We shared the chile verde chilaquiles with avocado and the creme brûlée French toast. The chilaquiles were by far some of the best I've had. Stopped by because I heard about Bingo. Waiter in training (Josh)was extremely friendly and very attentive. He did a great job at checking on me. Honestly he has been one of the best servers I've had in a very long time. I appreciate him. And Thank you Josh. Unfortunately I am not able to join the Bingo. They stated it was full. I'm sure most people made reservations. I walked in and seen plenty of seats and thought other wise. However, I was early and did not make a reservation. But on the other hand there was a handful of judge-mental servers in the place. It's unfortunate! The service is on point. They work as a group ensuring that all costumers are happy . I appreciate everyone asking me if I needed anything else. The strawberry mimosa was good. A perfect amount of strawberry for the champagne. I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich. It was great and crispy with a lot of flavor. I didn't care for the slaw or carrots in it. But that's my own preference. But don't get me wrong. It's an amazing sandwich. I'm not knocking it in any way. Toast in Murrieta is one of my favorite brunch spots and Temecula location did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend stopping at either location. Thank goodness for Yelp waitlists! I joined while we were on the way to the restaurant and only had to wait a short time to get seated. Though they're located in a big plaza I can see parking being a challenge during busy times. The restaurant is pretty big and provides indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is super nice and is always checking in on their tables. The food was enjoyable enough for me to do a celebratory dance while eating lol However the coffee just didn't hit. Chilaquiles was not very good. The salsa they use was way too tart. Not a fan of that personally. We went when it wasn't too busy actually, but service was kinda a slow. Our server was nice, just not very organized and you can tell she was being overworked (she had so many tables to herself!) totally not her fault, just need better organization with staff. What would usually take me an hour from sit down to leaving, it took 2 hours at this location. It took a while for the waiter to come around for a drink order or a food order or getting our bill. Food: Creme Brulee French Toast - Pass. The creme was curdled and the brulee was just a thick disk of melted sugar. The grittiness of the creme did not sit well with me. This would've been great if the creme was stuffed into the french toast and the toast was actually bruleed. Breakfast Fries - Filling. Always get runny eggs so that it could be used as additional sauce to the dish. The pork had a nice saltiness to it and the onion strings and fries were nice and crispy. The flavors that I experienced were very good. The service was also quick to react when I pointed out a couple of things. However, I ordered a BLTA. When it came out, the fries were cold. The server reacted immediately, re-fired the dish and it came out relatively quickly. The fries were hot, but this time there was no avocado on the sandwich. Again, the server reacted very quickly, and gave me a generous serving of avocado. Even so, the sandwich only had two pieces of bacon on it. I literally ate half of the sandwich, which tasted very good, and then there was only bread left, so I did not eat it. So much to like here in terms of the flavor... It's a small establishment, arriving early or adding yourself on the waitlist through yelp (which I did) is helpful. Food was good, the coffee flight was okay, and the service was friendly. There is plenty of parking and they offer indoor and outdoor seating. I will add, if you have little ones (as I do), strollers need to stay outside, you have to wait just a little longer for the appropriate table to open (if you need a high chair), and the inside is snug. They were able to accommodate, however, I will say this restaurant is more for families with older kids, friends getting together, or couples. read more
