Tito's Famous Tortilla Chips and Homestyle Salsa

Not too bad! First, both of the tacos that we got were not that bad, but I would definitely add some of the green hot sauce for some more flavor for every bite. The service was very helpful and attentive even though it got busy as time went! Vibes were LOUD throughout the place. You can tell this is a locals and a place that manyyyy come to. Overall, I'd say it was okay......just wish there were some authentic Mexican dishes on the menu but overall not bad.

I have enjoyed Tito's many times. It's is not fancy Mexican. Tito's is casual . It's simple but has been good many times. The last few times it has not been up to par. There has been a giant pile of cheese melted on top that over takes the meal. The enchilada has been salty and just ok. I am not sure if the kitchen staff are new but sadly it's been mediocre. The people are extremely nice and it's a fun place. The house margarita is always good

Such a nice little authentic mexican Restaurant. My server Jackie was very attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. The chips were warm and the salsa was the best that I've had in a long time. The menu has really great selections--something for everyone--and all the food is fresh and delicious.

Very fresh and honestly, very affordable for the aesthetic, quality, and taste. Plus the service is great. I've had their pastas, entrees, apps, pizza, and drinks and there is nothing you can go wrong with. My personal favorites is their kale salad, chianti marsala braised beef and mushroom tagliatelle. Again, the quality is great and everything is seasoned/ flavored well. Plus their pastas are homemade! They also give free bread, who doesn't love that? I cannot recommend this place enough. Perfect for a date night or night out with friends.

Every table and bar seat was packed so I highly recommend having a reservation or be prepared to wait a bit. The Romaine & Kale Caesar Salad with Chicken Milanese was genuinely tremendous. Such an elite combination from the freshness & creaminess of the salad to the crispiness and saltiness of the Chicken Milanese. Since we were sharing, they pre-split the portion for us which was a nice hassle-free experience. I could've honestly ended the meal here and been super content. I rarely see oven roasted pizza on the menu so we decided to try the Oven Roasted Chicken Grilled Pizza. The best part was actually the dough; it's thin enough where the roasted/grilled flavor comes through. The pesto and arugula were both good and paired well with the grilled chicken. The Tagliatelle was savory, earthy, and not overly creamy. The pasta itself was cooked just right. Since we were celebrating a birthday, I was so grateful that they offered us a complimentary slice of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake. It was so good! Moist, creamy, and not too sweet or citrusy. It was a pleasant bite to end the meal on. Great spot!

This is primarily what replaced Chipotle when my friends and I want Mexican on the island…read more Comparatively, it's quite a bit smaller and cozier inside. Leaving the parking lot here is only second to KFC/Domino's, in terms of stupidity. The positives here are no crunchy rice, I can get a horchata or tamarind drink, a large selection of Jarritos soda, and the chip bags are always stuffed completely full. (I will have to say, though, I love the lime salt that Chipotle uses on their chips) I tend to order taco salads here, and the portion sizes are pretty darn good. I will, however, suggest getting either the green hot or medium hot sauce, mixed with the hot. The hot sauce has a decent amount of heat, but not much depth of flavor. All in all, this is a pretty solid fast food choice.

They were good with the portion sizes, not too stingy but also didn't pile things on. All the toppings were fresh. We ended up getting chips on the side. My friend and I were discussing how the flavor and texture of the chips have changed for the worst over time - they use to be lighter and crispier, with lime and salt. The bag does bring a good amount, enough for two people to share. The lemonade drinks in the dispensers are good, and I like that they let you pour it yourself because we tried different combinations. The staff was kind and efficient.

The service was exceptional, and the menu boasts an impressive array of authentic Mexican dishes, including mole and pumpkin sauces--definitely not Tex-Mex. This is a much-needed addition to the local dining scene, as Rhode Island is not renowned for its Mexican or Tex-Mex options. Currently, Pero Solado is one of the few decent spots on the island, with a few more in the Providence and Central Falls area. Note that they do not have a liquor license, so you can enjoy Mexican sodas instead. Our meal consisted of guacamole and chips, carne asada, three tacos, and a side of beans. Everything was delicious; the beans were clearly homemade, and the tortillas were made from corn. The pricing was generally good, although the guacamole and chips at $10 seemed a bit steep. I highly recommend giving them a try to support another vibrant spot on Broadway. I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast offerings soon. First impressions is that they did a nice job at decorating this little spot, decor is great. Ordered a horchata, which you could tell was homemade and not from some pre-made mix, which of course made it taste that much more yummy. Main course I got was the chicken torta, which was flavorful and would be something I would order again:) Newport needs more Mexican food places that aren't the tired tex-mex style spots we have here.
