The crispy rice here is my favorite. Everything else is just ok but the ambience is always really nice.

L1 lunch special with 3 rolls. They are left to right spicy yellow tail, tuna avocado & Philadelphia. Only $13.50, fresh and delicious!

We usually sit at the bar to watch the sushi chefs and the 4 TVs that show different sports! The fish is always top notch and fresh. This is our favorite place in Princeton hands down! Lunch specials are awesome!

Always get food to go when I'm craving sushi or hibachi. I sit at the bar and get the fastest service there.

We love Tokyo House! They are very quick to get us seated and the staff is always friendly. Their sushi is very good. I also recommend the gyoza and their seasonal deserts. They do a good job at keeping the restaurant clean. I have never seen anyone in the kitchen without gloves on. Prices are average, but you get a lot for what you order.

Husband & I went for my birthday, was feeling sushi & had been wanting to try this place for a while. Truly did not disappoint, our server was super nice, gave us recommendations for food & even helped us open the Japanese soda we couldn't figure out. Food was insane, I got a classic roll & a signature roll. Both amazing in flavors. My husband got a hibachi dinner entree, steak and shrimp. OMG delicious he didn't have to put any sauce or nothing. & then for desert we both decided on the cheesecake tempura. HOLY SHIT! Excuse my French, this one took it home for us, hands down one of the best deserts I've had in a really long time. For reference I'm not a desert type of gal, I always skip it. My husband loves sweets but this.. you can't miss out! GET THE CHEESECAKE TEMPURA !!

Shrimp Tempura Bento

interior is so clean and cute and comfortable. plenty of seats/space. staff was super friendly and checked up on us very often. we went during lunch and the food portions were PLENTY with decent prices. we ordered the shrimp tempura bento and 2 of the choose-3-rolls combo. they all tasted amazing! the tempura here is probs our favourite in DFW. 10/10 would go back again

The starters of soup, salad, California roll and tempura. All very tasty. I forgot to take a photo of the main courses.

Food was delicious and fresh. Everything was cooked to perfection. We had California type rolls and tempura for appetizers. The side sauces were tasty. The main hibachi dinners were very good. Service was attentive, but not too much. A nice balance. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I will definitely return.

So pretty

For a Saturday the place was filled with patrons which is always a good sign. Parking was a little crap but there's not much we can do about that. Its located inside a small strip mall of businesses. There is ample parking across the street but that does require walking is almost 100 degree heat. We were seated right away. For our table we ordered the sashimi bento box which came with fresh slices of salmon, tuna and white fish. The portions were extremely generous as they also included salad, miso soup, tempura with veggies, and a double order of california rolls. Thats definitely a Texan sized meal. We also ordered a octopus roll. This came with a large portion of ginger and wassabi too. Food was delicious, pricing wise even more competitive to Carrollton and we were in the vicinity so it was extremely convenient to nearby attractions, including the downtown McKinney historical district. Highly recommended!

It is so pretty on the inside, with the traditional Japanese flair. They have a great menu with an extensive selection rolls. The prices are great and affordable. We both ordered from their lunch special menu, which was any two rolls for $13. The rolls themselves are huge! We even took some to go because we couldn't finish them all. The fish is divinely fresh, along with everything else that was served. The service was excellent. We have found our go-to sushi spot and will return to try other options from their menu.

We loved everything we tried! We had the spicy tuna crispy rice (perfect level of spicy) Lots of salmon nigiri, some albacore nigiri A shrimp tempura roll and a natsu roll The portions and quality are amazing for the price points! Our server may have been the manager, and when he heard it was a birthday he gifted us a dessert The matcha cheesecake was balanced so perfectly! The space is small, but beautifully done and it doesn't feel cramped - I can imagine a wait when the road conditions are clear!

I myself don't really like sushi, so I got the chicken yakisoba. I'd place it at average to above average yakisoba, with strong flavor and thin noodles. I think beef or pork would have better suited the dish had they had them--the chicken was good but a little dry. My partner seemed to very much enjoy his omakase. He got the 10 piece course, and there wasn't anything he thought was bad or mediocre. I asked for his favorite and he mentioned both tuna options that he received, including one with truffle. It was also his first time trying caviar. When asked what could be improved, he cited that when he had his omakase in Japan, it was more than just nigiri options. He liked the little appetizers, hand rolls, and more that he had gotten there. He said that while this 10 piece course was great, he wished for a bit more variety. Overall, we both enjoyed our meal here and would return again. Shoutout to the waitstaff for not forcing the whole table to get the omakase (that's happened to me before)!

We went to Shun for our Wedding anniversary dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there…read more First off we started o with Premium Wakatake Demon Slayers Junmai and a Manhattan cocktail and we were blown way with the quality of the Junmai and the expertise with which the Manhattan was concocted ! We started off with the Uni+A5 Wagyu sushi and while it was slightly pricey, the quality of the Uni and Wagyu more than made up for the price. It was one of best dishes we had that we evening! Next we got the Sashimi premium tray and let me tell you, the next 20 minutes we were oohing and swooning over each sliver of fish they had served which had come from Japan and many other countries around the world. Next we ordered their Pork Belly skewers which were glazed so beautifully that each piece brought a burst of never experienced before flavors. Certainly a gem of a dish! Next we got the sizzling A5 Wagyu over rice which as hand tossed table side (video added) The flavors and textures in this dish left us in raptures!! Wife wanted some more Sashimi , so we got the Itoyori - Threadfin Bream and the Muki Hotate - Hokkaido Scallops, all of which was to die for !! And to close out we got the Yuzu Crème Brûlée , the perfect closure to such a fantastic meal !! We want to Thank Melvin for his wonderful recommendations and table side service and the most wonderful conversation that we had with him. We also thank the chefs who prepared our dishes and made this a most memorable dinner!. Ambience was quiet and very romantic ! We can't wait to bring our friends here for our next celebration.

Ok I guess I am gonna be a negative one on this one, and I hate to be the one to be so negative -…read morebut got to be honest with what we experienced. First thing first if a restaurant mentions on their door and their website/Google maps that they are open till 11:30 PM - i totally imagine that they will be open till at least near that time. We were late, but life and baby does not work on a timetable, but knowing that we can still go out and celebrate was important. We reached the restaurant at 10:22 PM and were immediately told last call in 8 minutes. Weird, which restaurant does last call an hour before. Next we were absolutely rushed throughout the dinner. Again, we understand us being late and if the staff needed to leave early, just let us know to come back again and we would have been more than happy to go somewhere else, rather than plate full of food being tried to be cleaned up. Just change the restaurant timing if you cannot abide by your own time, we would not have chosen it as such! Sounds pretty bad to complain about the time when we came in at 10:22 but we came in then BECAUSE their times mentioned they were open for an hour more which any reasonable person would say is enough! Food was extremely mid - having eaten at many MANY sushi restaurants now, and knowing what we get for what we pay for, maybe it was because the staff wanted us gone The Bluefin Tuna sashimi was great, Yellowtail was very mid (like felt "slimy"which is a weird feeling to have when eating sushi lol), my wife obsesses over Salmon and this time she was being very generous to me with her pieces lol. The double pleasure roll was pretty good, but came too late to the story. Ambience is great. Staff was decent, except our server who was hovering hard. I totally understand you want us out of there, but just dont sit anyone if that is the case - dropping 100+ dollars to have that experience does not feel right. I will stop, I always read these reviews and imagine a crumudgeon somewhere angry and writing this, but this is just a warning to anyone who was gonna take a late night dinner option here!
