A friend recently took me to Lucky City, a venue I hadn't visited in a decade. Its considerable distance from my residence may have contributed to my prolonged absence. However, a friend brought me there on a Saturday night, and it was packed with patrons. We sat down, but our food didn't arrive until an hour later. Upon arrival, I only enjoyed the fried shrimp. The orange beef was overly sweet, the tofu fish lacked flavor and was too hard. On a separate occasion, my mother ordered the seafood crispy noodle and soy sauce chicken, which were satisfactory. However, the seafood crispy noodle only included three small shrimp, mostly accompanied by imitation crabmeat. The flavor was acceptable, not overly salty. Nevertheless, I didn't appreciate the environment. Given the nature of the establishment, I didn't expect exceptional service. Will I return? Yes, I will, as the dishes were reasonably priced. They offer a promotion where you can choose three dishes and a soup for $40 or four dishes and a soup for $50.

Family of 7 outing and we decided to dine here on a weeknight. Upon entering we were seated pretty quick and order hot jasmine tea and family meal. It's a prefixed menu and it comes with soup, pork and chicken dishes, tofu, Peking duck with bun, stir fry veggies and mushrooms. The portion size is okay. The seasoning is good. I can't say it's the best Chinese food I've had especially when my hometown is NJ and I've dined in NY/NJ with many local mom pop good eats. However, given I'm on vacation, the food here is fine. The atmosphere here for sure is no difference than NY/NJ with people chatting, employees yelling at the chefs and servers and with occasional background noise of some clashing sound in the kitchen.

Love this place! Especially since Sun Lok Kee closed down, we need to support local authentic cantonese restaurant stern sure they stay open. Favorite dishes were Spicy pork chop, bbq pork and eggplant. Beef and broccoli was very slightly ovecooked and the fish tofu was hit and miss. Service was pretty typical. This place is popular so it's a pretty lively restaurant! Check it out!

Great place for Cantonese Chinese food especially if you are eating with a lot of people. Love the bbq meats! Wonderful meal to celebrate Lunar New Year

Fish fillet tofu hotpot, stir fry round bean with pork, roasted pork and duck, corn soup, and steam rice.

Cantonese restaurant. Price is low compared to other restaurants and yet their dishes are really tasty, authentic and makes you crave for more. Love coming to this restaurant over and over again.

My family and I came here for some Cantonese Chinese food. We have not had any for a while so coming here brought back memories and the ambiance of the Bay Area in California. The food was delicious, especially the Beef Chow Fun and the Roasted Duck. The service was good and our server was kind. The Crispy Noodle with Chicken was good was well. We do place to come again!

Happened to be in the area and decided to place an order to go. They are not open for dine in, to go orders only. Easy to order, waited about 30 minutes. This place had a steady flow of to go pick up. Ordered crab rangoons, eggrolls, BBQ pork and roast duck, shrimp wonton noodle soup, fried pork chops, house seafood crispy noodles, and beef flat noodles. OMG. Everything was delicious!!! Server was super nice. Gave me a menu and recommended I call in order next time so I don't have to wait. Told her I didn't mind since I happened to be in the area. Will definitely come back and try more things. Great fresh food!!!

And the food is authentic. Hot Hong Kong milk tea and French toast are my favorite breakfast items and that's exactly what I got. If I were in Hong Kong, I would get them in the morning. But I wouldn't mind having them any time of the day! The milk tea was great. I liked the aromatic, bold black tea. It was fairly creamy and smooth. The French toast was delicious also. Fried golden brown, it was toasty on the outside, and nutty, buttery (with peanut butter filling) on the inside. I liked the condensed milk drizzled on top, instead of syrup, which I normally use at home. They also have other Hong Kong style dishes, like the baked cutlet pork chop with rice, fish fillet in creamy white sauce, and iconic street foods like curry fish balls, radish, and pork rinds (yummy!) This place is fully decorated with so many Hong Kong street items, like the big wall pictures of busy, beautiful city views, signs of major streets, shop signs, etc. If you're not from Hong Kong, they may not mean too much to you. But if you are, they're invariably nostalgic. If you want a delightful experience of Hong Kong food and ambience, come give it a try.

We liked the beef flat noodles, texture was nice and beef was good. The pork chop was good and reminded me of eggs rice and ketchup as a kid. I have nothing to compare it to but I think from what I've heard similar to what you would have in an HK cafe. Overall solid option.

The menu is awesome, and my all time favorite is definitely their classic karaage chicken (so sad it hasn't been on the hh menu for a long time now). I recently tried their Tini Tuesdays and the lychee martini was fantastic. They also have an amazing happy hour menu with tons of food options, which is a perfect, budget-friendly way to try a little bit of everything. The space itself is great. There is plenty of seating inside, and the patio outside is so cute with its swinging chairs. It has a great vibe that works well for date nights, family gatherings, or just catching up with friends. The service style is super straightforward. Its open seating, you just order at the bar, take a pager tracker to your table, and they bring the food right out to you. It's incredibly easy, but the place does get packed. I highly recommend going a bit early to beat the dinner rush and grab a good spot!

My friend and I were craving Peking duck, so we decided to try it out. The reviews were promising,…read moreand I had heard that they carve the duck tableside. We arrived on a Wednesday evening around 7 p.m., and surprisingly, we were the only customers there, considering it was peak dinner time. We also discovered that we needed to pre-order the duck in advance. Luckily, the lady informed us that there was one available for us, but it would take about 30 minutes. We ordered the crispy cucumber salad, xiao long bao, and the dry-fried string beans. The dry-fried string beans were my favorite. The string beans had a delightful crisp texture and a flavorful taste. The cucumber salad was also good, but some parts were a bit soggy. The XLB skin was too thick and chewy, and it didn't taste like the usual soup dumplings, which was disappointing. I was excited for the duck, but I was honestly disappointed when it arrived. The portions were quite small, considering it was a whole duck. It wasn't carved tableside, which was a letdown. Some parts of the duck were dry, and the skin wasn't crispy enough. To add to the disappointment, they charge extra for almost everything. If you want more pancakes or their homemade duck sauce (which tasted like black bean sauce), you'll have to pay an additional $5. Another thing to note is that they are BYOB, so you can bring your own alcohol. However, the menu pictures on Yelp are outdated, and they only offer whole Peking duck, not half orders. Overall, the food was just okay, and I'll probably try a different spot when I'm in the mood for duck again.
