I love this quaint little breakfast joint. As a breakfast food connoisseur, I scope out the best Eggs Benni, French Toast, and Scrambles around, and this place takes the cake. Seriously? Eggs Benedict with Filet Mignon? YES PLEASE! Delicious and always cooked to the perfect temperature. And they're Crab Cake Eggs Benni is pretty awesome too. The potatoes they serve with most dishes have delicious seasoning and I alway take them home for a good snack later. The coffee here is also excellent, and we've always had great service. Not sure why this place gets such rave reviews. I have been here 3 times now. The first, several years ago, was pretty good. The second was terrible. The last was mediocre at best. I wouldn't have gone again but when you have a hungry kid craving pancakes at 11, it's about your only option. We ordered a crab cake Benedict, banana pancakes, hot chocolate and a cappuccino. The Benedict was gross! Maj fishy. I ended up leaving the crab and just eating the egg. The cappuccino was awful too, over the top sweet, nothing like a cappuccino should be. The banana pancakes and hot chocolate were a hot though lol Service here is pretty bad too. Due to their location and our very limited breakfast options, they are always packed and the customers are squeezed in like sardines. We didn't even get a "how is everything" check in. Definitely not going back, no matter how hungry. I'll make the drive to Maddie's or the Urban Egg. read more

Came in for breakfast at the recommendation of a friend. Service was perfectly fine, thought the tight seating (on what apparently was the coffee shop side) made it a bit awkward- more than a few times I thought my bacon would get booty-bumped! I order the peach/berry pancakes. HUGE stack. The peach/berry mixture on top had a great flavor- and thank goodness because the pancakes themselves didn't really taste like anything. I also ordered a side of bacon... which was pretty sad looking. Three pieces of really greasy bacon and they were soggy. Some people like their bacon a bit softer, I get it- but I am not one of them. My friend got the Santa fe French toast, which she enjoyed very much. I swear though, that one meal could have fed 4 people. Their portions are completely out of control. Even with my pancakes it looked like I'd only taken three bites when I was full. (Now had they brought me that kind of portion for my side of bacon, I may have left happier!) I'm not sure what happened to the Toast I loved. It certainly wasn't present today at lunch. Our server bordered on rude, the food was cold and appeared to be left from earlier. My grandsons french toast was obviously microwaved, the crust was too tough to cut. I've never had a bad experience at their old location. I'm diabetic and was waiting (tip to all, use the waitlist feature in Yelp!) and the staff was so nice!!! They gave me OJ and said "here, drink this!"...They were so sweet and nice about it. All I did was ask where we were on the waitlist. Then I got my iced coffee and waited in the shade on a bench in the nice breeze and happily waited my turn! I have been twice now, both at prime time after-church-lunch rush. Both parties of four visits took 30-40 minutes to get seated. We learned from our prior mistake of sitting hungry for half and hour and visited "dirt coffee bar" during out wait. (Great too). The food is EXCELLENT at toast. Banana Foster French Toast- HUGE portion. I would Highly recommend sharing with someone. Blueberry lemon short stack- similar to lemon air head candy which I love. Soooooo good! I was rather pleased with my first experience here. Service was friendly and attentive even with a busy Saturday crowd. We were seated within 10 minutes (there's a back room, it's bigger than you think!). I ordered the honey fried chicken and pancakes... Sweet and savory had a passionate love affair and gave birth to this awesome creation. This dish goes to prove that you can indeed mix all the things you love. You have a crispy fried chicken, topped with a fried egg, 2 strips of bacon and country gravy mash potatoes, sandwiched between 2 fluffy pancakes. This is a plate worth sharing because things get a little soggy if left too long. It's a pretty heavy dish. The dish cost $15 but it easily feeds 2 people. All the dishes we had were between $13-15 (a little on the expensive side) but the portions were quite large. The kids' menu has great variety and my 5 year old cleaned a large plate of bacon, eggs, potatoes and toast. Everyone in our group seemed satisfied with their meals (corn beef hash Benedict and salmon omelette). I will definitely return to see if this is my 5 star brunch spot. read more

I would drive all the way across town for breakfast or lunch here. Snooze tries to be Toast but never measures up. Try the lemon blueberry ginger snap pancakes, carnitas Benedict, or anything with their breakfast potatoes and green chili. We have eaten here quite a few times . Food has been great about half of the time. They need to do some sound proofing or echo blocking in their back room because it is uncomfortable to sit back there when it's busy cause they sound of everyone talking and music just gives you a headache it's so loud. They do have a unique variety on the menu, not all super cheap but lots of good choices. I do like that they serve local coffee, but they do not offer any type of milk alternative like almond or coconut which seems strange to me . I would probably go there more if they offered milk alternatives. They do not have gluten free pancakes. They do have huge pancakes and lots of flavor choices. They put my baby's high chair in a very unsafe walking Isle where their servers and food delivery walks fast down. One almost threw my baby onto the ground running into the high chair. Very scary moment for me and such an unsafe decision by the restaurant. I even asked them about seating us there when they did but they were busy and just said it was ok. Guess not! read more

I came to this restaurant and stumbled upon a little town that I had no idea existed. In the vicinity there's a ViewHouse. I was totally blown away. I definitely want to come back to this area to explore. As far as Toast, I was really happy about getting the chance to get on the wait list via yelp. By the time I got to the restaurant, I only had to wait another 15 minutes. After being seated, I could tell that this restaurant is super fast. You can tell that the staff truly work together as a team. Servers are filling waters, dropping plates, swiping cards - pure hustling. I definitely respected this quick environment. I ordered the fried chicken and biscuits. Super delicious and a generous portion. The potatoes were deliciously seasoned. I did not finish my food, but I definitely asked for a box. Visited some friends in Littleton, and they took us here one morning for brunch. Located on a busy street in an unassuming building, you would not think much of this place. But drive by and you'll notice the line of people waiting to get in and cars circling the very small (and crowded) parking lot. Fortunately, we only had to wait about 15 minutes, which is my maximum time for waiting since I'm quite impatient. The best part of the meal was the GIANT cinnamon roll. Drenched in frosting, it was hot and gooey, and gone before we could say "cinnamon roll". I ordered the corned beef hash benedict. What I expected: tender pieces of hash piled high on two english muffins and poached eggs. Unfortunately, the eggs were a little overcooked, but overall a good dish. The reason I give this place 3 stars is because I have had better poached eggs, but I would definitely come back and try their famous pancakes. read more

I'm not sure if this place was having a bad day or what, but the experience did not match up to the reviews we read. - Dirty greasy forks - Coffee cups had white dust flecks floating in it. - When we requested fresh coffee cups, the waiter Pedro told us the flecks were grounds, walked our cups to the bus station in the corner of the room and them brought the same cups of coffee back with the same stuff floating in it, telling us they were grounds. Grounds generally aren't white/grey. - Salt shaker was smeared with what looked like mashed potatoes. Even after cleaning it the holes were blocked up. - Potatoes were chewy and undercooked. The chilaquiles were good though, the toast was tasty, and after the coffee failure the lattes we were upsold on to avoid "grounds" were ok too. read more

Toast is a small, no fuss spot with about 15 tables. The menu has great variety to choose from, and not shortage of options for carb lovers! I ordered the corned beef hash. It was AMAZING!! We went here for breakfast every morning during our trip to Denver. The prices were reasonable, the food, AND coffee were amazing! My fiancé got the Poutine and the chorizo omelet and I got the avocado toast both days. All three dishes were phenomenal and kept us full until dinner. Usually, we expect the coffee to suck at places like these but the coffee was strong! In addition to regular coffee, we got a raspberry white mocha and it was so sweet and delicious!
