This was honestly one of the worst KBBQ experiences I've had in terms of service. From start to finish, it felt like we were completely on our own. Empty plates piled up with no one coming by to clear them, and eventually a server just dropped a service tray next to us--so we ended up bussing our own table. Not once were we offered drink refills, and the only way to get any service was to flag someone down. Even then, we had to follow up multiple times just to get an update on our shrimp tempura, which arrived over 30 minutes into the meal. There were no grill changes offered, no check-ins, and several of our orders were either missed or forgotten entirely. And to top it off, this was dinner at 4:30 PM with a half-empty restaurant. Eek this place is so good! For the price, quality of the meat, and amount of sides you can order, this place truly cannot be beat! The brisket was amazingly soft and paired amazingly with the garlic dipping sauce, and the bulgogi was sweet and tasty. All the meats were of amazing quality! The side dishes are good as well, I enjoyed the radish wraps, and I love the variety of appetizers you can order. My table tried the cold noodles, KFC, soy garlic fried chicken, corn cheese (star of the night!), soybean soup, seafood pancake, shumai (a little fishy/frozen and not fresh), cheese stick, and the shit. Everything was really good! Some places really miss the mark on the corn cheese, but Top delivered it perfectly! The cold noodles were also a stand out, as I've never been to a place that gave cold noodles with KBBQ, and I definitely recommend! The staff was super nice and quick with the service! They were attentive and delivered everything excellently. I also really enjoyed that the music wasn't super loud at this place, and I didn't have to yell to talk to my friends! When I got home, I even feel like I didn't smell as much like BBQ. I definitely recommend Top Korean BBQ! Wanted to try this place since I saw a YouTube video on it and the positive reviews, also it was closer to our house than Chinatown. Was a little skeptical because we tried the neighboring Top Sushi and were not fans. To our surprise, we enjoyed it a lot. Not only were the flavors good, but the variety was expansive. There were so many things available that other places don't offer, it made it a lot of fun to try things like chicken gizzard skewers, soy fried chicken or spicy beef ramen. They even offer a $23.99 option which we tried the second time, and were well satisfied. What a deal! And it includes a Melona bar at the end. Service is super quick. We ordered some rice, and the second our server walked away, another person was dropping off the rice. Another bonus... they take reservations. Be prepared for a decent wait if you walk in during traditional dinner hours, as the place gets packed and stays packed. And they're open til 2am! But we made eye contact with every front of house staff and we were ignored. We stood around for 15 minutes until someone finally said something and sat us. After we sat, the server said, last call is 30 minutes...k So we ate and ordered as fast as we could. So I don't remember if anything ever tasted good. But the service could use some work. read more

Very cool ambiance and the smell when you walk in is great really sets your taste buds off. We ordered egg rolls to start and they were served hot and delicious not soggy at all and of course with a nice variety of sauces. We also ordered garlic shrimp and it comes in these little tins with garlic and butter you just put the whole thing on the grill and it begins cooking, well I think that's what you do. Well we did and it was great. We then got pork belly and beef both were delicious and we loved trying all the different sauces. They serve the thiniest Ribeye steak, I didn't enjoy at all. Food is ok but the loud rock music gave me a headache. Maybe it's their way so customers don't stay too long. They have 90 mins limit by the way so it's not like customers can stay forever. But same reason why I will not come back to this restaurant. We are obsessed with this place! We got massages at Thai Massage Pro (same shopping center) then came here to eat. They have 3 different tiers of meat you can choose from - which works for us because most of what we eat (pork belly) is on the first their. Yum! Next time I'll get a picture of the menu. 1st time trying this place.....my son wanted to treat me to lunch on Sunday, we were seated within 5 minutes (not too long) the server was nice but, could have been better with our drink refills since we had to keep asking him, my son asked for a sugar substitute for his tea and he had no idea what he was talking about. So, we asked for regular sugar and it was brought out in a black serving dish (not packets) which was a bit strange tbh so, for his refill he ordered lemonade and it was much better than the unflavored tea. When I walked in and stood at the counter a waitress came up and said they will get the table cleaned for me now mind you busier was there cleaning the table then he looked up and walked away, I thought he would be coming right back but know, then a waiter came to me and said it will be just a moment well a few minutes later the busier came out cleaning another table now mind you he did look at me again and continued cleaning the the other table not finishing the table I was going to sit at. When they were coming to our table to bring food they just dropped it off... literally. They were not very considerate. The music is very gangster rap and club like. Do not bring kids. Went in before the dinner rush. The service was on the slow side and maybe it was so to staffing before dinner. Staff was friendly enough. The food was okay, we had the A premium section the portions they bring out at a time per order are small, so if there is more than just 2 at your table I recommend getting 3 - 4 orders for the meats like - beef brisket, belly and tongue. The brisket sauce was good; the kids really enjoyed it. Melona bars are the only dessert options - they had strawberry, melon, mango and banana when we were there. I use to love going there but lately the service has gone downhill. We walked in and noticed two tables being unused even though the restaurant was full. They made us wait 10 minutes for table that had just been used and didn't even clean it properly telling us to sit at a wet table that still had food remnants from the last diner. Then the food we ordered came late to the table because it was sitting there before anyone noticed and it was cold by the time we got it. The restaurant was cold on a hot day - not uncomfortably so either. The atmosphere was super laid back. The music was a little loud, but let's be honest...with food this good. Will you really be doing a lot of talking? I was too busy stuffing my face. The cooking tables were decent sized and clean. The food quality and flavors were exceptional. The meat was quality and they cut it perfectly thin so it cooks well! I normally don't do Seaweed salad and decided to take my chances. I don't do well with slimy seaweed salad. My wife and I dined at Top Korean BBQ on December 5, 2025, and unfortunately, our experience fell far below expectations. After being seated, we waited approximately 20 minutes before a server approached our table to take our order. While delays can happen, what followed reflected a concerning lack of attention to basic service standards. Despite placing our order, 15 additional minutes passed without us receiving water. I asked a runner if we could have some, and although he assured us it would be brought right away, anther 10 minutes went by with no follow-through. Our food, including appetizers, began arriving, yet we still had not been provided with water. We also had not received our rice or salad, and the seasoning tray was missing salt. I addressed the issue with our server a second time, noting that we had been waiting more than 20 minutes for something as simple and essential as water. Eventually, the rice and salad arrived, but the water still did not. At this point, the situation had become quite frustrating. Water is a basic accommodation and should be served promptly, ideally before any faad is brought out. The server explained that it was the runner's responsibility, but when a guest has requested water multiple times and has waited nearly 25 minutes, it would seem reasonable for any staff member to take initiative and resolve the issue promptly. By the time we finally received water, our food had already turned cold, and the overall dining experience was significantly diminished. Unfortunately, due to the consistent lack of attention and the disruption this caused to our meal, my wife and I have decided that we will not be returning to thig establishment. The meat and side dishes are good, but the service could be better. Me and my wife come here to eat about twice a month or more than that. We always get the cheapest option AYCE because we only eat the plain beef brisket but still leave a decent tip(18-20%). I don't want to judge but I feel each time we come back, they are purposely dragging on our order. I don't think they like that we always get the cheapest option which is 23.99, it's either that or they are always understaffed and they get more customers than they can handle. Last time we dined, we waited 30 minutes for our 2nd batch of meat while watching the tables around us get theirs. I lost my appetite so did my 6 month pregnant wife. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed because we didn't even get any type of apology. I still left a decent tip but man, I'm probably not coming back in this place, such a shame because this is the only korean bbq that's open til 2am in my area. SMH. Great kbbq nearby for a quick fix! They have 3 different choices. The last 2 has more options and more premium meats like NY strip or intestines. We went there for lunch and just wanted to satisfy our cravings so we stuck with the basics. However, there is plenty of appetizers, soups, salads, and etc to choose from. They even have ramen. I didn't get to try it this time around but looking forward to it. House salad tasted good! Had it twice. Calamari was okay. The "shit" was good. We didn't do too much apps because we didn't want to get full right away. The basic menu didn't have too much of a selection but we didn't care. We just wanted brisket and pork belly anyways. Turned out good with that secret spicy sauce they had! That was addicting. I can eat anything with that sauce all day. It's not even that spicy fyi. Pork jowl was good. We cut it into small pieces and fried it. Sooooo good! Thi was a great server! She was so nice to help us on our first time here. Service was amazing. I don't know where to begin with this. Came with a large party of 8 and we sat in the corner of the restaurant. Our waitress was absent for the majority of the service. She did not check in on us. We had to ask other employees for help. It got to a point where one of her coworkers got really annoyed with her and came up to us and said she did not know where the waitress was and hadn't been able to find her. She even said it again at the end of the service and told us not to tip. Normally it'd be ideal to keep it professional but the fact that her own coworker was frustrated and upset by this waitress constantly dipping on tables says a lot. The service killed it for us here. It felt like we were sitting at a time out table. Now.. on the outside of the restaurant, one of the windows says "갈비탕" which is basically short rib soup. This got me so excited because I've never seen any kbbq AYCE serve that soup before. But when I looked at the menu, I didn't see it listed at all. I asked the waitress that kept disappearing on us and all she said was and i quote, "I don't know." Now on to the food.. a lot of the meat were thick cuts which was good. The main gripe is.. some of the items we ordered were supposed to be marinated. However, when they gave us the platter, it wasn't marinated it was meat with sauce drizzled on top and not covering all of the meat on top of that. The LA marinated short rib was actually marinated and it was good. The soybean paste stew was pretty good as well. Now the last part is the heat. It was ridiculously hot in the restaurant. I don't know if it's because we were seated at the corner of the restaurant or what but we were all sweating from head to toe.
