I went and got medication from my podiatrist first, but it was taking too long to work and gave me side effects so they worked their magic on me. First, they shaved them completely down and did an overcoat of acrylic. After a few months, the acrylic came off, and my toes were as good as new! Vicky is very friendly and accommodates me whenever I need an appointment. If anything chips or brakes, they fix them immediately when I walk in. I had to go back after 3 days because a few of my nails were lifting, they fixed it free of charge. However, just 4 days later, I was out of the country already and my nails started popping off one after another. By 3 days into my trip, I had only the thumbs remaining. I'm not kidding the nails were coming off clean, full nails. If this review were only about the technicians, it would be much higher. Unfortunately, the ongoing issue is scheduling and management. I always call ahead to book an appointment, but when I arrive there's often an excuse as to why I can't be seen on time. I'm frequently asked to wait an extra 20-30 minutes sitting in a chair, even though I had a confirmed appointment. It feels like the salon is consistently overbooked and understaffed. I don't think the staff is at fault they're clearly doing their best--but as a client, it's frustrating when time isn't respected. When you schedule an appointment, you expect to be seen close to that time, especially when you plan your day around it. I'm sharing this in hopes that management takes a closer look at how appointments are handled, because the team here really is great. Better scheduling would make a big difference.

I just wanted a simple manicure with regular polish -- nothing fancy -- and I really appreciated that no one made me feel judged for keeping it basic. The woman who did my nails was very sweet and helped me pick out a color that she said was popular and seasonal right now. I ended up loving the shade she suggested! It was so pretty and very Spring! The whole experience was wonderful. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The salon itself was also very clean, which I always notice and appreciate. She was understanding when I told her that I did not want gelX as I don't have a routine of getting my nails done. I got a deluxe pedicure by Tony. He was really great at the massage and callus treatment. However, I ended up with a small cut around the cuticle area and a few days after my pedicure, my toe is swollen and in pain. Embarrassed to post a photo, but it is what it is! There was some water that didn't get cleaned in between foot soak and rinsing, that could have contributed. Anyway, now my toe is infected and that is ultimately what brought my review down a couple of stars.
