Between 3 and 4 so rating up - toast was a cute little place. More of your typical breakfast place (some items could be a little pricier than expected but ya know .. today's economy). Anyways, the toast did look good in pictures but the crème brûlée (the one we got) fell a little flat , I'd probably try the tiramisu one. Staff was super nice and quick! Wait times also weren't too bad which is great when you ar hungry for brunch!
Went here last weekend to celebrate my friend's birthday with a group of 8 (plus a toddler!) the day before Mother's Day, so we already expected a wait. We called ahead and were quoted about an hour, but ended up waiting closer to 2 hours after checking in. Honestly though, with the holiday weekend and our big group, we understood. While waiting outside, they had Jenga and Connect 4 set up, which was a nice touch and definitely helped pass the time. The restaurant itself had a lively brunch atmosphere and was clearly packed all morning. Once we got seated, our server Ryan took care of us right away. She got our drinks and food orders in quickly, and honestly the turnaround time for everything was surprisingly fast considering how busy it was. Ryan was super fun, attentive, and really matched the energy of our group. She even brought out a little birthday treat for my friend, which was sweet! My friend and I both ordered the "life size" mimosas -- which isn't shocking because of the glass size, but because it's basically a whole bottle of champagne LOL. Huge shoutout to Ryan for recommending the freshly squeezed orange juice because it balanced everything perfectly and wasn't overly sweet at all. I ordered the Mind Your Own Biscuits & Gravy. Solid, classic brunch dish, and the hash browns had an amazing crunch to them. Overall, pretty standard brunch food, but the great service from Ryan really made the experience enjoyable!
Wait is long so remember to join waitlist well before you visit the restaurant. We joined the waitlist around 30 minutes before we arrived and then wait for another 40 minutes onsite. The service is attentive and friendly. Food is really yummy with HUGE portions especially the potatoes. I'd recommend getting a patio seating because the inside is a bit humid and stuffy maybe due to the semi open kitchen.
My experience at Toast was a great one. I made a last-minute reservation for a large party, and the hostess worked with me to secure a reservation close to the time we originally wanted and get us seated in a timely manner. They did seat us separately, which wasn't what we would have preferred; however, we understand that the reservation was made last minute and we were also on a time crunch, so getting seated quickly was a priority. I know it's not easy accommodating a large group, especially on a busy day, and given our time constraints, I was initially nervous about whether we would be seated and served on time. However, the staff was organized, patient, and friendly throughout, and everything ran smoothly. Despite how busy it was, we received our food promptly, and everything came out well-presented and delicious. The chilaquiles were especially flavorful, and the egg omelet and potatoes were also excellent. Our group also ordered the Korean ribs, which were very tasty, and the French toast as well! For drinks, our group wasn't a big fan of the iced coffee, and the mimosa flights were a bit too sweet for my personal preference. I only really enjoyed two out of the four options. That said, they were beautifully presented and very photogenic. One thing we really appreciated was that they accommodated separate checks for such a large group, which made paying much more convenient. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It is on the smaller side, but they still managed to accommodate our group comfortably. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I'd definitely consider returning.
Well, here's a toast to Toast!! Me and two friends came here because we were looking for a good brunch spot when passing thru Temecula. We came here because of the good reviews on Yelp, so I thought I would add my own to the menagerie! They were able to seat us on a Friday morning right away and I believe this is because they also have a lovely heated, outdoor seating area. We were very comfortable and happy to enjoy the ambiance outside. I had to try their rose matcha and I was so very pleased with both the presentation and taste. It looked and tasted special, especially with the dried rose garnish. Another unique menu item was the Reuben Benedict. Corned beef is a very big favorite of mine, as is hollandaise sauce and a poached egg. All of it came together beautifully and really deliciously too. The choice of cheese was a very good accompaniment. I got the Parmesan potatoes and they were really tasty too, I did add my own salt, but that was fine because all the other tastes and textures were on point! A special breakfast that was worth a couple extra dollars! For me it's either diner food for breakfast or a special brunch and this fell into the special brunch category and they did a wonderful job. Saturday, 6-07-2025: This review is so overdue! This eatery isn't very big but they did have outdoor seating in their spacious side patio. It's a very casual and relaxing ambiance. We had a big group and I was grateful they could accommodate all of us. Of course, I made reservations. This was a nice meet up with our dear family & friends. I do recall we all enjoyed the food and truly appreciated the attentive and absolute care that two servers gave to our large party. We would definitely return. We were impressed with their food and customer service.
I've been wanting to try this place for a few months now and we were finally able to make it in today. No wait time which was great of course even though they were steadily busy. I bet this place gets insanely busy on the weekends, but it looks like there is the option to join via the Yelp waitlist & I love that. Inside is cute, I really like the booths and their design. There is a one stall restroom for everyone to use, but it was kept pretty tidy so that was great to see. Our food was pretty good, I love corned beef so the Reuben Benedict was perfect, one of us got hash browns and the other go the pecorino potatoes. The pecorino potatoes were good, I think they needed salt in my opinion and they would have been perfect. The portion size was pretty big. I am a big eater and I struggled to finish my food. The crème brûlée french toast was good too. I wasn't a huge fan of the custard in the middle though, there was a lot of it and it was just a bit thick in my opinion. The bread and the syrup with the fresh strawberry were delicious though. I'm excited to come back again and try more menu items. Highly recommend this spot for a brunch outing.
While in town, I wanted to try this spot for brunch with family and compare to the location or version of it that we have in NY. It didn't disappoint. The menu wasn't overwhelming but had more than enough choices. I probably had the best shrimp and grits in my life so far here. It's a must have if you like shrimp and grits. They have indoor and patio seating which is nice and service was really good even though they were busy for a weekday brunch meal. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the Temecula area.
Great breakfast spot. We secured our place in line through their online booking system, nice and easy. Arrived around 10:30 am and it was very crowded, but we had our reservation so we only waited 10 minutes. They have indoor and fully covered outdoor seating. Nice shaded benches for these waiting. Parking wasn't hard to find. A lot of families and people with celebrations making this place an energetic atmosphere. The food and drinks were very delicious. My sister had the chilaquilles and I had the fried chicken yum! The biscuits that came with the fried chicken looked home made and we awesome, so we're the potatoes and gravy.
First time trying this place since moving out here. I have to say it's probably the worst place I've tried so far . I love food and I hardly ever leave almost a full plate behind but the salsa on these chilaquiles tasted days old and not fresh. I couldn't even eat the meat it had such a bad smell and nothing on my plate tasted fresh. This plate was recommended by the server and said they tasted pretty authentic, I can confirm nothing on this plate tasted authentic. I really did try my best to eat it because I wanted to love it but I just couldn't! Even My son got a burrito and his bell peppers also didn't taste fresh or his salsa. A complete waste of 50 dollars for this experience. The only thing I can say is the servers and hostess have good service other than that I will never waste my money on this place again.
We had a pleasant breakfast this morning at Toast. The cookies and cream cold brew was very sweet and chocolatey for the chocolate lovers. So good. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I don't think there's anything you could try on the menu that wouldn't be delicious. It's a great place to come and have a nice breakfast. We will be back!
First time ever coming to this location since the Murrieta one near me is still closed. The hostess was friendly and we were greeted and seated quickly, opted for the patio seating and the hostess turned on the heater for us since it was still cool in the AM. I ordered an iced toasted coconut latte (unfortunately, not as good as the Murrieta location, it was very watered down) and then the Aloha Bowl which I don't ever remember seeing these bowls on the menu and it seemed to be a twist on a Loco Moco. We have a hard time finding Portuguese sausage, so I was very excited except the rice was undercooked (hard and crunchy) and while I was not asked how I wanted my burger cooked, I am okay with medium rare, but my patty was borderline raw. I thought I wouldn't like the pineapple mixed in with the gravy, but the pieces were so tiny, it was almost non existent. The service was decent, although our waitress only checked in on us once during our whole visit until it was time to drop off the check. It was a so-so visit overall, but I can't wait for our Murrieta location to reopen again!
My wife and I went here yesterday, sat down and the environment was literally so loud that you could not even hear each other talk and the noise level was enough to set off the alert on my iWatch. If you don't like a very loud atmosphere I would not recommend coming. We ended up leaving without ordering food. read more

I came here with 6 people and my dog so we were seated outside. We were seated towards the middle so it was a little tight but my dog was comfortable under the table. I was surprised how delicious the brunch food was! My so and I shared the shrimp grits and crème brûlée French toast. The grits also had sausage and were super flavorful. The French toast was fluffy and it felt similar to a bread pudding. Overall I highly recommend! read more

This was a cool little brunch spot my cousin said that her and all her friends frequently visited. Super packed. Had to wait in line for 10 mins to use the restroom but the food was great. I had the Korean short ribs. They could have used a bit more char on the grill and the sauce they was accompanying the ribs was kinda salty but overall I enjoyed it. I also had the tiramisu French toast and I didn't really get tiramisu but it was good French toast. We had a shared plate of the sweet potato Pancakes and they were 5 star. I saw several things on the menu that sounded amazing. I'll surly come back when I visit in the spring. read more

Our first time here- very convenient to add the name to the waitlist in advance so didn't have a long wait even on a Sunday. The seating on the outside patio was nice and cute (only downside the chairs make a lot of noise when moved). Loved the total feel of enjoying a Sunday brunch outside on a sunny day. Our server was really friendly. Food came out pretty promptly and everything was good. Crème Brûlée French toast- it was different from what I expected- the custard was very thick and the brûlée was basically a disc of sugar. Appearance wise it looked like a sunrise- cute- but I was expecting something where the surface of the toast itself had a layer of brûlée or something like that. While it was not what I expected, it was a tasty French toast with custard. Breakfast fries- 10/10- ultimate comfort food with a few dashes of hot sauce for my spicy taste buds! Crab cake Benedict- pretty good and the potatoes that came with it were delish too. Radical stack- I couldn't do it (LOL) but my son loved it especially the super high protein aspect. Food portions were large although the yumminess meant - no leftovers. Beverages were good- got refills on the coffee and loved the presentation with the little biscotti. Cloth napkins, good quality silverware- all in all, this feels like a nice, classy brunch with a comfortable atmosphere. Will be back! read more

This is a great place for brunch. They have outside and inside dining. The music isn't crazy loud which allows you to carry a conversation with your family or friends. The parking is abundant. I went on a weekday and there was no problem. The place was clean and comfy. The food portion was gigantic, although it was pricey but you can easily feed two people. The sub $20 are probably not that big, so ask your waiter or waitress to check on the portion. The food were scrumptious, and very satisfying. The service was good, attentive and check out process was speedy and no pressure from the waitress. Overall, it was a great experience, I'd give a 4.8 out 5. read more

I trusted the reviews, and of course my Yelp fam did not let me down. Ok, I ate at this twice within 48 hours lol. We stayed in Temecula for the weekend, and this restaurant was highly recommended by many. There will most likely always be a wait, but the wait isn't long! They'll get you seated in a timely manner. We came on their busiest days! Our waitress was the sweetest! At the end of our meal (on both days), she surprised me with a birthday dessert! Her recommendations and attentiveness made such a difference in our experience. We ordered the berry crepes, potatoes, BYO breakfast burrito, and their Nashville chicken sandwich! All very delicious, but the chicken Sandwich wasn't spicy at allllll. They do have a bar you can order drinks and your morning mimosa from. Delicious coffees if alcohol isn't your thing and just a nice variety of drinks. I'll recommend this spot to kick off your day! read more

But I had the avocado toast and the thing was coated in red pepper flakes, I scraped off a bunch and still couldn't eat it all because there were so many it was very excessive. Came here for an early breakfast but by the time we left around 9 it was packed! We ordered two kids breakfasts, the reuben benedict and the BYO breakfast burrito. Reuben benedict was definitely the star. The burrito was not what I was expecting. The burrito comes with eggs and potatoes, and you can add other vegetables and meats. I thought it would all be scrambled together, but the meat and the veggies I added were just folded into the burrito. It fell apart as soon as I picked it up. Our waitress didn't check up on us more than one time during our whole meal. We ended up having to chase her down for help and to get our bill, so that was a little disappointing. They also forgot one of the kids meals we ordered. For the restaurant not being so busy when we arrived, the service fell kind of short. I would give them another shot when I am in the area just because the other menu items were intriguing. It could have been an off day for them. read more

Service for this place was good, the wait wasn't long either which is a plus. Food was good portion not huge not small. And the restaurant was very clean and simple. Only complaint was the water was gross almost like it had mold or something. I would avoid the water or maybe ask for a bottled water instead. read more

Yum! I really enjoyed this breakfast spot in Temecula. Stopped in for brunch before hitting the wineries. So glad we did. Our food was delicious and nice size food portions. My Espresso Martini hit the spot. I enjoyed and savored every sip! Great service and loved the spacious booths and ambiance. Warm cozy vibes for sure! I really enjoyed the Peach Pleeeace Crepes they were super thin, and light, and had so much flavor with every bite. Loved the filling inside the crepes! TLDR; Good food, great bloody marys, random unmentioned added fees, loud. Start with the good: Food - Varied but mostly good! The chilaquiles were bomb. The others in my party liked their meals (two salads and omelet) except the omelet was "basically scrambled eggs with cheese and a couple other things" and underwhelming. Drinks - all bloody marys and super tasty. Definitely recommend. The spicy was great for me but spicy for someone else so I guess they're not super mild. Now for the mixed: Service was very friendly but misleading. The number of additional charges with no heads up was really frustrating. Anything from something we asked for (extra olives for the drink) to a server-offered item (fresh jalapeño for the dish). I get places need to make their money but the communication needs to be improved. Just let us know something is extra so we can make an informed decision. Feels very deceitful. Lastly, one of the gals found hair in her fruit (at an additional cost). Unfortunately, she'd already eaten most of it so we didn't feel right mentioning it. Also - Super loud! Which can be nice if that's what you're into but just another thing to know. read more

How bad is the wait for 6?
It can be 20-30 even during the week it's the breakfast spot to go to. I see a lot of customers are not in a hurry to get up and leave either.
