My family decided after the movie to eat something. We went to Tony C and we were studying the menu outside when an employee asked if we had any questions about the menu. I asked a question and he answered and he went inside the restaurant. My family and I went inside and an employee didn't offer to seat us. We waited and no one showed up so we seated ourselves. We sat down and no one came with menus for 10 minutes. I saw employees standing at the entrance chatting with each other. Finally someone showed up. He handed us a menu not offering to take our drink order. Another waiter took our order. We all ordered iced tea and lemons. We got the tea and no lemon I asked for it again. The pizza was cold when we got it. It was by the slice so it didn't seem to be fresh. Their other item prices are expensive. I will take my family someplace else next time. It would be nice if there is an enthusiastic wait staff and someone is at the door to seat people. read more

This is my first time trying Tony C's, and let me just say...it was delicious! The ambiance is great, the inside is so cool and the set-up of the tables is so fancy! The staff there are very much attentive and make sure everything is top notch. My waiter, Matthew was beyond amazing. He was very attentive, checked up on us throughout the meal and made us aware of the specials that day (Tuesday's are BOGO) and specials throughout the week. I was very pleased and very impressed. We stopped in for Mother's Day and luckily found a seat at the bar, the place was crowded. Wait staff was great and our Caesar salad was one of the best we have had. Now to the Pizza. We ordered the Mama Mia pizza. We like to rate pizza on the following: Crust, Cheese, Sauce and Taste. Crust - 9 out of 10. Nice texture, firm but not too stiff. Nice air pockets on the edges. Cheese - 6 out of 10. Pretty average. The menu said it came with extra cheese but didn't look like it. Sauce - 6 out of 10. Once again, pretty basic sauce. Really didn't taste it when eating. Taste - 8 out of 10. We demolished the pizza. Overall we would rate the experience at 8/10. Staff was great, beer was cold, salad great and pizza just average. Great pizza here. We are pizza fanatics, and the coal fired oven here should let you know what kind of pizza they are making. When we went, service was actually rather slow (I think our pizzas took 30-40 minutes to come out), but the food was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the prosciutto and goat cheese pizza but what I actually got was a bacon and goat cheese pizza. I also ordered the penne alla vodka which is supposed to have prosciutto in it but instead that came with little chopped up pieces of pork. I understand that this might be due to COVID, but if that's the case then you should update your menu and prices cause there's no way I'm paying $16 for a bacon pizza. The pizza was good but you can't charge for premium ingredients and then not put them in the dishes. The meals come with an entree (fettuccini Alfredo for us), salad, and garlic twists. All were delicious. The house wine, Chianti, was pretty good. That's where the good fizzles out. I had an appetizer they called a Stromboli that resembled a flattened hot pocket which is not complementary to the hot pocket because that actually taste better. A couple of the meats were pretty good but as for the crust I have had cardboard that tasted better. The marinara/pizza sauce tasted something like what resembles cheap generic jarred sauce. No flavor in the sauce that resembled garlic or onion. My wife did enjoy your salad but that how can you mess up chopped up lettuce fresh veggies and some little dinky chunks of meat. As for the pizza, I have had better frozen pizza from the grocery. The pan That it was served on was singed, burned, and unappetizing. They call the pizza "the carnivore" but I have found the same name of pizza far better at Pizza Hut. Their attempt to be a frufru pizza house fails miserably. We came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. First visit to this location, but we've been to their other location in the Bee Cave area. We ordered the pepperoni pizza, so we could compare it to the other location, since this one is so much closer. The pizza was fantastic! It is NY style thin with a a nice sauce, but the crust was perfect! It definitely beat the other location, due to the great crust. It was thin and light, but still had a good chew to it, don't know how they did it but there it was. The Peroni on draft went great with the pizza as well. They have a patio as well for the cooler days, which are hopefully coming soon. We'll be coming back here for our pizza fix on a regular basis. We took a couple of slices home and it passed the next day pizza left over test, still tasted yummy. read more

Great family meal for $40. We got the chicken parm with a Caesar salad. This is good for a couple meals, very tasty. Was a little disappointed that they let burnt garlic knots out the door, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Since it was burnt, couldn't taste any garlic, just burn. We also got their fried ravioli. Since we had to reheat it did t come out as good as it should have, there was no cheese. I hope all of the cheese didn't deep out during the fry. But have high hopes when we actually get to the restaurant to try the food right out of the oven. We still have leftovers. This is enough for a couple meals. read more

I wasn't very happy that my wife was able to convince me to spend around $25 for an average sized pizza. However, I must say that the pizza here is very good. They use fresh ingredients and keep the pizza pretty traditional. Although the pie seemed a bit skimpy with the toppings, it still tasted great. I'd say that if you're with company that likes to spend more on better service and a nicer ambience, this would be a great place to take them. Classy pizza place that's really conveniently located. This place is located in the strip mall right outside of Avery Ranch and is probably the nicest place in that area. The inside is incredibly clean and has a really classy vibe. I walked in, in my nike shorts and t-shirt, and thought I might've been underdressed. Although, after walking in a little further, I'm sure my casual dress was perfectly fine. We came in about two hours before close on a weeknight (I don't remember exactly when) and found the place to be fairly empty. My family and I split two medium pizzas- the Truffle Shuffle, and the Mama Mia. While I found the Mama Mia to be fairly simple, a typical pepperoni and sausage pizza, I was really impressed by the Truffle Shuffle. It was nice and creamy and incredibly flavorful. If you go there, I would definitely recommend getting the Truffle Shuffle. The staff was also really friendly. Overall, was really impressed with this place and will be coming back again soon! read more
