It looked like she's the only person taking orders since the other workers saw us but kept on doing whatever they were doing. If you don't mind waiting a little like myself, it's a definite must try if you enjoy a chewier textured type of dough in your donuts or would just like to give a new type of donut a try. I don't usually judge too hard on the service staff in places like these since they're mostly mom and pop owned. I came after noon on a Sunday and they only had 1 chocolate covered donut left, which the worker said this was the last one (basically implying there weren't anymore coming, but he was wrong). Fast forward to eating the donut, it tasted dry and not fresh - a big disappointment. I also ordered the 6pc hash browns, a croissant breakfast sandwich, and another donut. The only thing that tasted good were the hash browns. The sandwich was burnt and overcooked! Why the 2-star review? The service was not top notch. The front house staff looked like he didn't want to be there, was on his phone, and was basically checked out. The other team members preparing orders did not do well too. One couple before me had their breakfast re-done at least 3 times, and in the end made my order come out later. The quality control for their food line is lacking and needs to improve. I don't think I'll come back any time soon unless it's in another state.

I used to buy doughnuts from this place all through th 1990's they 'WERE' the 'BEST'. The business changed hands and the new owners stopped making all of my favorites, (sticky buns, muffins, cookie and delicious cinnamon rolls). The quality also changed the homemade unique taste is all gone. Last week I stopped there at 6:00 in the morning to buy doughnuts, while driving I decided to eat a french crueller, it was ice cold and stale obviously left over from the day before. I won't be going to Tommy's any more. They should change the name! Tommy is gone I don't know who these people are. But it ain't Tommy's Doughnuts any more! read more

My son knew I was bringing cupcakes and told his classmates but I never showed. I'll still drop them off tomorrow but kind of disappointed. Not sure if I have a third chance left in me lol. The cupcakes look tasty though.
