Stopped by Toast in Temecula and had a really great breakfast experience. The place has a bright and welcoming atmosphere and it's a great spot to start the day. The menu has a lot of good breakfast and brunch options, so there's plenty to choose from depending on what you're in the mood for. The food came out fresh and everything tasted really good. Portions were generous and you can tell they put effort into the quality of the dishes. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. This was my third time visiting Toast Restaurant, and unfortunately it will probably be my last. My coffee cup arrived dirty with what appeared to be another person's lip mark on it, which was disgusting. I understand the restaurant was busy, and the service was okay considering the environment, but both my coffee and food were served cold. After three visits, I expected a better experience. Cleanliness and serving food at the proper temperature are basic expectations. I was very disappointed and won't be recommending it. read more

Service: Slow. Disclaimer: I am from the northeast, so fast paced is the only pace! I thought that the service was slow for a brunch location. What would usually take me an hour from sit down to leaving, it took 2 hours at this location. It took a while for the waiter to come around for a drink order or a food order or getting our bill. Food: Creme Brulee French Toast - Pass. The creme was curdled and the brulee was just a thick disk of melted sugar. The grittiness of the creme did not sit well with me. This would've been great if the creme was stuffed into the french toast and the toast was actually bruleed. Breakfast Fries - Filling. Always get runny eggs so that it could be used as additional sauce to the dish. The pork had a nice saltiness to it and the onion strings and fries were nice and crispy. *Update* Came back again to give them another try and the service was worse than the first time we came. Our server ignored us and paid more attention to the table with a bigger a party. Our water didnt get refilled and the wait for the check took forever. The coffee takes forever for them to make. If you want breakfast on that side of town just go down the road to the Brunch House Service here is really terrible. Took over 15 minutes to acknowledged from our server and she was rude. read more

This place was solid. We sat at a table on the patio and the area was pretty cute. The servers were super nice and helpful with the menu. I asked about the toasted coconut latte because I don't like lattes that are too sweet. The server explained that it was a syrup and not too sweet. The latte ended up being super good! You can tell the staff makes an extra effort to provide exceptional customer service from the hosts, servers and the runners. It definitely makes the dining experience that much better. The flavors that I experienced were very good. The service was also quick to react when I pointed out a couple of things. However, I ordered a BLTA. When it came out, the fries were cold. The server reacted immediately, re-fired the dish and it came out relatively quickly. The fries were hot, but this time there was no avocado on the sandwich. Again, the server reacted very quickly, and gave me a generous serving of avocado. Even so, the sandwich only had two pieces of bacon on it. I literally ate half of the sandwich, which tasted very good, and then there was only bread left, so I did not eat it. So much to like here in terms of the flavor... Love how their menu has so many unique options. Chicken biscuits and gravy, shrimp & grits, corned beef skillet, oh my! The chicken fried chicken was such a big portion and worth every bite. The potatoes were savory and crispy and the chicken was moist and cooked perfectly. But the gravy? I could eat a whole bucket of it (and hope to someday). I also got the cookies and cream cold brew which was good for a morning cup of coffee. I was able to get it with oat milk too. There is plenty of parking and they offer indoor and outdoor seating. I will add, if you have little ones (as I do), strollers need to stay outside, you have to wait just a little longer for the appropriate table to open (if you need a high chair), and the inside is snug. I have been to other Toast locations but I will say, the food at the Temecula location is the best one by far. Of course there was a bit of a wait however it went by quick. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. They were patient when we had questions regarding the foods and recommendations. We ordered the mimosa flight which was just the right amount for one and it tasted fresh. The champagne to juice ratio was just right. We also ordered the Nashville Spicy chicken sandwich which came out delicious! The chicken was extremely flavorful! It was tangy, sweet, and spicy all in one bit. The eggs your way and chilaquiles were also great. The tortilla chips that came with the chilaquiles weren't too soggy which I appreciated. It only comes with red salsa so if you're a green salsa person that is something to consider. However, the red salsa tasted really good so I would recommend giving it a try anyways. The chilaquiles were good but just keep in mind that they aren't necessarily traditional chilaquiles. The sauce is rather watery but it was still good and the meat was cooked well. All in all solid just wish it would have had more sour cream or other toppings to cut through the liquid. The chicken fried chicken potatoes and biscuits were out of this world. The sauce is good but also needed a bit more of it. There is outdoor and indoor options for seating and parking was easy (we came on a wednesday around 11). The ambience is on the hipster side with lots of fun instagrammable options from their mimosas, lattes, overloaded French toast, etc. All in all a solid place with solid options if there isn't a wait. read more

We ordered the biscuits and gravy, and the crab cake Benedict. Yolks on poached eggs should be runny, but mine were cooked through. I didn't want to risk it happening again, so I opted to get the Reuben instead. It was beyond greasy and dripped so much that I couldn't set the sandwich down between bites. I had ordered a side of fruit to cut down on the amount of fatty food, and when the check came I realized there was an up charge for fruit that was neither stated verbally nor in the menu.
