Ordered to go order. The sushi rolls were hot because they put it all in one bag. The udon was ok, the chicken was kind of fatty. Tempura veggies should be called onion rings. The last time we ordered it was really good so I'm guessing this was just a misstep. read more

Being a sushi fanatic, I think Tokyo Cafe is the absolute best choice for sushi and hibachi. Service was phenomenal and the staff was very concerned about making sure everything was okay. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced, as well. read more

I honestly wish I could put 0. I don't understand why I can't order the hibachi food from a table. I don't care about the show and I'm willing to pay the same price. What happens if someone has an allergy, do you guys not make it in the back? Also, I don't feel comfortable sitting around a table with outlets during this time. Covid is an issue and I preferred my own seating area. Secondly, our server completely wrote us off after ordering. All she would do was put our food down and walk off. I am a bartender and server and that is NOT the way you treat a table even if you don't like their attitude. It was extremely rude and I don't care if she thought I was a bitch or not. If someone is paying $25-$30 a meal per person you should treat your customers with respect. Thirdly, my ice tea tasted like it was brewed two days ago. And Lastly, the chicken in the fried rice was bland and rubbery. Also the shrimp in my shrimp tempura roll tasted so awful I ate around it. Awesome place! They seriously have the best hibachi! And the sushi is a very good price for what it is worth! It's not like most sushi restaurants that rip you off with a 40 dollar hibachi dinner and only give you a little noddles, rice, and meat! This place is very generous with its portions and extremely good making it a five star restaurant in my opinion. read more

Came here with my parents, teenage brother, and 2-yr old son after being told at the crowded, noisy Ichiban that it would be an hour wait for hibachi service. What I appreciated about this place was that it is clean and bright and quiet. The waitress was fine -- not overly charming, but not rude either. My son got a kick out of the drummer who accompanied the singing waitress to another table when she brought them a birthday cake/candle. Another pro: my kid was really hungry when we arrived so I asked for a rush order of gyoza and our gal brought them over within minutes. Our hibachi chef was entertaining (though he did make a few mistakes on some of his tricks, like dropping 2 eggs, for ex.). We shared the hibachi table with another family and everyone seemed to have a good time watching the spatula-juggling, onion volcano, etc. However, we were not pleased with the food. Everything was oversalted -- he had a heavy hand with the soy sauce. Additionally, most of the proteins were overcooked. My brother ordered his steak medium-rare and the rest of the table ordered their steak medium, but the chef cooked them all for the same amount of time, and most bites were medium-well to well done! Boo! And he very nearly ruined my mom's calamari and another customer's lobster by just cooking them to DEATH! Such yummy, succulent seafood should be seared and served rare, but Mom's calamari was rubbery. Eating an eraser would have been just about as appealing. The best components of our meal were the stir-fried vegetables (particularly the squash) and the shrimp. Furthermore, I noticed that our chef was not very adept at portioning out the servings. Since he cooks all of the orders at the same time on the hibachi, it's up to him to divide food between the customers. There were 9 of us at the table, and the first 2 got huge, heaping piles of the noodles, but by the time he got to my brother, there was just a tiny scoop left. When it was time for serving steak, I noticed uneven portions again, and the poor guy down the table from me only got a handful of diced steak. =( I wouldn't go back here. Next time I'm in town, I'd call ahead to Ichiban and reserve a hibachi spot. read more

The service was good. The food is covered with salt. Way more than should have been. We couldn't even finish our meal! Disappointed.

I WILL NEVER RETURN ! As my party and I sat at the table waiting to be serve before the waiter even came, we was first approached by a ROACH! Like what the hell. We killed it soon as we spotted it and we informed the waiter and he blushed laughed as if this wasn't the first time or something unsanitary. He didn't apologize or anything or even offered a new table , we just left and will NEVER RETURN and I won't suggest anyone else to unless they get a health inspector or someone to come spray. This place USED To be good. But we just walked out. While we were seated at the hibachi bar the chef came out of the kitchen to clear the mucus and phlegm from his upper respiratory tract infection before resuming his role preparing food. When reaching for a sweetener packet, I received a total of four simultaneously as a result of the copious amount of aged hibachi butter sludge binding them together. I requested that my server bring some fresh sweetener (86 the sludge) and rinse the dish that was holding them. I received fresh sweetener however it was served in the same filthy dish I requested be cleaned. I again informed them that the dish was dirty and needed to be cleaned. The clear soup we were served was ice cold and had to be reheated by the kitchen, the chef finally made an appearance and managed to mix our orders up and proceeded to prepare the wrong dishes. Disgusting and overpriced. When I went there it was extremely packed. Their customer service was descent, which was the reason I didn't walk out when I had a taste of their salty, gross sushi. My sister enjoyed the hibachi and a lot of people go there for that reason. I don't like hibachi so my sushi experience was the worst. read more
