This is a lovely little joint in Bellevue! I'm a Starbucks-lover at heart, but wanted to take a break this week and explore other coffee shops in the area. T'latte is a wonderful hidden treasure amidst all the construction near Bellevue Downtown Park. It's a cozy joint with a quiet atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious lattes! I honestly liked their Pumpkin Spice Latte more than the Pumpkin Spice at Starbucks. Less syrupy, and more hints of spice. Only con is that there is a service charge for any credit card purchase below $5. Then again, nothing that can't be fixed with cash or a coffee partner. Will definitely come again! read more

Pros: great atmosphere for either hanging out or studying. Music is great and at the perfect level. Matcha latte is great (I got mine iced). Smoked Salmon sandwich was like any other smoked salmon sandwich, so it was tasty. Dog friendly!!! Good customer service. Cons: Their T'latte (chai) tastes like powdered milk with a little black tea?!? Would never get again. Their sandwich is really small, especially for the price. Parking is hard to find nearby, but easy to get to by bus with a little walking. Their boba has no bite to it and is just mushy :( Overall: May come back again for the atmosphere and maybe the matcha latte, but worried to try the other drinks. read more

I saw the reviews and stopped in. Mainly because DTB was closed on a freaking Saturday! I got the passion fruit bubble tea. They ran out of boba but had fruit jelly. When I first sipped it, I thought it was a bit off. However the more I drank it, the more I enjoyed it. My wife got a ginger green tea something something and said too much was going on in the drink. I am addicted to this place! Since my first Honey Green Tea Lemonade, I've been coming back several times per week. I've since converted to the "Emily", which is a slightly less sweet version of the honey green tea lemonade. I get it with boba, which is always the right amount of chewy. This is a cute little coffee shop with free parking and wifi, and you can usually find somewhere to sit. My only complaint is that the prices are high and they don't accept credit cards for purchases less than $5, and they don't accept American Express. Highly recommend it for the flavorful tea/lemonade though. I've tried to duplicate it at home and can't come close. read more

Nice little shop. Kinda hidden if you don't know where it is. It's a great place to stop in for coffee either before or after spending a little time at the Bellevue Park across the street. T'Latte is a very cozy little coffee shop that regularly hosts solo artist exhibitions. Sometimes the art in here is great! And sometimes, not so much. Regardless of the artwork, the people who work here are all very friendly and professional. And best of all, they make GREAT coffee. Caffe Vita if I'm not mistaken. I was running on empty when I parked in front of T'Latte - and I don't mean my car. I was STARVING and in desperate need of a caffeine hit. The girls at T'Latte were super sweet and very upbeat. I asked for their suggestion for a coffee alternative that was still a "latte" and had caffeine - adding that usually chai was my drink of choice but wondered if they had anything more interesting. They suggested their "buckwheat tea" latte explaining that it was a lot like chai. I figured I'd try it. I was also happy to see that they made sandwiches fresh to order - so I asked for turkey on a wheat bagel. I am always so sad when coffee shops only over sweet items and no savory. Everything was prepared promptly (my bagel was even toasted- yum) and they didn't forget I wanted it to-go. The latte was super hot and I ended up burning the roof of my mouth, but even that couldn't put a damper on my quick, fresh delicious snack - all for under $10. This place has awful bubble teas...the tea doesn't taste great, and the bubble too tough without any taste. You're supposed to soak it in sugar syrup after they are cooked so they get some flavor! My favorite place to have coffee in Bellevue. Tucked away. Unique. I meet new and old friends here all the time. Can't believe I haven't wrote a review yet. I love the honey green tea lemonade and have turned several people on to the ginger pear d'lite latte (and I'm not a big ginger fan but THIS is a tasty treat!). Sometimes it's quiet, other times there are circles of women, moms with their kids, young adults, or a gentlemen in the corner reading the paper enjoying his drink du jour. It was 1:15, my coworkers and I had just finished lunch at Jimmy John's, and weren't too eager to go back to the office. One of my coworkers suggested we grab some coffee. I pulled out my Droid and Yelped up some nearby shops. T'Latte was the first one to pop up and was right around the corner. All I really know about coffee quality is that Starbucks is crap. I am not a connoisseur by any means. Nevertheless, T'Latte strikes me as a high quality place. Instead of blaring hipster music, we were treated to some quietly playing Spandau Ballet. In fact, everything about this place is quiet. The patrons keep their voices down, the baristas are reading when not making drinks, and even the floor is carpeted. It all adds up to a relaxing, homey experience: a far cry from the office you probably just escaped from. I ordered a grande hot mocha, which comes served in a nice big ceramic mug on a plate. I plopped down with my mates in a comfy chair near the window. The mocha was aromatic and thick, a real candidate for a comfort drink. This is what I'd order if I had just walked in from a Seattle shower. This is the perfect place to escape the nine-to-five, and a much better coffee shop to study or read in than a Starbucks. read more

This is a review for their bubble tea. What the flip did I drink? I was in the area, and wanted some bubble tea. This was the only place open and it looked nice, so why not? Got a cold taro tea. I didn't see what they exactly put in the blender, but I'm guessing just the bubble tea powder and ice. The tea was watery, and every sip had a horrible powder flavor. Usually bubble tea for me goes from "It's not bad" to "AAAMMAZZZINNGG", but this stuff was awful. The worst bubble tea I've ever had. I would probably just stick to the coffee here. The bubble tea. Note to J.L. M.: I'm not a huge fan of T'Latte for various reasons, however, the cups at Starbucks are shaped differently than most other coffee shops, and may seem bigger than others, even though they're exactly the same. I'm sure this was done on purpose. You can test it out yourself. At T'Latte, the Short cups are exactly 8 oz, the Tall cups are exactly 12 oz, the Grande cups are exactly 16 oz, and the Venti cups are exactly 20 oz. The iced cups come in exactly 16 oz and 24 oz. Also, a 50 cent fee is not ideal, but it does not neglect any agreement with the CC companies, many businesses run by foreigners have either a fee or a minimum, unfortunately. And lastly, the food choices certainly are limited, mostly because this a tea house (and most tea houses don't carry food at all). The choices are limited because each item is baked and delivered each morning and they don't use day-olds. Only fresh-baked. A pretty limited supply is ordered for each day and once they run out, it's out until the next morning. Popular items go quickly, obviously. Healthier choices are available, but limited. You may order yogurt, fruit, various types of bagels with cream cheese, and several different kinds of sandwiches that are made to order. All of these items are either listed or displayed, so if you didn't see any of them, it is possible that you were not looking very hard. I don't mean to advocate for T'Latte, there are certainly things that need to change around there, you just didn't list any of them. read more

(The other good one is over by the library) We need more places like this that are NOT chains ....Tully's isn't bad, but come on! Why do I have to go to Kirkland for variety? Tucked behind an Italian deli in "Old Bellevue" next to the Bellevue Bridal boutique, this is a cute and cozy getaway that's perfect for studying or for some tea before a walk around the downtown park or the mall. Parking is kind of weird and this place is a little out of the way, so there is almost nobody there - I've never had to wait in line. Try the Tea Latte - it's FANTASTIC and has plenty of caffeine, but has that soothing effect that barley teas or roasted brown rice teas have. Their coffees are delicious as well, not too acidic... and they have boba! What a nice place to spend a lunch hour reading a book. (: The only thing is - bring cash. Its conveniently close to the heart of downtown Bellevue. Parking is relatively easy to find. If you want to take a nice break, this tea/coffee shop can offer you all the that. I would say that the space is great. Its clean, air-conditioned, and not too busy so you'll be able to find a seat. I guess the reason why I wouldn't come back here is because of their drink. I ordered to matcha green tea iced drink and it was not very good. The matcha wasn't blended properly throughout and it just tasted like powder upon my initial sip. Instead, it was kind of gritty and bitter. I have had good matcha iced drinks where its blended nicely with a creamy texture. This was just not very tasty at all. I thought the prices were a little bit higher than other coffee shops too. For a below par drink and for the price, I don't think I would come here again. read more

Refreshingly quiet coffee shop atmosphere. Granted I went on a sunny Sunday afternoon but i swear it was quieter than the library there. I ordered the iced t'latte which I read reviews saying it was supposed to be a chai but it tasted more like a milk tea (like the kind you would order at a bubble tea place). I'm not sure if they got my order wrong or if the chais I've had are a little spicier but either way I liked it and would definitely order it again. Will have to try the macarons next time. They're way cheaper than the $1.25/cookie ones around the corner from Belle. Edit: got a chance to try the macarons today. For a few cents, definitely worth it. Go for the mocha flavored one. Located in Old Bellevue, this tea shop offers a small selection of pastries and macaroons as well as their signature drink: Tea Lattes, as the name suggests. I should have known better when ordering anything with the word "Pearls" in it, especially when they have Boba tea. But I thought it simply implied the Jasmine Pearls in the green tea I love so much. I ordered the Honey Jasmine Pearl Green Tea Latte. It was very good...until I got to the bottom when I noticed the black, slimy "pearls"....at which point I threw it out. One star left off for the mugginess; you could cut the air with a knife. I've never been in any coffee/tea establishment with such a moist atmosphere. Plus there was a fridge that looked like the one I had at home....not professional, as well as two or three air purifiers in the corner. One star left off for the looped soundtrack. Just don't go here. Thai tea was so sweet and just tasted like milk. Bubble tea had weird separations from milk, it left residue on my cup all white crumbles like cheese. Inside was so messy with lots of leaves on the floor, and they had 3 people working with no customers, they could at least clean up and educate themselves a little more on how to make their drinks better. I would move to Bellevue for this place. Cozy, yes- not in the mass-produced-Starbucks kind of way, but in the little-mom-and- pop-shop-on-the-corner kind of way. Warm and lovely. My boyfriend and I strolled in on a cold afternoon and ordered a Jasmine Honey Pearl tea latte and a Honey Ginger Pear Delight. Delight is an understatement. Both drinks were so delicious- like desserts in a mug. The Jasmine drink had tapioca in the bottom, which added a nice flavor to the floral jasmine and sweet honey. The ginger drink was slightly less sweet but also very good. It was served very hot. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone. But I'd tell them to order something unconventional that is difficult to get at other places. T'latte is very creative, so take advantage! read more

We went on a cozy sunday afternoon and the cafe was pretty empty, just about one or two tables occupied. I've been to T'Latte only a couple times before moving into the building T'latte is in. I used to get the honey green tea lemonade on hot sunny days, and that was always quite refreshing. When I moved into Borgata Apartments, autumn was already upon us, so I decided to go for something hot. Saw Jasmine Honey Pearl on the menu and ordered it hot. I accidentally ordered it a size larger than I wanted to, but thank goodness I did! Oh Em Gee. I have found my go-to drink. It is milky smooth goodness with the perfectly cooked and sweetened pearls? I crave this every single day. Just a couple tiny downsides to this place: Pretty pricy, so it's something I would get on occasion but definitely not daily. The food seems a bit expensive as well, but I've never tried it so maybe it is worth the price. This place can also get crowded at times but it's not as noisy as a Starbucks, so it's a great place to relax with a friend or study. I personally like Honey Jasmin Tea Latte with tapioca. They have blended flavored bubble tea, but also flavored milk tea! Passion fruit or peach is great for milk tea. As the Bellevue downtown gets more crowdy and constructions are all over across, you don't find any cozy place like T latte. Do not just come to pick up drinks. Bring your stuff like laptops or books and then stay at least 30 minutes. You will find the reason why I love this place so much. (Also, Bellevue park is right next to it!) Quiet other than conversations for others. Coffee is good and fair priced. I do like how they have bubble tea as sometimes I'm just not in coffee mood. I like how it's right next door to Massage Center of Bellevue so it's perfect for a nice tea right before/after a good massage. read more

T'latte is a very cute and cozy cafe tucked away in downtown Bellevue! My best friend introduced me to this place and am so glad she did! When I order bubble tea from other places, I always get the original black tea with tapioca. However, my best friend suggested I get the Jasmine Honey Pearl - DELICIOUS! Many of their drinks, including this one, comes in both hot and cold, and I've tried both hot and cold. The hot is a little better but the cold is still very delicious and tasty! There are very few cons to this place... The prices are a little higher than I'm used to when getting bubble tea. Also, parking can be a little problematic at times. There are few parking spots outside the cafe, so if you can't find a parking spot there, I would recommend parking at Bellevue Park. Overall, a very cozy cafe to meet up with family and friends for coffee/tea/afternoon snack! read more

Lovely place if you are trying to get work done! I work in downtown Bellevue, but spend very little time in Old Bellevue. I typically don't work out of coffee shops much these days, but when I was stuck in Bellevue and not in the mood for the umpteenth Starbucks' locations, I found T'Latte and was impressed by its appeal to tea drinkers (Usually coffee is the main star, with tea as the trusty sidekick that everyone forgets). I got a matcha tea latte with almond milk and a salted caramel macaroon. The matcha tea was high quality, not loaded with sugar like most green tea lattes, and had a nice grassy flavor. The macaroon was solid, but I suspect they are from the freezer (Nothing wrong with that! I just have memories of Laduree and Pierre Hermes in Paris). With my "fuel" in hand I immediately got to work and before I knew it, I had wrangled a Wordpress site successfully. Wifi was a bit spotty (I had to reconnect every hour, and it got worse as more people trickled in), but I had gotten done exactly what I came to do...without being disturbed by wayward conversations about peoples' divorce settlements or listening to teenagers studying biology. Everyone was super respectful about keeping a decent noise level, and the table and chairs are comfortable. I haven't found a decent coffee shop to work at since the closing of my beloved Laughing Ladies Cafe in Shoreline, but I suspect T'Latte will fill the void just fine (Albeit a little farther away from home than I'd like it to be). I will have to come back and try more things (And maybe convince my office to let me work remote every once in a while...not really, but a girl can wish!). If anything, I'm just relieved there's a place to get bubble tea at that's much closer to my office than the place at Crossroads. read more

Wanted a bite and some coffee to wander through Downtown Park. Left feeling underwhelmed and overcharged. Just a pet peeve here...if you're sandwich is listed as $7.50 on your price sheet, and I get charged $8.50 for it on my receipt (plus the extra I had to pay for cream cheese) something is wrong. The price sheet is literally a piece of paper in a plastic protector, it shouldn't be hard to update if you change your prices. I'm not going to raise a fuss over a dollar, but it's just poor business. My sandwich was okay and the coffee was good, but for a $13 lunch I feel my money is better spent elsewhere. read more

T'Latte is my favorite coffee house by far. I have been going for many years and look forward to coming home from college and heading over to get my latte. The staff tries hard to please and if you purchase a drink, you get their free wi-fi. The shop is so homey and eclectic - just has a great vibe. Parking is usually not too hard to find and it is free. Yes, there is a $5 minimum on debit/credit. But, I have never felt that is an issue because they have nice pastries and other products than coffee or tea if I only have my credit card. read more
