giving me the run around. Saying that there is no corporate office to contact. They are not replacing my engine. I have all the paperwork. And still they are not taking accountability for their mistake. Going back in to the store did nothing. read more

Pouring rain and I hit a pothole. Fortunately, I'm just down the street from the Tire Outlet. It's 3:30 on a Friday and they're slammed. I'm told the wait will be 45 mins. I make a few calls and look out the window to see the guys working on my tire well below the 45 they told me. My tire isn't in stock so they throw on my spare and get me headed home. The team here is wonderful, we had 4 sets of tires purchased from them for our X5, I've brought both my cars here to get the tires checked, nails removed etc and the team is quick, efficient and professional. Honestly could not rave about it any more. Everything is always covered and no out of pocket fees. Continue to return and would highly recommend if you need help with tires etc. I've even brought my kids with me and they always try to work quickly to get me out without waiting. Paid over $1300 for AC replacement and was quoted $205 for a door handle including labor. Handle part was quoted at $110.40 available on Amazon at $12 (See picture) I was able to replace it in 10 minutes and labor was quoted at 95.00 for handle replacement. Bought set of new tires for my Mercedes with 40,000 mile Warrenty...tires wore down to the core at 15,000 miles 8 months later. This place is now under new management and changed their name to The Tire Department. I came here to change my brake pads and was quoted a fair price after inspection. Some other shops tried to get me to replace both rotors and brake pads, which was unnecessary. Manager did not try to push any additional services that I did not needed. The wait was fairly long, so it's probably best to drop your vehicle off and pick it up later. After they changed my brake pads, they found that one of the lug stud was stripped and they were unable to put the lug nut back. Staff denied that it was their mechanic's fault and claimed that it was stripped during prior services. However, the manager did offer to replace the lug stud for free, which is normally a fairly expensive service. This is definitively a good place to get a second opinion and quote for your car service. Their prices are very competitive in this area. read more

They told us we had to pay to get it towed and fixed even though it was there fault and nothing was wrong with my ignition when I dropped it off. WILL DAMAGE YOUR WHEELS AND LIE ABOUT IT! This is a portion of the email sent to the store owner: "On 15th June 2018 I purchased a set of BFGVG-FORCE COMP 2 AS for a total of $449.03 and had the shop mentioned above install said tires. Prior to the installation I asked both the manager, Malissa, and the installer if they feel comfortable completing the install without damaging my gloss black wheels that did not have ANY previous damage, they both assured me that they can complete the task without any damage. But they did damage the wheels, both wheels that they touched are now damaged; Both wheels were damaged during the installation on the surrounding edge / lip and deeply on the outside lip. When I noticed the damage, I inquired to the installer, Jay, if he had knowledge of the damage and he informed that he did not know but there is a chance that this may have happened while he installed it. Upon further investigation, I found out that both the installer AND the manager did know about the damages caused to the wheels, not only failed to tell me about the damage, the installer tried to hide it by spitting on my wheels. Saturday morning I went to speak to Malissa, and she again lied to my face four times insisting that she did not know, because I was in view of the vehicle and then spitting on my wheels right before installing onto the car. I walked around the block to the nearby Seafood restaurant for a delicious meal. When I returned my balance and rotate were completed. The gentleman behind the counter was efficient and very cordial.
