Jenny is my friend! I'm not just saying that because I pop in a few times a year and she feeds me these INCREDIBLE subs. I'm calling her a friend because she is genuine and warm and knows how to personalize service! I used to go to T.J.'s on Whittier Blvd. back in the late 70's. It's long gone but Jenny's location is BETTER then I remember my old location being! I also recommend the location on Arrow Hwy. BOTH locations are great! When it was owned by miss Jenny. They were liberal with the portions that they put in each sandwich. I was there yesterday and they have gone by the way of Panda Express very skimpy on the servings. The prices were not any lower. I spent $27.00 for 3 Sandwiches. Not the same anymore. I don't know who owns it now, but even the taste has changed. read more

I found this little hole in the wall place by accident. I was really craving a sub and was seriously tired of subway. They were very friendly and quick. Great hole in the wall to have a fresh sandwich. Had the cheese and avocado sub with everything on it, all ingredients were fresh tasting and delicious. Bread was soft, she was kind if light on the avocado but everything else made up for it. Everything is reasonably priced, place is clean. great sando's here. The jenny's sub and beef with mushrooms is really good. Had the oyster sub, that was a surprise. Tho im not into fried oysters much, it was still good. When i went in there they were cooking bacon. Smelled sooo good, i regret not getting anything with bacon on it. Next time fsure tho. I've ordered from Tj's for almost all my parties the 6ft sub is always a hit. My guest always ask me where I got the sandwiches from because it's so delicious. The sub I normally order is the 3 meats sub ; ham, turkey and roast beef, lettuces, tomatoes, purple onions and avocado. read more

Great little mom and pop sandwich shop. They have a lot of different variety of sandwiches and other foods as well on menu. I usually order the turkey, avocado, and swiss sandwich and it's really tasty. The bread that they use is good and fresh unlike other places where it might be old and stale. The owner is always so friendly upon entrance. I will be back to try more on the menu. read more

I got the TJ Sub and it was delicious! For the price, you get a a lot of food. I ordered the large (12inch) because it was only $6.39, I only ate half so I was able to save the other half for later. This place has a lot of different sandwiches and you are able to customize it however you want. Definitely recommended. read more

Our office was looking for local places that deliver and came across this place. We have ordered from this place probably 3-4 times since we found it. We will say that the sandwiches are on point. There fries are a little greasy. However, recently we tried to place an order. The past 3-4 times we have ordered, we were not charged for delivery if we spent over $20 not including tax. However, we tried to place an order and the lady was VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!! She started to get upset when we questioned the delivery fee, since we were not charged previously. The lady then proceeded to tell us that even if it's over $20 there is still a fee and she can't deliver right now because she's busy so we would have to pick it up. We asked her to hold for a minute so we could figure out if one of us could pick it up even though we ordered for the DELIVERY. The lady then became very impatient and told us that she's very busy and if we cannot pick it up to just cancel the order, SO WE DID! As much as we loved this places sandwiches, we do not tolerate RUDE customer service. We don't care how busy you are, you don't talk RUDE to customers and tell them to just cancel because she has other orders to do. HORRIBLE and will NEVER order from them again!!! read more

I'm so sorry to have to leave a bad review because the woman running this place is so friendly and welcoming, but my experience was truly awful. I got the Philly cheesesteak based on some other reviews, and I literally had to spit it out in my napkin. I tried to force myself to eat it for the sake of my lunch mate, but I couldn't. To me, everything we ordered tasted slightly fishy, or maybe like the grill wasn't clean. It was so bad that I lost my appetite. I also had to get three different beverages before I could find one that didn't either need to have the syrup replaced or have the lines cleaned. Again, I wish this lady the best and I hope my experience was unusual, but I'll never go back and I can't for the life of me understand how this place has almost five stars. read more

I worked here in my teen years and back then the sandwiches were overloaded with toppings and meat. I just went there today and I guess I wont be going back. I ordered the turkey bacon and cheese. I got what looked like a piece of bacon crumbled into a large sandwich. There was hardly any turkey and they were very stingy with the lettuce and peppercinis. I dont know if Jenny still owns this place or someone else but if I wanted a sandwich like that I could've went to Subway. Sad! Will never go thete again read more
