Our toilet flooded due to blocked sewer line on Sunday night. These guys came out soon after calling and correctly diagnosed the problem. Due to late night we rescheduled for the next morning. Next morning I was able to open the cleanout and was able to unblock the small amount of debris in the line and sewer line became operational. I called back and they said no problem at all. My instant hot water dispenser failed. Alpha male, aka Israel, came to install it for me this morning. The new replacement I bought requires a tad larger hole in the countertop, so Israel could not install the new item. He stayed and helped me call at least 10 countertop people who all said no to doing a small job. It's not yet resolved and I still need the larger hole, and it will get done. I chose Top Rank Plumbing because they had such excellent reviews. When I called I spoke to a gentleman who was not particularly friendly. He was efficient and when I had to change the service date he was very accommodating, but still not very friendly. I was concerned about my decision to use Top Rank at this point, but come service day everything changed. I was scheduled for an 8-10 am window and received at text at 7:03 am letting me know Devin was on is way. Devin arrived shortly after 8 am and as very pleasant. He first reminded me of the quote I was given over the phone, which was very professional. He was replacing a toilet shut-off valve and I asked if he could install the float valve as well (something I had not asked for when I called) and he happily said he would. He finished the work quickly and it was very well done. He also installed the float value and didn't increase the amount he quoted which I had expected so that was a very pleasant surprise. Other than the lack of friendliness on the phone I can't recommend this company enough. They were professional, timely, the work was excellent and the price was very reasonable. read more

We had a blockage in our drain lines - while running the washer, water backed up into our bathtub and shower, and was higher than normal in our toilets. And of course, it was a Sunday afternoon. Our regular plumber wasn't available, so we searched Yelp for a plumber offering emergency service with positive reviews and found Top Rank. Israel was able to come out within 30 minutes, cleared two blockages, and ran his camera to detect the outside location of the two blockages. He made recommendations for preventing blockages at the two locations in the future, and provided an estimate the next morning for an improvement to the main line. I found a leaking pipe in my back room wall, carpet was soaked. I turned off the water and opened the wall, I found a termination cap at the end of the 3/4 water line was leaking. I called another company on Sunday to see if they could come out and repair it. They said they would be there between 12 & 2:00, they finally showed up at 5:45, the tech came in and saw it was 1 solder cap repair, he told me he was going to get his price sheet for it. When he came back he said the repair was going to cost $1200.00 to which I had a few nice words for him and showed him to the door. I called Top Rank later that night, Israel said he could get me on the schedule for Monday morning between 7:00 & 9:00am, I took the appointment, their tech Deven text me at 8:45 to say he was running a little late and would be there by 9:12am, had to laugh a little when he showed up at exactly 9:12. Deven came in and we hit it off right away, we both are duck hunters, we talked for a bit and he went right to work, Deven cut out the bad part of the pipe, then repaired and tested everything. The bill was $395.00 for the repair, this is a little expensive but the days of the $50.00 and hour plumber are gone, I run a service department for a heavy equipment manufacture, I know the cost of insurance, health care, vehicle expense and the list goes on and on, $395.00 was a drop in the bucket, my Sheetrock guy quoted me $350.00 to re-rock and match texture, all in $745.00. Now considering I was quoted $1200.00 by a not so honest company, I'm still $455.00 ahead of the game.
