I was not pleased when the first lady did my nails and my wife was getting stared at i really don't like that. Then a second lady came and helped me. She basically re did my nails all over, shaping filing, adding acrylic in some spots. I felt rushed and I don't like to be rushed when paying for services. I asked for the to be fixed and without hesitation they were. I am very happy with them and my wife and i's pedicure were amazing. They took there time and detailed, nice massage while they are doing them. I would recommend if you are particular let them know ahead of time. The 2 younger women are really amazing. They are a nail salon and they do a GREAT pedicure! This is one of the best pedicures I have gotten in my 10 years of pedicure hopping in Sacramento! I get pedicures about every 3 weeks and when I find a place I love, I stick with it until something changes. It was time to look around again and I found a new winner! The chairs are nice and do a perfect massage. The equipment is clean and organized. My biggest star earning treatment is the rough heel removal and they did it (and not with razor)! The location is in a strip mall and it does not stand out. The decor is very plain with white walls. I took 1 star off because the staff speaks in their native language to each other and not much at all to the customers. It is pretty silent in there! It makes it a little uncomfortable. Also because the selection of polish color is small. I will be back though and I will bring my headphones or a good book (& maybe my own polish color)! read more

I did the supreme pedicure! I'm pregnant and really wanted to treat myself. My nail tech was a male and he really took his time! I was in the chair for about 1 hr and a half. I've been looking all over for a good place for a pedicure and I think I have finally found it! Hopefully I get the same results next time I come back! My pedicure was $40 but they did a long massage with hot rocks, paraffin dip and wrapped my legs in hot towels. I have NEVER been treated so poorly . I came to Top Nails for the first time . Wanted a full set of gel nails . The shop had just opened and I was told by Older lady with graying updoe. I'm not sure if this is her real name .that is why I leave a discription . 50 ish with graying black updoe hair style. Julie seemed hurried , as I learned they were down 2 employees . I Felt extremely uncomfortable . I was hurried off and as I stoped to look at my nails , they looked like I needed a fill ASAP . I don't want to complain in the business in front of other customers as a curtacy for them . I called from my car and said I was very unsatisfies . Told I could return when I was able , as I was due to work . Appointment took 2 hours. I was able to return a few days later , called to arange an appointment and was told by a very kind Cathy , noproblem come in at an appointment we set. I return ...and Kelly , the angry woman before begines repairing my nails . I go with this because I had faith they wanted to right a wrong. Kelly was so curt and emotionless , no communication at all . I tryied to say a few words , received nothing . At this point I'm numb and have already desided not to return. I had a gel pedicure done here on Sunday and by Wednesday two of my toenail polish had come off. What a waste of $50. I would've just painted them myself. I told the lady she got the gel nail polish on the sides and she just filed it and said it's ok now. Yeah it was okay for that day then it lifted off. This was my 2nd time here, after having a bad experience the first time and deciding to give them another try. No more tries. I went in at 5:45pm, they close at 7pm so it wasn't a time thing, at least I don't think. First, I'm pretty sure the gel color I chose wasn't the color going on my nails, but I ignored it because the color seemed very similar from my angle. He kept digging his nail around my nail, I assume because he was getting polish all over my skin. It hurt! He finally showed me the nails and asked if I wanted a 3rd coat, which made me realize that the polish was really light and streaky so I went with a 3rd coat. After I left, my nails looked "okay" but it was also night and I was tired. The next morning I noticed just how bad they were! The polish is on my fingers, which is lifting and gets caught in my hair when I touch my hair. There is debris and little hairs he painted over. The shape of my nails are all over the place; some square, some round and some oval. The color is still streaky even after 3 coats. I don't get my nails done often, it's a treat for myself so I'm really disappointed that I either have to deal with this until they grown out or go get them redone. read more

The service today was below average, mike did a full set acrylic with white tips, he was so rough that 2 of my fingers were bleeding because of the nail file directly on my fingers. He charged me extra because I asked him for narrow nails. Several of the nails are crooked. I didn't want him to fix them I just wanted to leave. I will not be going back. read more

I've been to a few nail places around the area, but this is the best one I've been to so far. I walked in, was immediately greeted, and helped (Kelly was the one to do my nails.) The atmosphere was also much better than other nail salons I have been to (it's well ventilated and the staff is pretty friendly!). Since I never get my nails done, I decided to treat myself and get a gel full set...and I really believe Kelly did a wonderful job. She was very sweet and took her time to make sure I was fully satisfied with my nails before I paid and left. I love getting the pedicures and she does a great job in my eyebrow wax. She contours the brow shape to the shape of my whole face. My face is round, so the arch's of the brows are slightly up which gives a dramatic and fresh new look to my complexion. I used to live in Roseville where I met her and her wonderful team. I now live in Elk Grove, so I commute to see Kathy because she's one of the best that I have ever had: HANDS DOWN!!! Keep up the work you guys. I love there place. I walked in and showed a picture of what I wanted they told me they could do what was in the picture. My nails look nothing like what I showed the lady. I get my nails done all the time and I am so disappointed how they came out. I let her know I was not happy with my nails and she then started all over again to still not look like what was in the picture. Seriously... I'm not too big on giving 5 stars... But I will say.. After trying almost a handful of salons in the Roseville area... Top Nails has been the Best! The other reviews about Kathy and Mike being a great team isn't a lie... They made sure I was well taken care of... I went in kind of disappointed w/ my full set which had previously been done 2 weeks prior from a place in the same area I won't mention any names lol (then overhauled by another salon) which was Lilys ...I then decided to try one last place and I'm so glad I did. Mike and Kathy made sure to find out exactly what I wanted and took the time to really figure out the least painful way to remove my acrylic set and that alone was impressive... Not too many salons are too sensitive to customers sensitivity to pain lol. The thing I enjoyed the most was the fact that they really took the time and made sure I was completely satisfied before I left... Here's the best part Gel polish is reasonable Basic Pedi 25.00 consist of a nice massage With the spa chair (that actually worked lol) Also warm stones that followed And the quality of polish that they use is great !! I just received one the best gel manicures and pedicures I have ever had. First of all let me explain that I called on a Sunday at 2:30PM trying to make an appointment last minute for myself and my sister(they close @ 5PM on Sun); when I called they must have all been with clients because I got a voice mail which I hung up on and did not leave a message. No sooner did I hang up the phone and Kathy called me back asking if she could help me; In which she did by let me know that she could and would get me & my sis in on last minutes notice for a mani pedi.. No problem. I found the facility to very clean and the staff quite nice. Even though they were very busy I did not have to wait but 10 minutes (I needed to pick a color). Peter was fantastic with the pedicure and foot massage (basic pedi also included hot stone massage too) & Elly was fabulous when it came to my manicure. I couldn't ask for better service. And I will be going back! Oh I paid ... Gel manicure $25.00 and basic pedicure $25.00, with both pedicure and manicure they did a great job on my cuticles and making sure I was happy along every step of the way... Shape and length. I use to go here all of the time. I stopped going because the service went downhill. The polish would be painted into my cuticles and would grow out with a ridge. My mom use to go however, they cut her and she had an infection because of it. We will not be back. read more

Dang it. I really liked this place. I had gotten a couple pedicures here before that were great, but yesterday I went in and got another one that I just did not enjoy. The girl dug at my big toe, which was extremely uncomfortable at the time, and now it's throbbing and red, showing the early signs of infection. WHY do they have to dig like that??? It's so gross and painful! I will probably go back because their massage chairs are awesome and their customer service is wonderful, but I will be sure to tell them not to dig at my toes! read more

I've had pedicures at probably 5 places in the area and this is the BEST! My nail polish lasts 4 weeks easily, so I can wait 5 weeks in between. The massage is long and feels great. The staff are so friendly and make you feel like you are their priority. Yes, they do talk in their native language but I didn't get the feeling that they were talking about ME. ;) I asked for a french pedicure and the man who did it did such an excellent job. But, the last 4 or 5 times I've gotten a pedicure here, my polish chips off in WHOLE pieces 2 or 3 days after. It's super frustrating to spend $35 on a pedi that doesn't even last a week. I was super happy with this salon! First thing I liked was that you could understand them when you call for an appointment. Very nice on the phone. They actually called me back later, to ask if I could come earlier, which I was happy to do. Mike did the manicure....,he did a great job, was very gentle, and personable. He didn't even get annoyed when I wrecked one of my nails while I was drying them. :-( He cheerfully redid that nail. The place is clean and nice, and they have a huge Sony TV which is playing beautiful nature films. I needed a fill, but since I have powder nails, and gel polish, he had to sand my nails to get the color off, before the fill. He was very careful not to go through to my real nails.
