I have enjoyed Tito's many times. It's is not fancy Mexican. Tito's is casual . It's simple but has been good many times. The last few times it has not been up to par. There has been a giant pile of cheese melted on top that over takes the meal. The enchilada has been salty and just ok. I am not sure if the kitchen staff are new but sadly it's been mediocre. The people are extremely nice and it's a fun place. The house margarita is always good

Such a nice little authentic mexican Restaurant. My server Jackie was very attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. The chips were warm and the salsa was the best that I've had in a long time. The menu has really great selections--something for everyone--and all the food is fresh and delicious.

Not too bad! First, both of the tacos that we got were not that bad, but I would definitely add some of the green hot sauce for some more flavor for every bite. The service was very helpful and attentive even though it got busy as time went! Vibes were LOUD throughout the place. You can tell this is a locals and a place that manyyyy come to. Overall, I'd say it was okay......just wish there were some authentic Mexican dishes on the menu but overall not bad.

Chicken tacos were pretty good, chips and salsa are a must! Taco Bell is next door so if you have a few extra minutes skip Taco Bell.

Sandy was our amazing server, provided great recommendations and very attentive to her respective tables. Cocktails were great, antipasto was a great start not too much to leave room for the main and desert! The focaccia was light and flavorful as well. Had the rigatoni bolognese which was prepared perfectly and had great flavor. Nearly licked the plate clean! Saved a little room for desert with both cakes being tasty and washed down with an espresso martini. Lovely place to have a date night or night out with friends!

She was nice enough to let me try them and I chose the Trevino which was very good and paired great with my food. The bread was nothing special but solid and the high quality olive oil made up for it. For my main I got the chicken milanese and it was divine. I loved the vinaigrette on top perfectly acidic and vinegary. It cut though the oil and heaviness of the breading which was perfectly salted by the way. The arugula bean salad was sooo good and created such a well balanced meal. The one thing I will say is I believe their fryer does fish and chicken bc my chicken had a slight ocean taste but since I like fish I was not bothered but non fish people beware!

This is primarily what replaced Chipotle when my friends and I want Mexican on the island…read more Comparatively, it's quite a bit smaller and cozier inside. Leaving the parking lot here is only second to KFC/Domino's, in terms of stupidity. The positives here are no crunchy rice, I can get a horchata or tamarind drink, a large selection of Jarritos soda, and the chip bags are always stuffed completely full. (I will have to say, though, I love the lime salt that Chipotle uses on their chips) I tend to order taco salads here, and the portion sizes are pretty darn good. I will, however, suggest getting either the green hot or medium hot sauce, mixed with the hot. The hot sauce has a decent amount of heat, but not much depth of flavor. All in all, this is a pretty solid fast food choice.

I came here for lunch on a weekday, so it was sort of quiet. I ordered a chicken bowl with white…read morerice, pinto beans, mild salsa, corn, lettuce, queso, cheese, and fajitas with sour cream and hot red salsa on the side. They were good with the portion sizes, not too stingy but also didn't pile things on. All the toppings were fresh. We ended up getting chips on the side. My friend and I were discussing how the flavor and texture of the chips have changed for the worst over time - they use to be lighter and crispier, with lime and salt. The bag does bring a good amount, enough for two people to share. The lemonade drinks in the dispensers are good, and I like that they let you pour it yourself because we tried different combinations. The staff was kind and efficient.

The service was exceptional, and the menu boasts an impressive array of authentic Mexican dishes, including mole and pumpkin sauces--definitely not Tex-Mex. This is a much-needed addition to the local dining scene, as Rhode Island is not renowned for its Mexican or Tex-Mex options. Currently, Pero Solado is one of the few decent spots on the island, with a few more in the Providence and Central Falls area. Note that they do not have a liquor license, so you can enjoy Mexican sodas instead. Our meal consisted of guacamole and chips, carne asada, three tacos, and a side of beans. Everything was delicious; the beans were clearly homemade, and the tortillas were made from corn. The pricing was generally good, although the guacamole and chips at $10 seemed a bit steep. I highly recommend giving them a try to support another vibrant spot on Broadway. I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast offerings soon. First impressions is that they did a nice job at decorating this little spot, decor is great. Ordered a horchata, which you could tell was homemade and not from some pre-made mix, which of course made it taste that much more yummy. Main course I got was the chicken torta, which was flavorful and would be something I would order again:) Newport needs more Mexican food places that aren't the tired tex-mex style spots we have here. Give this spot a try!
