The more I travel around and try food in other cities/states/countries (I'm from St. Pete) the more I start to realize that it's less about just the food and more about the entire experience and memory of the thing. So, because of that, I'd say that this place gives a tremendous and delicious experience! I sat outside with my dogs to eat here after a rainy afternoon and found the service and food here phenomenal. The waiter was very accommodating, even though I was the only person sitting outside, and everyone was very friendly. I got the spicy seafood ramen (just ridiculously good - pork broth made spicy with chili peppers, topped with egg, scallops, shrimp, squid, mussels, and maybe the best mushrooms I have ever eaten in a bowl of ramen) and I highly recommend that you try it if you visit. It could even rival the legendary seafood ramen of Nolman Cafe () on Korea's Jeju Island. I also got the salmon belly sashimi - super juicy and fresh, on par with the best and most expensive sushi restaurants you'll find - and salmon eggs (ikura) served out of hollowed out cucumbers. Oh, and a couple big ass bottles of Asahi of course. The reason I mentioned "the experience" earlier is because this will be one of the best memories I look back on from my brief trip down to Naples. Chilling outside of a low-key parking plaza restaurant on a cloudy, post-rain afternoon, drinking some Asahi and eating some killer seafood ramen, dogs relaxing on the curb, a friendly passerby here or there. Don't let the strip mall setting throw you off, this is a great little gem on the inside. We were seated quickly but never really knew who our server was. The service was pretty slow and they switched who helped us at each step of our meal. One girl brought us "hot" towels that weren't even warm, another girl took our drink order, then we tried to order food but she said she wasn't taking our food order. Another lady came for our food order and had no issues rewarding the check in deal. Our appetizers showed up shortly before my sushi rolls. My copilots dish took another 5-10 minutes which was frustrating. There seemed to be multiple moments where the servers were arguing and confused. One waitress would say she would get us a refill but another waitress would stop by before she got back. Once the first waitress returned to see it was done, she would roll her eyes and make a comment about the other lady. It was very uncomfortable at times considering there was clearly a disconnect with the staff. The food was very tasty and neither of us had any complaints. The crab rangoon and spring rolls were both fantastic. The Rainbow Dragon Roll and Tuna Lover Roll were both great as well. read more

The reviews here are very misleading , this place either changed management & chef after reviews were posted, or my standard of food quality us VERY different from those who have been there and reviewed this place. The moment we sat down I had a feeling we should leave the place but decided to stay (what a mistake!) The food was not good at all. We tried 2 plates- the grilled salmon & teriyaki steak and it was just not up to par. Tried 5 different rolls- and none of them we could find something good to say about them Don't even get me started on the service. Let's just say they brought some food we ordered ahead and had no utensils, and no waters/drinks When we asked for utensils they brought 4 yet there were 5 of us at the table. Our server had the worst attitude. We would ask for suggestions and she would get annoyed At some point she sent another server to wait on us- and the guy started treating as if we didn't know English. They closed the kitchen, my kids wanted to try the bobba tea, and they said the kitchen I s cl on sed. We told the guy no one came ro tells us the kitchen was closing in case we wanted to get any last items- to which he responds I'm not your server yet he was the one taking our orders The place felt really loud- even someone who worked there (I think the kitchen) cane to a table to explain something about how they price their items- he was talking to people in another table- yet it felt like he was screaming in my ear. I was craving some Tokyo Thai Sushi and decided to jazz it up a little bit. I ordered the Crispy Duck, Massaman Curry, and white rice dinner plate. The curry is always a bit for me. The first time I tried the duck and OMG it was amazing!! The duck was extra crispy and flavorful. They gave me huge portions of the curry and that was an A plus! I also ordered the Taro Boba drink which I enjoy every time. The Taro Boba gives me fruity pebbles leftover milk vibes and I am totally digging that! First the bad- In my opinion-"Krab stick" or surimi should not be one of the pieces of a nigiri sushi dinner in a good sushi restaurant. It's not real. It's processed Pollock, like a Mrs. Pauls fish stick. I compromised knowing the California roll that was part of the Chef sushi dinner would have the fake "Krab", but did not expect to see a piece of it as one the the nigiri sushi "chef choices" Comparing the sushi dinner here to my favorite Sushi restaurant in Naples area ( Sushi One), The same price sushi dinner at Sushi One comes with a Tempura Shrimp roll. The pieces of fish in the Nigiri sushi are significantly larger there compared to what I was served here at Tokyo Thai Sushi. They would not serve " Krab stick" as one of the pieces of sushi. The dinner here came with soup OR salad, both are included in the same priced sushi special at Sushi One. Atmosphere, general cleanliness -higher at Sushi One. The service was friendly here. The fish tasted fine I noted in another review someone mentioning a bad odor, I did not find that to be the case. ( I was prepared to leave if it were!) Experience was good, I wanted to like it more as its 15-20 minutes closer than my favorite, but when I'm able, I'll drive the extra miles to Sushi One. read more

Last night was a miss. Crab Rangoon was soggy and cold. The drunken noodles were definitely not made in house as with other Thai restaurants we've been to where they melt in your mouth. They were very uniform and chewy which was disappointing. The dish was tasteless, pork was dry and not much sauce was added. I was expecting much better. read more

First time visiting this place in East Naples located in the same plaza as Sonic, Pollo Tropical and Rib City. The restaurant is in a strip plaza which offers a lot of parking space. The inside has adequate seating and they offer Japanese and Thai food to include a nice Sushi Bar. We were immediately seated by a friendly host and then the owner stopped by to say hello. This was a very kind gesture and always give extra kudos when owners are willing to engage with the customer. The menu had a lot to offer with a lot of sushi variations with Sush Rolls, Sashimi, Nigiri and seasonal fish. The Japanese/Thai menu offered many authentic dishes you don't always see like Laarb and Papaya Salad. We ordered a Mexican Roll for an appetizer that was sensational filled with plump Shrimp Tempura, avocado, asparagus, cream cheese then topped with spicy mayo. For dinner we had the Shrimp Tempura with Vegetables, Panang Curry and Chicken Katsu. Everything came out piping hot, fresh and delicious. We ended our dinner with a nice Thai Doughnut dessert complimentary with Yelp Check In. Our party was super impressed with the quality and taste of the food and great service we experienced tonight. I'll just start off by saying my husband and I have 3 little girls, so getting out and enjoying a restaurant just isn't much of an option for us. So when we discovered this little gem, we were overjoyed that they DELIVER. So we can enjoy their amazing sushi at home with our crazy little people. We order from them regularly, and it's always so fresh and delicious, no matter what we order. Our girls love their shrimp tempura rolls, gyoza, and spring rolls. My husband loves their white tuna and California roll. I'm a big fan of their Massaman curry as well. But above all, we are always so impressed with their customer service. They always go the extra mile in any way they can. On the last delivery, a little bag of chopstick helpers were included, as they remembered we had little ones who love sushi. Wonderful service and delicious food! My family and I came here for dinner for the first time. We ordered a handful of appetizers. Definitely get the soft shell crab and the seafood sunomono. The tom kha soup is also fire!! I love the combination of coconut milk and lemon grass broth. Pad thai is stir-fried hot and fresh to perfection & they give you a pretty generous portion. The ramen was tasty. Perfectly boiled egg with that nice yolk texture. The ramen's pork melts in your mouth. Sushi rolls are displayed beautifully with lots of garnish. Good service. Horrible sushi. I've eaten sushi from city to city and country to country. I'm 26 years old and have a decent taste pallet. I've eaten at high end restaurants and ones you find in a plaza. And I am sad to say that Naples has no good sushi nearby. This sushi was disappointing. I do not recommend the sushi here.
