I will admit that we originally planned to go to Brooklyn Heights for our daughter's 14th birthday party but the manager flatly refused to even consider a large party on a Friday. I explained that we were going to be coming there with 26 people and would like to give them a heads up. So... my wonderful husband with amazing foresight and 25 years of experience realized we should NOT go there. So we didn't and Tony C's in Avery Ranch across the street got all of our business. And the servers got 30% tip. Zoe and Michelina were amazing. The owner/manager onsite was also super attentive and helpful. I am so glad we did not give Brooklyn Heights our business tonight. Had a pizza delivered awhile back. What showed up was pretty gross. Rather than post a negative review, I contacted management directly via email and received a reply from the owner. He was apologetic and said this was pizza was not up to their standards but also blamed the delivery service. He said he would mail a gift card for the inconvenience. Definitely 5+ stars! I randomly chose this place for Valentine's Day and it was a great choice! We went to the Avery Ranch location. Everyone was very friendly. Lucky us it was buy one get one free pizzas! We had the vegetarian and chicken pesto pizzas. They were delicious! The Greek salad was great as well. This place really made a great first impression on us. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the host who invited us to sit anywhere we pleased. We had the distinct pleasure of having Evelyn as our server. She is so sweet and attentive and made sure we had everything we need. I really like that she asked if this was our first time there. I had the large cheese pizza which was delicious and a phenomenal value at $14. The girl had the lasagna and her mum had the eggplant parm. We also ordered the garlic knots which were half off for happy hour. The knots are ridiculously good. Everyone loved their meals and had leftovers to bring home. This spot has been on our list for awhile, and we finally went in for the first time last night, and we're already thinking about when we'll be back! We were quickly seated on the patio, which was clean and well-shaded. The staff was exceptional - very welcoming, had great wine suggestions based on our preferences, and checked in regularly. They have a great wine selection that's reasonable priced with Italian options you don't see on all menus. The pizza is incredible. We ordered the funghi - the crust is perfectly soft and chewy, yet thin and crispy on the edges. And toppings were generous without being too much for the thin crust. They have BOGO pizzas on Tuesday's and half off bottles on wednesdays - both seem like a pretty great deal for the quality you're getting. Just ordered from uber eats. I normally love love love this place . The fettuccine Alfredo is so good. But we ordered tonight and had it delivered and we got greasy noodles with no Alfredo. The rest of the food was good . Our pizza was cold but that is a delivery issue. I would definitely recommend this place but this time was a pretty sad experience. Overpriced, but, it is Avery Ranch. My first experience here was a while back. I ordered a salmon salad which I enjoyed. We decided to come in for supper since we had a 20% off coupon. I must say that I am puzzled by all the raving reviews. Maybe we caught them on a bad night? The place wasn't that busy with only four tables having customers. The bar had the most seating. We were seated in a back corner and got the worst waitress in the house. It was happy hour so I ordered a Merlot for $8 a glass and we got the stuffed mushrooms for $6. For our main course sidekick got a house salad and Fettuccine Alfredo ($12) add shrimp ($6+) plus he asked for mushrooms ($1.50), artichoke hearts ($1.50) and diced tomatoes (I'll touch back on these. Keep reading). I ordered the Chicken Scarpiello ($15). After some time our waitress comes back to the table to tell sidekick that the kitchen said "We can't do diced tomatoes. We only have sliced.". Yes, you read that correctly. I was shocked. I was thinking "Hell, bring them to me, I'll dice 'em!". The manager comes by and sidekick brings this to his attention. He nods in agreement with what the waitress told us and has an attitude like we were bothering him. Then sidekick asks "Don't you have a kitchen back there?". Mr jerk manager goes "Look, you want diced tomatoes I'll get you diced tomatoes.". [ It needs to be pointed out that entrees had already been served by this time]. Sidekick was like "no, I shouldn't have to ask twice for them.". Jerk (I'm annoyed by you attitude) manager looks at me and says "Well, well.". And walks off! WTF!! The house salad was really good and actually had more than just arugula in it. It had cucumbers, garbanzo beans, onions, peppers and tomatoes. Good stuff. Actually pretty impressive for a house salad. The stuffed mushrooms were good except for the tomato marmalade topping. Way too sweet. I had to scrape that off to enjoy the sausage meatball stuffing. My dish was a disappointment. It was a chicken breast with sausage, sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes and spaghetti in a tomato sauce. The chicken was dry and tough, the noodles were over cooked, the sauce was too sweet, and, the Italian sausage was a bit much. The flavors didn't go well at all. Actually made me think I was at a low end Italian place. Did not like the dish at all AND I found a ziti noodle buried in the spaghetti!! WTF? Cross contamination going on in that kitchen? Another let down was our waitress never offered up any fresh pepper or Parmesan. In fact, we didn't see her for quite a long while after she delivered the food. As for sidekicks $21 dish, he liked it for the most part. He was obviously disappointed that he couldn't get diced tomatoes in a restaurant. He said that would have made his dish better. But But But But But!!!! You ain't gonna believe this shit. He found a fucking ziti noodle buried in his fettuccine!! I shit you not!!! Look at my pics!! I would say overall this was a 3.5 star experience however my priorities lie heavy on the happy hour menu and the wine list and in those two areas they do not fall short. I have been to the Galleria location a couple times and am a big fan of their house salad. Today I dined at this new location and shared an order of garlic knots, tomato bruschetta and tried a bite of Jesse's baked ziti with sausage. We hit the tail end of happy hour which means $2 off wines by the glass and $3 off all appetizers. Since the knots and tomato bruschetta were on happy hour they ran $2 for the knots and $6 for the generous serving of bruschetta. My two glasses of wine were $5 a pop during happy hour (tried a malbec and a Chianti). The garlic knots were delicious and heavy on the garlic, served with warm marinara sauce. I was a big fan of the tomato bruschetta! It had finely diced tomatoes, black olives, goat cheese, light garlic and a hint of red wine vinegar. The ziti was a bit chewy and bland but had ample gooey cheese. Not only do they have an extensive wine list but they also serve wine flights running $9-$11 for a tasting of 3 but they also sell 1/2 price bottles of wine on Wednesdays. I believe the least expensive bottle runs $28, stop in on a Wednesday and ordering a pizza and bottle to share would make a reasonably priced date night. Our waiter Josh always seemed to be right on time and in good spirits. That is always a plus to an already decent dining experience. The tabbing out was done via an iPad and you have the options of having your receipt emailed to you or printed. Notes: They have a patio but I am not sure if it is dog friendly. It is loud inside so I would recommend sitting outside with larger groups. read more

I don't leave a ton of reviews but this place is great. And because of the great service I'd like to leave a review. We have gotten takeout here many times. Food is always great, love the zucchini appetizer and they have great pizza. Last night we ordered online and headed over to pick it up. Unbeknownst to us the order was cancelled so we asked why once we got there. Manager came out and explained that they were originally out of gluten free dough but got some more in. Pricey, but you pay for the ambience and the service is good. Good wine selection and small menu. I've been for happy hour, lunch and dinner. The food is fine. The pizza has a nice crust, but can be soggy if it has a lot of toppings. The sauces are on the sweet side and the pastas are overcooked for my taste. I prefer pastas more al dente. Tips for a good experience: -HH til 7PM. They have a bustling atmosphere that is more upscale than most bars in Cedar Park. The wine and beer bar is small so I suggest a table inside or outside. The garlic knots are the best on the appetizer menu, although I find their marina sauce to be on the sweet side. -Tuesday is BOGOF on any pizza. My favorite is the meatball pizza. The meatball is very zesty and flavorful here. -Wednesday is 1/2 off all bottles. They have a good selection, with the lowest being about $30. -$9 Lunch specials including drink. The meatball sub was great and the Parmesan fries were crispy. If you are only looking for a couple slices of pizza, there better and cheaper places nearby. So why come here? Sometimes, you just want to dine in a more upscale environment or enjoy a nice glass of wine or cocktail. read more

I met a friend here for dinner last night, and had superb service. I cannot recall the name of our waitress; but she was fantastic! My friend and I split a LOVELY bottle of wine, so reasonably priced. We also shared the Greek salad, which was served in a brimming bowl for each of us, and we had the small vegetarian pizza, which was two slices too much for us to finish. The best part is that we were able to linger and catch up without being hurried by anyone at all. The manager checked on us periodically; and there was nothing we could want for. If there were no meatballs in the spaghetti- it would of been a bland plate of- well not much. Although the debatable for the evening being my trying to defend Tony C's for the mere fact that pasta really doesn't have any flavor without a good sauce. and well....flat. Besides that the sauce served on the spaghetti seemed to be the exact same sauce served with the garlic knots and fried ravioli. ( i say fried- because those were far, far, from "toasted"). Little to no cheese in the ravioli and well. grease spilled out of every bite. So much so that it burned the side of my lip. ...as for the garlic knots. thank goodness they were free with my yelp check in, because they were merely massive chunks of dough with no garlic flavor what so ever. Edgy designed interior with a hopping waiter staff and very interested managers willing to please. We popped in for lunch to scope C's out for future dinning occasions. Though I only had the Arugula and Beet salad that I have everywhere it give me a good idea on quality and flavors. Fired crusted Goat Cheese. Enough said. The salad was great but the cheese alone pushed my stars to five. I'm looking forward to going back for their coal oven inspired dishes. To have a mid range restaurant with nice ambience and a kids play area in the cedar park area is quite a refreshing scene. This is what drew me to this restaurant on Mother's Day. Thankfully for us, there was room despite not making reservations. You get free garlic knots with a Yelp check in, so I obviously went for that. Wine flights are $10, $11 and $12 depending on the type - White wine is the cheapest of the flights, and they will sub out a wine that you don't want with something that you'd like. The Malbec, and two other reds I had were pretty nice for the price. The garlic knots were more like Cinnabon rolls- was this because they're free? They didn't look anything like the pics other reviewers have posted, and didn't really taste all that great, but I'm willing to get past that. We got the fig and honey 12 inch - comes with figs, lavender honey and mascarpone cheese (we subbed the ham for artichoke). If you haven't tried something like this before , I highly recommend that you do. Figs and honey go really well together with cheese and dough. It tastes even better with a dash of red pepper flakes on the slice. Very well constructed pizza ! The place was sort of empty for Mother's Day dinner , but our waiter was polite and efficient ; he never left us waiting unnecessarily. They seem to have this problem sorted out. The prices are kind of mid range - I think this is where is restaurant is still trying to find itself ; they're neither casual nor upscale. It works fine but it's difficult to classify. However this means you can bring a date and sit indoors, or bring your kids and let them run wild outside while enjoying a meal. I'd take advantage of the happy hour if I were you for sure. We spent over $80 on a take out order, we ordered a variety of items from Mushrooms, Meatballs, Buttered Noodles, Garlic Knots and a couple of Pizzas. First off ALL the food was cold to the touch... now I understand the take out food won't be "Piping hot" but cold to the touch is unacceptable. My round trip from home to store is about 10mins or 4 miles at best. The mushrooms were undercooked to the point we didn't feel safe eating them and had a sour tasting lemon sauce that did NOT pair well. The Meatballs came in a container of 3 Meatballs for $9.99!?! Besides the ridiculous pricing on these, they were cold and underwhelming in flavor. The Buttered noodles were also cold and were not "buttered"... they were oiled and thin like Angel hair pasta. Both Pizzas we ordered lacked ANY flavor and or sauce and we have honestly had better from Domino's. As for me and my family I reached out to management and the responded with a laughable $50 gift card. I think I may give this card away as a gift to someone because WE will never spend another dime here nor will we recommend this place to anyone else. Save your hard earned money on something you'd actually enjoy. Tony C's is a place that means well. The pizzas taste good, and the restaurant looks nice inside. Unfortunately, the service here (particularly the bar staff) is not up to par. Someone at Tony C's "lost the ticket" on my carry-out order. With this breakdown in process, I got to awkwardly stand in "where the hell is my pizza?" purgatory in the entryway for one hour and ten minutes, all of them after the quoted pickup time. My 5 and 3 year-olds, who had just finished long days at preschool, mostly enjoyed playing and playing and playing on the patio, but they were hungry as hell when we were finally given pizzas at approximately 7 pm. I want to give a one star salute to the bartender for excellence in "Not Giving a Damn" about carryout customers. Having pissed-off customers stewing in the lobby for absurd lengths of time must be so common at Tony C's that it doesn't warrant a brief stop to check on an order. Nope, gotta keep those blinders on and keep pouring wine and collecting those tips! In what universe does it take one hour and 35 minutes to make two pepperoni pizzas? How do you lose someone's ticket, and then never bother to doublecheck on the order? Who is training these people? What went wrong here? There is a humble Gattis Pizza location about 100 yards from Tony C's. There's no fancy coal oven or refrigerated wine cellar at Gattis. They don't have an army of cooks, a gm, two bartenders, multiple hosts, and a room full of waiters. These guys, however, have never lost my ticket, or made me stand there like a fool while a whole evening is pissed away. They quote a 15 minute pickup, and, when you arrive 15 minutes later, you get your pizza and go. The pie at Tony C's tastes better, no doubt, but when I need a couple of pizzas at Parmer and Avery Ranch, I know where I am going to go. I don't care to enjoy another evening like my last one at Tony C's, and I hope none of you ever have to either. read more

The garlic knots were REALLY good, but I agree with Amy D's opinion of the Baked Ziti w/ Sausage. It is super cheesy and gooey but lacking flavor. The margarita pizza was ok, but lacking cheese! HAHA Happy Hour would most likely be the best time for this place since appetizers are 3$ off or if you split a meal with someone. Otherwise I'm still going to have to stick w/ Brooklyn Heights (once they re-open again) for an affordable lunch. Nice place with really low quality dining. - The Calamari was bland, cold and chewy, definitely started as frozen Calamari, which after being fried sat and got cold before it arrived at our table. - The stacked salad ought to be good right? The Ahi was not fresh, my guess is that it was probably frozen too, so the texture was really weird. Also the stacked salad with the two huge crackers is ridiculously inconvenient to eat. The manager just said once the food leaves their restaurant, it is no longer their responsibility. Toast just directs calls to the restaurant for refunds, so horrible customer service, the customer gets screwed!!! What a wonderful place to dine and wine!! The whole staff was courteous. Rachel, our server, took the time to explain everything and go over the specials. Every Tuesday they have buy 1, get 1 free pizza. We ordered Beet Arugula salad, the Truffle Shuffle and the Vegetarian Pizza. Everything was phenomenal. We told Rachel that this was our first time. Sometimes their food is good, sometimes their food is bad. No consistency. Once in a while, the pizza is moist and cheesy and good , other times. It's just a piece of cardboard with nearly burnt cheese on it. I had an order from DoorDash tonight delivered, and it's the worst piece of pizza I've ever had. For starters, it was cold when I got it and I live really close to them. The cheese was so over cooked. It was almost hard. There was hardly any sauce on the pizza.
