The only thing that I have here is the Red Snapper and Shrimp plate with white rice (not Fries which is how it comes unless you specify rice instead), usually on Friday nights! I think if they made it with Fried Rice it would be that much better! Still the Red Snapper/Shrimps are a bit salty with the Louisiana Hot Sauce I pour on it, still worthy of trying at least once! food is good! prices are reasonable, customer service is horrible!so I call and place my order and the heavy set lady repeated my order twice did my running around after my errands and I come home and relax and want to eat my sandwich and it's the wrong one so I call her and she says it's her mistake I get there to pick it up and they want to change me the difference after I had to drive back to the to pick up the Sandwich I originally ordered and then she tells me to bring the other sandwich back! Five stars for my first two visits! Friendly staff, fresh tasting ingredients on the subs. Reasonable prices! Loved the New Yorker and Crab (that's fake crab or Krab) Sub. My only complaint, and it's definitely not worth taking away a star, is that there is only a small delivery area. Maximum of two miles. And I think they said only to businesses, not to residences. Hidden gem in the little plazita next to where I get my haircut. Sometimes I'd walk by this joint while getting lotto tickets and junk food at the liquor store right next to it. One day I took the bus to the barbershop and was starving, so I decided to try it out. They make some big sandwiches here! I thought the lady was gonna hold back on the meat, but she didn't. It was funny because there must have been another first timer there too because he ordered two sandwiches and asked if he could give her one back after seeing it! I believe a picture is a thousand words, so look for a picture with my name on it, because I can't remember the name of the sandwich I ordered. I do know that it had plenty of ham, turkey and salami it, like stacks and stacks and stacks of meat. After I found this place, somehow subway and Quiznos seemed so inadequate. First off, even the bread at TJ's is amazing. It's so soft and when you have cheese melted on top (like in steak subs), delicious! The meat portions are very generous. Tons of vegetable varieties, and the ladies behind the counter are always willing to add extra or none of any. Their fish!! Get a #6 (? I believe) special. 5 pieces of fish, 5 pieces of shrimp, and fries for less about 7 bucks! Amazing. Plus when I asked, I found out most of their stuff are home-made! The macaroni salad, potato salad, ranch, tuna salad, even the tartar sauce! The owner, who is the Korean lady, is always so friendly with her customers. I've even seen customers bring in pictures of their kids or grand kids to share with her. She always has a smile on her face. :) Overall, 5 stars total for excellent service, good portions, variety in their menu, and everything else about TJ's. One drawback though. The store is really easy to miss so drive by slowly! read more

this place is a little hole in the wall that you would probably drive by if you weren't paying attention. upon entering, we were greeted by the lady behind the counter. as we stood there looking at there 60+ different subs, she offered up some suggestions. i ended up getting the turkey, bacon, swiss sub. it was pretty good, bread was soft and warm. everything on it is lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, tj's dressing, & pickles or sliced pepperoncinis. they dont skimp out on the meat at all. it's a pretty hearty sandwich. needless to say, i'll be going here for my sandwich fix. read more

This is a pretty good place if your craving a sub. Better alternate than hitting up subway. Their bread is delish! I'm not really a huge fan of cold cuts but after trying their TJ sub, It definitely won me over. So far, I've tried most of their popular subs and they were all satisfying. I would usually place a big order with my coworkers so at times there were some orders mixed up. Other than that, I still recommend going to this place if you're craving a good sub. They have a large menu and other dishes other than subs but I would suggest trying out their popular subs first if you haven't been here. I've been coming to this great lil sandwhich shop since the 80's when my mom would bring me here. The have a huge selection of hot and cold sub sandwiches. Not only do the have subs they but they do fried seafood! Catfish is always tasty, the shrimp is cripsy, and the fries are nice and golden. They also offer teriyaki bowls and other stuff too. Customer service is horrible! Not sure if the cashier is the owner or just an employee, but she was RUDE! Yelled at my co-worker for grabbing the wrong sandwich. That's not all; she cut my co-workers sandwich into a small (measured it) because she mistakenly gave him a large. What did she do with the piece she cut off? TRASH!!! Just odd! I give it 3 stars because I'm a tough critic. These sandwiches are delicious. The bread is moist, fresh and the perfect balance of firm on the outside (not too firm) and fluffy on the inside. The pepperoncinis are perfect- sliced small and placed sparingly- just the right amount to add flavor but not be overpowering. Same with the red onion- perfect amount. I love tomato so I could always use more tomato personally. The deli meat is delicious but not the highest quality. My favorite sub is from Claro's Italian Deli but my work orders a long sub for the office and they go fast! Definitely wayyy better than Subway. read more
