"I am really trying to like this place, but every time I go there, they somehow seem to get something wrong. These last three visits, they've overcooked the eggs, forgotten the cheese I asked for, and this time, they just put a tiny piece of egg and avocado on the edge of a huge sourdough bread--so all I felt like I was eating was bread. I am really sad because I like this place; I like that they make everything fresh, but it's hard to keep going when they keep forgetting the cheese and giving me tiny portions for what I pay."

The croissant was really fresh and not too sweet. The croissant BLT was also really fresh and savory. The service was really quick and friendly which was also really nice. The atmosphere in the shop is also nice but I assume since it's so popular it's usually really crowded but other than that it's a really good spot for drinks and food if you're ever in the area!

Idk why I've waited so long to come here but FRESHLY BAKED BREAD DAILY?! The breakfast sandwich slapped. There is some yummy chipotle spicy sauce that I wish I could buy by the bottle. I had a lavender lemonade, it was delicious, but definitely wish they had decaffeinated options :/ The little tables are perfect and the natural wood makes the space feel cozy.

For a small location it gets very busy but all staff and team members make it a point to give the best customer service to all that enter! Food is all made fresh to order and they have special seasonal hand crafted drinks iced and hot! The food is very fresh and filling, does not look like much ay first but it is the perfect portion. The young Barista Jess was super attentive and great at explaining what to grab for the drinks. Great music and lighting, a very modern/rustic style coffee shop. Can't wait for their bigger location to open! Would be the best place for studying! Shout out to Jess again!! Did not know what to get but got the best recommendations!

A fine cafe/brunch establishment! All of the food taste fresh and ppl behind counter and kitchen are always very nice. It gets busy with a small space but goes to show how a lot of people (including me) adore it. Prices are reasonably placed. The lattes and their syrups taste kinda similar to those in the Arcade.

I was in riverside for a bowling tournament and my teammates and I were looking for a place to eat breakfast. We found Toasted on yelp and we were so happy we did! We loved it so much we went back after bowling to eat lunch there too. Had another tournament a few weeks later and all we were looking forward to was going to eat at Toasted. It is delicious!!!

We got that great coffee, so no we needed great breakfast sandwiches before hitting the road. And Yelp led up to Toasted! We arrived and saw the line outside, which let's you know this place is definitely popular. And because it was that long, we decided we had the time to wait. The line moved pretty fast, and we were inside and ordering Maybe within 20 minutes. Once inside we looked at the menu and once as the counter order the following: Bacon breakfast sandwiches (x4) *Several customized based on different dietary restrictions* The breakfast sandwiches were really and decently priced.

Food was amazing!!!! Drink deliciously healthy matcha latte...but it was super crowded. Five tables inside and 40 people standing in a "mosh pit" line. No personal space was respected! I mean it's ok to not touch the person in front of you and behind you while waiting to place your order buuuut this crowd did not share that sentiment. Three tables outside with NO chairs and the appearance of "never been cleaned" people at the tables inside had lap tops and water cups...but aside from the crowd no space no place to sit and dirty standing tables outside it was great. ‍ not sure what vibe this is...and who craves for strangers to stand too close to them for great food buuuuut I think once is enough. If they cleaned the tables and even had tables or more space to stand and or wait in line to order without a stranger pressing against me...I still think once was enough. Side note I CLEANED MY OWN TABLE...I keep cleaning supplies with me for these occasions.

Finally made my way to try Toasted today. The service was great. The gal at the register was apologetic when she had me wait so she could punch in a phone order. The food and coffee were delicious!!! I ordered a breakfast sandwich (w/bacon), chocolate chip cookie, a plain croissant, and the salted maple latte. Everything was so good! I looooove that avocado is included on the breakfast sandwich! The latte was perfect, not super sweet, great espresso. My only reason for the 4 stars was because of the space itself. There are only a handful of tables. My friends and I decided to take our food to go because there were no tables available. This made me look forward to their new space that'll have more space. We will definitely be back to try more of their food and perhaps buy a load of sourdough!

Very busy on a Sunday morning around 10am. Line was out the door and we waited around 25-30 mins for our food. Food was delicious. The Pesto Fried Eggs were flavored good and I enjoyed the potatoes that came with it. Ambiance is social and loud. They played some interesting ratchet music haha. Pesto Fried Eggs: 4.5/5

Located in a strip mall exists a small but tasty little breakfast/lunch spot. The menu isn't extensive, which is good because you don't spend too much time trying to figure out what you want to eat. It also allows the place to focus on creating really good freshly made foods. They also bake their own sourdough loafs from scratch as well as some delightfully tasty pastries. It's a small space so seating is limited, but feel for to order and pickup if you want to enjoy your food at home. They have a nice efficient assembly line to place your dish so wait time after you order isn't longer than 5 minutes. You really can't go wrong with the food selection, i ordered the spicy BLT and it was really good. I think it had a drizzle of spicy chipotle sauce in it so it gave it a little kick. Pay them a visit you well not be disappointed.

We were a bit hesitant to stop at first, but it turned out to be a great decision. The sourdough was delicious--light, fluffy, and full of flavor. It really seems like they bake their own bread because the croissant was incredible. For context, I'm posting a picture--this thing was massive! The sandwich was so big you could easily split it in half, but my husband ended up eating most of it. They did skimp On the avocados a bit and he had to ask for More mayonnaise. Ambience was chill and customer service was excellent.

Loved this place! The most important thing to note is that this is a self service location with VERY limited seating. Maybe 20 people max inside and 10 more outside standing tables only. Plenty of parking as it's in a complex. A little on the loud side inside especially with the constant line of customers. The menu is very limited but what I got - the croissant French toast - was tasty, not too sweet, and affordable ~$15. My dad got eggs and toast, the only thing I would note is there are no condiments readily available at the location such as ketchup or jam. There bread and pastries are homemade! Would recommend ordering to go.

came here cause we seen good things about it on tik tok. my boyfriend ordered a breakfast sandwich and said no tomato and they gave him tomato and skipped on the onion. i wasn't aware only have the sandwiches would only have cheese not the whole thing which was kinda disappointing. coffee was ok nothing great about it. overall wasn't bad but not worth $33 for two sandwiches with skimped ingredients and a coffee. read more

This is a little hidden gem! It was my first time here and it did not disappoint. The food was flavorful and on point. Although there was a long line the service was excellent and the cashier was friendly. It's a cute little spot, but with limited seating which would be the only down side. I ordered fried eggs with pesto and it was delicious and a must try if you love pesto. If you're in the area stop by and try it for yourself. read more

Very simple menu which is nice, and not too overwhelming. The prices are relatively cheaper than what I'm normally used to which is a plus because the amount of food served was very generous. The service was standard, the employee was very helpful on which drink to order! Inside was clean, had the ambiance of what cafes generally looked like. Would definitely come back! read more

Best coffee in Riverside hands down! My husband and I wanted to stop in for a while and we finally did. We walked up and we had no clue what to order. The guy at the front was more than accommodating and helped us order two iced coffees and a breakfast sandwich. We found a seat in the oh so pleasant restaurant. Took in the cool ambiance and decor. Our drinks and food came out and oh my gosh! We now knew what the hype was about. The coffee was delicious. The sandwich savory and filling. The best part about this place is where it is. It's not downtown, it's here in the heart of Riverside. If you live anywhere near here, you need to stop by! read more

This little place is poppin'! I came here Friday morning around 10:30 and the place was full, with plenty of people continually getting in line. The croissants are huge and very buttery! They have a nice selection of lattes, I had the Dulce De Leche and it was nice. Everything that was being prepared looked really good. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area. A small self service cafe with a cozy atmosphere. I only ordered one breakfast item so I can only judge based on this item. The cappuccino was on the wet side and the flavor was familiar. They might be using Klatch coffee beans but I'm not sure. The storefront has heavy tinted windows so you can't see the inside from the parking area. The map address was wrong and I requested a change on Apple Maps. read more

Stopped by this place on a weekday between the breakfast and lunch rush. The person at the register was super helpful as it was our first time there. She made a few suggestions and I ended up going with the croissant French toast and, man, was it tasty. They had a line to the door by the time we were done eating, so beware that it might be busy even during the week. Totally would come back if I'm the area. read more

My husband stumbled upon this charming coffee shop, so we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to give it a try. It was Sunday morning around 7:30 when we arrived. At that time, there were only a few people inside, but as we were leaving, the place became bustling with customers. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the breakfast sandwiches and lattes. The fresh croissants and sourdough bread they used were simply delightful. We were so impressed that we wanted to purchase a loaf of bread for my mom. However, when we inquired, they regretfully informed us that they weren't selling any more loaves due to the limited supply during the holiday weekend. Service--amazing. Drinks--well-made. Food--depends. My daughter got the breakfast sandwich. I ordered the bagel with salmon. First round, her sandwich came a lot earlier. That's fine. Then when mine came out I took a bite, perfect over-medium egg, and then I picked a short, curly hair out of it. I reported it to staff, I said it's okay it happens, they offered to make a new one and gave me a crossaint. Okay cool, I didn't feel bad because I tipped well and wasn't trying to get things for free. But then when it was remade, the bagel wasn't fully toasted so it was soggy with the cream cheese and what not on top and the egg was over-hard, not runny at all, so I had a soggy sandwich with a hard egg. I just threw it away. I let them know. Nice people, cute place, but I'm still hungry since I threw out my breakfast. I'd try it again. But I'd stick to something basic. Thanks for being kind, ladies. First time coming to Toasted & immediately the line was to the door but the system they have works & gets customers in & out. The only complaint that I have is they have definitely outgrew that establishment & should look into getting a bigger place so everyone isn't crammed into one room. They had a handful of tables & chairs that were all occupied. The cashier was very nice & friendly. The establishment was nice, clean, organized & the atmosphere was relaxing. Although I didn't try their food it looked & smelled absolutely delicious! read more

The food was wonderful! And they went above-and-beyond to get our order right. Mom enjoyed the garden toast with hummus, and I loved the eggs with pesto. The potatoes were nicely seasoned! Fast service, too (it was after any lunch rush, though). The room was just a bit breezy/cold for us seniors, so consider bringing a sweater. This is a nice little bakery/coffee/brunch restaurant with good fresh food, tastefully prepared. We hope to be back! read more

The wife and I stopped in for a late breakfast. We were greeted joyfully with big smiles. The coffee was strong and flavorful. I ordered the "campfire" and it was amazing. My lady had the lavender latte with almond milk and loved it. I'll be sure to stop by and try the other flavors in the future. I'm actually surprised I haven't been back already lol. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious. I mean, so so good. We each had our sandwiches on croissants, her eggs were scrambled, mine were over medium (cooked perfectly). The croissant is so light, fluffy and flaky. Probably the best croissant I've ever eaten. This place is the real deal. I believe, with enough exposure, this place has the potential to be one of the top spots in Riverside. read more

My family and I we're in the area from northern ca a few weeks ago for a wedding. We came across this coffee spot on Yelp and it was very delicious, cute and fun. They even had someone playing guitar. We had coffee, bagel sandwiches, and one of their non caffeine drinks and everything was really good! Wish we had one in our area. FYI - I don't drink caffeine and they do not have decaf espresso, but it was not a problem. They kind gentleman that took our order suggested a drink that they carry that doesn't have caffeine. food was mediocre and overpriced. the coffee was milky and $6 because they ran out of the 12oz by breakfast time?? the sweet maple ricotta was $9 for jam and ricotta from a store with plain slices of sourdough and the rise and shine was $10 for a basic toast, avocado and egg definitely not worth the price 4/10 the cafe itself was quite beautiful though. it had a nice interior and the theme was just to my liking. it was quite busy and there was enough parking. 10/10 for ambiance the service was pretty good as well 9/10 overall, this place is pretty but if you're on a money crunch and want a good breakfast, don't come here read more

I recently visited this establishment for the first time on a Sunday morning, right after coming out of Harvest. Overall, I had a positive experience, particularly with the quality of the breakfast my wife and I ordered. The staff was friendly and helpful, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. However, I'd like to share a couple of minor concerns. Firstly, the place tends to get crowded, and the indoor seating area is limited. Additionally, the outdoor seating consists of tall tables without chairs, which may not be ideal for some guest. Secondly, while the food was amazing. I found the plastic forks provided to be somewhat inadequate. When trying to cut my croissant French Toast, a plastic fork and knife weren't sufficient. Perhaps considering sturdier utensils could enhance the dining experience. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely return, although next time I might opt for takeout. Food was so good and fresh. Service was excellent, everyone is super friendly. You can see them cracking fresh scrambled eggs for the sandwiches, along with baking all their pastries and breads made from scratch. The ambiance is lovely, great vibes all around. Coffee is always fresh and made to perfection. I've seen the Baristas early in the morning dilating the espresso so every shot can come out smooth and tasty. Great place over all. I was looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately my experience wasn't great. The croissant French toast arrived cold and soggy, which really took away from the dish. When I went to check on my order, the worker I asked didn't understand English and just stared at me until another employee stepped in to help. I have had several take away breakfasts at Toasted for the last few months. They've adapted to covid, with the installation of screens and a one way system through the premises. I prefer to call in my orders beforehand, they're always very accommodating and my food is ready to pick up in 15minutes and always the correct order.
