Took my in-laws, who live a town over, to enjoy breakfast together. We ordered chicken friend steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy, eggs and bacon and pancakes. We all thought the food was super tasty right down to the potatoes. The gravy and potatoes are all seasoned very well. There is nothing bland at this spot. The pancakes were fluffy, light and had great flavor no bland flour tasty pancakes here. There was a wait and they have no waiting area so be sure to do the wait list feature through Yelp. They did have coffee for the folks waiting outside which was a splendid surprise. Parking is also limited so be sure to carpool and prepare for a little walk. We will be back...4 new fans! read more

I'll start out by saying I'm not picky, I'm just giving my opinion of the food. If you look at my other reviews, you'd see I don't criticize places very much. I just want to give my feelings about the place. The food was good, but not the best. The chilaquiles had a good crisp of the chips, the only thing that wasn't great about it was that there wasn't a whole lot of flavor. It was just good. I got the regular eggs Benedict. The Prosciutto was really salty and kind of tough. We got an order of the green Chile fries, the flavor was good, just had no spice (which is fine, I expect that basically everywhere other than NM haha). I ordered a chai latte, this was good, good temperature, but still not a whole lot of flavor. Over all, the food was alright, but not the best. Wasn't super expensive, but did cost around $45 for two of us. Still recommend coming here. Portions are pretty big and the pancakes look amazing! Will have to come back again to try the pancakes! read more

I Like This Place...Lots... Does that make me some sort of yuppie hipster? Regardless I like the interesting flavors and presentation of the breakfast food. I love the Santa Fe French Toast. The Chi Tea French Toast tastes exactly like a cup of delicious Chai Tea...Awesome! And the Carrot Cake Pancakes are good as well. They have the best house coffee!! I really like this place. I have been here only for lunch a few times and was just pleased with the food. The staff is in their own worlds, probably because the place is super busy all the time. There is not personal service however not bad service. The parking can be tough if its really busy. I have tried to get my wife in there on a weekend to no avail due to how busy it is. read more

The service was great, they were quick to seat us and the food came out shortly after we ordered. I ordered the Kansas City omelette, nothing fancy, and it was adequate. The wheat toast that came with it was good, but drenched in butter. My brother had the breakfast burrito, which comes smothered in green sauce. Coming back from a skiing weekend in breckenridge, colorado with the family, our family that lives here in denver suggested we stopped by toast for brunch before heading to airport and back home. there was a lot of amazing choices to choose from on the menu, and I was in the mood for eggs benedict which is what I got. This is likely one of the restaurants where the best menu items are the unusual ones or the special flavors. My mom ordered the regular French toast, and it was nothing special, wasn't very sweet and the texture was almost a sourdough bread. Yes, I am a fan. Of the food that is... and the service was awesome but the room echoes like the freakin Grand Canyon. It's really loud in there. Anyway.. I ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict. It was wonderful! The salmon does take over a lot of the flavor of the dish, but it's a good smoked salmon. The hollandaise sauce is one of the better tasting ones that I've had but it was really thick and had a sweet citrus taste. I had the crème brulee latte to drink, and wow! Very good, but very rich. I had the server fill the cup up with black coffee about half way through to tone it down a bit, which was her suggestion when I ordered it, and she was absolutely right. read more

TOAST is a strange twilight zone of a place. First and foremost, the food is outstanding. Portions are so large that I would expect to see them in Missouri or somewhere that the natives eat very unhealthy - but it's really good. HOWEVER... The service at TOAST is atrocious. I was taken back the first time I went there by the rudeness and indifference of the staff, and I realized after my second visit that this is just how they are here. I only visit TOAST about once a year now, despite living 1/2 mile away, and when I go I prepare myself for ridiculously POOR service. I had a little fun with it on my last visit - after the waiter kicked my chair and didnt apologize, tossed down plates and drinks on the table, and finally THREW my straw at me, I picked the straw up and threw it right back at him - much to the amusement of other patrons whom had witnissed it.. TOAST has good food, but that's it. The attitude of the owners and staff are the some of the worst I've seen in the business. The food ALMOST makes up for it, but not really. Positives 1. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and Toast is probably tied for my favorite with Café Terra-cotta for my favorite breakfast brunch placein the Littleton area. 2. They serve Nova coffee and it is fantastic! I would give it an 8/10. 3. Sourdough toast is amazing! Drawbacks 1. When it is busy, which is most of the time, it can get very loud. Irony is not often associated with food but when the restaurant is named Toast and they don't toast the muffin for their eggs Benedict I have to comment. I've never worked in a restaurant but I know they have something called a flat top. Seems like that's what they might be using for the muffins. They were tough and leathery on the bottom yet untoasted on the top. Thankfully they provided a steak knife to cut it with. I've had a lot of good meals at Toast but this one was pretty bad. read more

Toast is doing it's absolute best and trying to make it in a world that is making it exceptionally hard right now. That being said, don't trust the ordering system for pick up on yelp/grubhub at all. We ordered for pickup because it's breakfast food and would die quickly so we prepared to eat in the car, got there 30 minutes early before the pickup time assigned to us, went inside at the exact time when it was supposed to be ready per the app, and the food was barely luke warm to cold, and it was super disappointing. Not the greatest start to a birthday in the pandemic. As I said earlier, Toast was SO ON TOP OF THEIR JOB, I have no doubt that when it was plated in the to go that it was fantastic and they're rolling with the punches. Use the outside COVID safe patio, or don't trust the yelp ordering system AT ALL and go inside to check the second you get here. $40 wasted but that's the online fault, not Toast's, hence the 5 star review. read more

The server was friendly, attentive, and chatty about the restaurant. Coffee, hot chocolate, and Chai were all big hits at our table. My son had Chai-infused French Toast which I sampled - these were awesome. I had the Berry French Toast. Very tasty although the berries and creme tended to cool-off the french toast too quickly. My youngest son had oreo cookie pancakes (they have this on the kids menu and adult menu). My wife had Eggs Blackstone, a spicier version of eggs benedict with pepper/marinated bacon. The eggs and some avocado helped to balance the heat of the dish. Overall the food was great! Lots of cute toast-shaped artwork on the walls. Con: the main dining room was really loud, it was difficult to hold a conversation without raising your voice. I have been in louder dining areas for dinner but in terms of breakfast/brunch places, this was the loudest. read more

This place has unique breakfast dishes. My first time here it blew me away. The second time my chicken was burnt to a crisp. My third my burrito was topped by cold green chili and luke warm. My wife and I stopped in on a Saturday morning. The hostess said the wait was at least 15 minutes but we could take the worst table in the house by the door right away. We opted for the quick seating. The server was a little hard to understand but quick and friendly. The coffee was strong, my omelet smothered in green chili was excellent, the potaoes were the best and my wife loved the fluffy pancakes. The only draw back was the price. Visiting family in South part of Denver and was told that this place was good so gave it a try. Went there for breakfast. Their food is unique but extremely tasty. Had to wait a few minutes for a table but it was worth it. Pros: Great food, great staff, great service, very clean and new. Well managed facility. Cons: They could use a bigger building as popular as this place is. You want cheep food that tastes like card board, there is lots of fast foods around or go to Village Inn.
