Tony's Pizza is a great little place if you want to get pizza by the slice like i do which most pizza places don't offer. When it's midnight and every other place is closed i can always count on them being open late for a slice or two. read more

Service with a smile, the place is clean and the food was great! We had the Mediterranean pizza, Caesar salad & wings. The flavor of the crust was very nice, but coming from NY I like mine crispier. Others posted about the wait, but ours was not long at all. Menu priced reasonable and there is something for everyone including cold sandwiches & hot heroes. What a great find!!...was wandering around Dunedin on the 4th of July after the first two places I tried to eat at were closed for the Holiday....Walked in cause I saw in a rarity for Florida they sold Slices in numerous varieties!!...Figured even if its not good I am only out a few slices and not a whole Pie...turns out I should not have worried...this place is the real deal run by folks who know what they are doing..immediately the Owner put them in the Oven to get them piping hot again..then they had all the necessary add on's on the table..real parmesan cheese...red pepper..basil..oregano..and garlic powder....the crust was that thin but not to thin kind that you never see in Florida..crunchy just perfect...excellent sauce...great cheese and pepperoni and the requisite amount of "oil" that a real slice should have...up there with John's in New York and Regina Pizzeria in Boston in my book...must stop if you are in the Dunedin Area read more

Pizza was excellent! I would have given it five stars if the restaurant hadn't been so dirty. Floors dirty,garbage over flowing and tables not cleaned or food removed from previous customers. The girl up front was talking loudly to her co-worker about personal stuff and sitting around.....just think either one of them could've taken the time to at least clean the tables. This is my very first review. I ate at Tony's with my four year old daughter because of the reviews on Yelp. I was not disappointed and neither was she. The pizza is New York Style, but it's not as greasy as some of the other thin pizza's I've had, which I consider a plus. We only got a cheese but I would like to try some toppings at another time. Also, I think slices are the way to go, rather than a full pie. I am sure this place is super clutch after a drinking night at the Brewery or any other DT Dunedin spot. Not a lot of seating, but again I think this is more of a grab a slice and go type of place. Would go back for sure. read more

Tony's was one of the very few places around that had really good almost authentic NY style pizza. However the last two times I've been in there, the guy who is usually working has been so outrageously rude. I noticed his bad attitude last time I was in there, brushed it off and came back the other night. Same guy, again was working. No personality, SO RUDE and a nasty attitude. Told us it would be 45 minutes for a whole pizza so we just ordered slices. I was a little confused when I over heard him telling another patron who walked in after me that it would only be 20 minutes for a large pizza. Oh and another guy working there came out of the kitchen yelling at us that we couldn't sit at one of the tables to eat the slices we bought. Awful people, awful service. I don't know what happened to this place. Oh and FYI, they're definitely not Italian. Will never be back. They lost a loyal customer. read more

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! Our pizza was perfect - great cheese, crust was perfect. My husband loved the meat lovers. The place was constantly busy with walk-ins and take-outs. Great selection of toppings. House salad was ok - not a fan of plain green leaf lettuce and that's mainly what it was - the salad toppings were sparse (tomatoes, olives, cucumber, etc.). We'll be back though! My family had a terrible experience here: we bought a tiramisu for our nine year old daughter who had a few bites and complained that it did not taste right. When we examined it we found that it was covered with MOLD!! When my husband tried to point it out to the person at the front they said that it was powdered sugar! After I went and talked to them they finally admitted that it was mold, but not before making fun of my family for pointing out their terrible customer service and mistake. On 7/24/2016, My wife and I went in for a slice at 1:45 pm. We were the only two people there. My wife pointed at a pie and asked for a slice of cheese. The 20-something year old young woman behind the counter, rudely told her that that pie was not cheese but "white." My mice said, "okay, a slice of cheese please." I wanted a slice of pepperoni pizza and noted that there were 2 full pepperoni pies on display. I pointed to a big piece and said I would like that slice, please. She proceeded to pick a different, small slice on the other pie. I asked, again for the bigger slice. (Again, we were the only ones in the store. She said, 'I have to take the slice from the old one." Great, the old one. I said, I'm the customer and I'd like to buy that slice. She said that "technically", she didn't have to give me the slice I asked for. Jeez, she got even ruder from there and we decided to leave. Funny thing is, we have been frequent customers and enjoyed the pizza. Maybe the young woman was having a bad day, but the experience left us like we felt we wouldn't be returning anytime soon and would be going to Jets. read more
