Came in on Saturday night with the parking lot having a decent amount of parking . Only about a 15 minute wait around 6 pm Chef javier was on point with his fire tricks really entertained my little ones! the filet and shrimp were amazing! Our server Larissa was attentive and honored our request for the Surprise birthday song and ice cream Will be coming back and trying out more appetizers and rolls soon

We come here at least 3-4 times a month. It's the best if Teppanyaki & Sushi around! All the chefs & servers are wonderful! Valentine's Day we had our favorite Larissa & Jose! Highly recommend!

So I placed a pickup order for Sashimi Salad and Onion Mushroom soup at Tokyo Wako Onterio shortly after 5pm when they first open for the night. I get to the restaurant about 20 mins later, unfortunately their Sushi Chef had called in sick in the interim. I'm totally bummed out thinking I wouldn't get my Sushi order which I was completely psyched on having. This was about the head south. When the manager on duty jumps in and says "I believe I can make that order" Okay so not only was the Sashimi incredibly fresh, perfectly presented, made quickly and on schedule. It may have been the best Sashimi I've had in a long time. Kudos to the manager on duty September 11th 2023 for stepping up. Thank you I'll definitely be back when visiting Onterio Mills.

I really like coming to this establishment every time an experience. The food is really good . The chef prepared everything perfectly .The sushi , filet mignon, jumbo shrimp and scallops were delicious. The service was excellent courteous and friendly. The interior is nicely put together. This place is always crowded on the weekends and during the week but what do you expect with good food and good service .There's plenty of parking . The handicap stalls are close to the front entrance.

Walking into the restaurant they had a couple ponds with koi fish, it was a relaxing setting. We had made reservation and we were sat quickly. We had a very friendly server, he was attentive to everyone at the table and remembered all the drinks. My husband and I ordered the rising sunrise and dragon roll. The rising sunrise is the most delicious roll! It was sooooo goooood, the dragon roll was good too. Our chef was awesome, he did a lot of tricks and made some jokes which kept everyone at the table focused on his cooking. Everything tasted delicious!

We had the Best Meal I've had in a while. Teppan Seating, we had the whole place to ourselves for the Late Lunch on New Years Eve. 3 item Combo was my first choice of the afternoon .We also started off with the Dynamite Plate which was a baked scallop dish . That was amazing. The teppan chef could have tried a lil harder, his act was weak. Overall we had a great Dinner yo bring in the New Year!

This used to be my favorite teppanyaki spot. The meat used to be such great quality. Maybe it still is but our chef overcooked my steak beyond belief. The server was not attentive and we had to flag him down several times to get drink refills. The floor was so gross and sticky. Had a reservation so we were seated pretty quickly with a group of 3. Order was taken promptly since the others had already been seated. We were ready to order so that wasn't a big deal. Drinks, soup, salad and gyozas came out fairly quickly. So far so good. The chef wheels the cart over and starts the "show". He starts by tapping the spatulas on the teppan grill then he attempts to flip one and it comes crashing down on the table. Good thing our table wasn't full or it would have landed on someone's plate. This os when I knew we were in trouble. LOL Veggies are on the grill and he attempts to build the onion volcano thing. We watch for several minutes as he struggles to do this. He finally just stacks them as best as he can and lights it on FIRE! Like huge flames LOL! Fried rice comes out ok. I see some big chunks of rice not smashed down and mixed well but it still tastes ok. He grills the shrimp and gives them to us whole. No special shrimp tail removal tricks. He puts the chicken and steaks on the grill. 2 of us order medium rare, 2 medium and 1 chicken. Veggies still on the grill. Umm usually they're plated by now. So he's cooking everything up and confirms how we want our steak cooked twice. Medium Filet served first, then medium New York, then medium rare New York, then chicken and last is mine ... medium rare ribeye! The steak is so dang thin that and W A Y over cooked. Seems like maybe he could have served the medium rare steaks first, then medium, then the chicken. The other person who ordered medium rare confirmed his was way overdone too. Finally the veggies get served. Usually the veggies get served after the shrimp appetizer so we can eat them with our steak. Meal is over and they don't offer dessert before bringing the check. Hmm ok. As we get us to leave, I try to push my chair in and it's stuck to the floor. Uh gross. No more driving all the way out here for such a mediocre meal and "show". Wish I would have picked somewhere else for my husband to take me for my birthday.

Chef Javier and Chef big Mike cooked for us this evening. We were a party of 13 we had to get two grills and both were entertaining and we showed up perfect timing right when I opened. Our server Larissa was attentive made sure our drinks were filled and beer refilled. Let's just say we had less to take home with the food being that good. This is not the first we've come here we actually come for allot of our birthdays and it never disappoints.

Opens at 5pm they do not answer phone calls, they do not open early if ur knocking on door, service a bit slow bc they are really short staff , the chef and food was great. But overall beginning 40% service was OK/below average .

The rolls came very saucy, and most plates had an aesthetic appearance. Personally, if I were to ever revisit this location, I'd only order the garlic noodles w/ shrimp & the nigiri. For this review, I will focus on the Lobster Tail Roll ($36), Gyoza ($14), and Monaka Ice Cream ($7). I arrived at Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) on Sunday (around 12:50PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is HUGE. I had a reservation for 1PM, but a reservation felt superfluous since the restaurant was VERY empty. Throughout the entire dining experience, I only noticed one other group arrive. Staff is the HIGHLIGHT! Staff (receipt says JoJo) was the MAIN superstar. JoJo charmed the table; JoJo maintained a professional, kind demeanor; and JoJo worked very hard. JoJo gave excellent recommendations, and JoJo maintained a friendly, bright smile throughout our visit. Regarding food, it felt inconsistent. The food in the beginning was plated elegantly and carefully. However, as time progressed, it felt like the kitchen was beginning to rush despite the lack of customers. Food arrived very slowly, and later plates looked a little splattered and untidy. Thankfully, most of the food was very good. It's a journey of texture, fresh ingredients, and light & bright flavors. The Lobster Tail Roll ($36) had fried lobster bits, asparagus, avocado, masago, eel sauce, and mayo. It tasted like a vegetable roll at times. The Gyoza ($14 - 6 Piece) was panfried with seasoned pork and vegetables. Tasty!! And the Monaka Ice Cream ($7) is tiny with Macaroon Shell and a small scoop of Green Tea Ice Cream. All in all, these dishes didn't feel special, but they were prepared well enough. On ambiance, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is very attractive. The location is dimly lit, very clean, and spacious. However, the music is awkward at times. There were moments where light, lovely music was playing... only for random yelling music to briefly appear... to then suddenly be replaced with a country-style song. It all felt surreal. I don't think it was intended, but I think their music playlist was accidentally switched to the wrong track. Overall, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is an interesting experience. Honestly, the only reason this review is "5 Stars" is because our waitress was EXEMPLARY. Although the ambiance and cooking staff was lackluster, the front of house is MAGIC. This is a not bad, pricey place. 4.5 out of 5

I called to let them know and they were completely understanding! When we arrived, we were greeted and seated promptly. Waters were brought to the table quickly as well. The decor in this place is amazing! They were also playing really good music! We started with the combination carpaccio which was perfect because we each got to try the tuna, salmon and yellowtail. It was delicious! Then we ordered the Surf & Turf roll which is spicy crab and coconut shrimp, topped with seared Wagyu, truffle oil yuzu, and eel sauce--absolutely incredible! Next was the Kuwada roll which is crab, avocado and tempura flakes, topped with baked lobster, eel sauce, and masago. The presentation on this one was extraordinary--and the flavor was amazing! Finally we finished with the Shrimp Lover Roll which is crab shrimp tempura and cucumber, topped with shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo, and eel sauce--another winner! Jojo did an excellent job serving and clearing plates, as well as keeping our water filled! This place is a treasure and I can't wait to go back!

The space doesn't remind me of a sushi restaurant and more of a sports bar, but the space was playing the World Cup and was fit for the occasion. Their AYCE is a great price ($39.99), excluding their premium sushi rolls. Since I refrain from ordering rolls at an AYCE, this part didn't bother me much. We maxed out all the limited items, which was very generous, however, I wasn't sure of how many rounds were available, or how many pieces total were going to be included in the limited items, so we ended up with a LOT of nigiri. Our service was great, but spotty at several times. I loved all the nigiri items, especially the peppered salmon, ikura, and halibut. I'd pass on the red clam nigiri, and the fried appetizers as they were big portions but very filling! Delicious melt in your mouth pieces of yellowtail and salmon were the highlights for me. My friends enjoyed their unagi, and our friend's daughter enjoyed all the cooked items. Overall, I could say I understand the appeal of the restaurant!

I find that sometimes places will overcompensate with adding different touches when it's not necessary. I would have liked if the course ended with tomago since thats what I am used to at more traditional places. We received complimentary cheesecake at the end one matcha and one yuzu. If you had to pick, I would definitely opt for the Matcha! - Ambiance: The vibe was casual, I felt like they welcomed you as you are. No need to dress up, the focus is on the food. I did appreciate the chef made people waitlist so his attention could focused on my party of 4, this was a nice touch. - Service: We love the two chefs that were there, they explained each fish and put on a show when they brought out the smoke!!
