Ok, so our lunch started off not great. They were busy and forgot our drinks. But when the waiter realized, he apologized and everything else went smoothly. (Plus, he gave us complimentary apps.) Not Covid friendly. Happy hour prices are good. However, customers are sat right next to each other's tables. There's not enough spacing except one chair length. Our table hadn't been wiped down so I approached the bar area where there was a spray bottle and rag because our waiter wasn't available for over 15 minutes. Someone reluctantly allowed me to wipe my own table with this dirty rag. They repeatedly used the same rag to wipe other tables. Service was very very slow. Food was delivered at room temp when should have at least been warm. Sushi was at room temp as well. Second time to be there. First was for our birthday. Love the decor, though I wish the music was turned down a little at times. Wow... super disappointing. My parents came here all the time and they brought me and my sister and brother-in-law for the first time and they treated us terribly. Table for 5 is what we asked for and they seated us at a 4-person booth...that's ok, we'll add a chair. It's a Friday night after all. A manager (heavier set, thin brimmed glasses) came to our table to tell us that my chair violated the fire code. Even though there was over 4 feet behind me (fire code is 3 feet people). Super unprofessional and rude. We told him fire code was 3 feet, and he responded in a super rude way repeating himself and then walking away mid sentence. Super childish... and when I flagged down another "manager" (muscular build, thick brim glasses) to ask him for another table, he told us he couldn't. My parents said that they come to this restaurant at least once a week and they were upset with this service and the second managers response was.......yikes....... "we have lots of customers that come here once a week" ....they don't care about loyal customers at all!! So sad to see a place with great food treat people like this. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. While getting up, one of us even knocked down a glass because we were so crammed. (Sorry to the waitress who had to clean that up). Sushi took almost half an hour to prepare even though the place was empty... The amount of food is not worth the cost, the rolls were the diameter of a quarter. Way too small considering some other sushi restaurants pack your rolls with a whole lot of food. The taste itself was good but some rolls taste way too identical to others. read more

I arrive at the pickup time and there is no one at the front who i can speak to about getting my food. It is now 15 minutes later and there has still been no one who has come to the front and I am not the only person waiting. Once Hamachi Cama was smelling so fishy, it was impossible to eat, and secondly, in about six month, we have ordered chicken fried rice to go just last night... I would not imagine fried rice to get bad in an hour, but when I've tried to feed my kids they said it smells funny, so I've tried it myself... It did smelled funny, and texture was slick. Really!? Sadly I had to update this. Loved this place but I won't be back anymore. Unfortunately my dad is slowly passing due to aggressive cancer. I have come to town on my days off once a week and for the last two months and my brother and I would hit up their reverse happy hour. Kind of became our tradition during these hard times for us. They are open until midnight accordingly to their website, Yelp, their front door and anywhere else it is posted. The host you could tell didn't want to seat us. He said they close In ten minutes. We talked about and knew immediately what we wanted to order so we decided we wanted to seat. Now I know how annoying that can be but two tables in the dining room still hadn't ordered so I knew it shouldn't be a big deal but it was. Then the young, taller, buffish manager came up to save the host and said the kitchen was closed. Last call was at 1045 ........ BS right. I hate conflict and awkward situations so my wife was talking. Now my wife was kind being a bit of a Karen but she wasn't being disrespectful. Then the manager was rude and I lost it. I regret using a few f words but this had become a special tradition while father has been passing and it really pissed me off. We had been talking about it for days. I waited several days to update this because I wanted to speak form a better place. I updated you closing times on gooe for you since it so easy. I'll also print out a piece of paper to put on your door since you all can't handle that. The only other complaint I had prior to this was with this same manager. We came in for lunch once and waited to be seated. He was sitting in his phone. Made eye contact three times and then huffed and got up and sat us. This guy is hurting your business.
