Came here for lunch with low expectations considering there isn't much in the direct area aside from generic chains, BUT we were so pleasantly surprised. We ordered the dolce roll, tons of pieces of nigiri (salmon, tuna and yellowtail) and the vegetable tempura. The taste and texture of every piece of fish seemed so fresh and was as soft as butter. The veggie tempura was a nice portion of sweet potato, zucchini and onion and was paired with a traditional dipping sauce. Everything we ordered was simple but so tasty. Omgggg, Joseph is the best mixologist I've EVER experienced!! This Peachy Lychee Martini have me absolute life. He'll make you anything you want, AND surprise you with one of his creations. I get my food to go when he's not there. The kickin' edamame is the ONLY way I can have it now. It's not bland like most of them out there. It's seasoned and tastes AMAZING! Was a little nervous when we first arrived. The floor was tacky and sticky as we walked inside and there was a slight fishy aroma in the air. We were greeted and seated immediately at a booth. The server was knowledgeable and helpful answering questions about the menu. We ordered drinks and appetizers, then he came back multiple times to add items to our meal and refill drinks. We had 6 or 7 different rolls, eggrolls, poppers, calamari and fried rice with chicken. Everything was excellent except the rice was too bland for us. We will definitely be back. read more

We came at 11:30 on a Sunday. There were 2 other tables with people when we came in. The waiters brought our drinks and then didn't come over to us again for 45 minutes. We had to flag them down to come take our food order. We got some gyoza and 3 rolls. The gyoza was barely warm. The rolls were very tasty and unique which is the only redeeming quality about our experience. Not to mention we had our 1 year old with us who was very clearly antsy and needing food. We also had to flag them down for us to pay and leave. The waiters were clearly serving the other table so it was like we had been banished to the back. Lunch was great, service was poor. You could tell that one of the employees family was there. They were catered to in a private room and you could see all the staff in there. There were about 3 other tables with people in the restaurant. We waited over 8 minutes to even be asked what we would like to drink. When we opened the boxes the presentation was lack luster and the size of the rolls were suprising small compared to other places like sushi Hana or Ninja. We had 3 adults and 2 kids. This is a two roll per person place. prices are comparable to the places above just smaller portions sizes. The flavor combos were great! The louis v was awesome and so was the salmon sashimi (even the kids are it). Definitely worth a try if you want something different from a sushi restaurant, they have some unique rolls unlike you see elsewhere. read more

Excellent sushi! We are there for lunch yesterday for the first time. There are many reasons why we recommend it. 1. The menu selections are vast with great variety. 2. There are some very good combinations you can order. I had the 4 piece sushi with a spicy tuna roll and a hand roll. Thus was just the right amount of food. 3. The quality of the sushi was top notch. Second visit was terrible- Took about 15-20 mins for the waiter to acknowledge us but we didn't know that would only be the precursor. We ordered the monkey brain's appetizer, and 3 rolls (2ppl) and a drink each. Here is where the story takes a turn.... The Louis V - stay away from this one!!! It is a cooked roll but the taste was putrid. Only thing I could compare it was old fish and hot mayonnaise. (It was served with Mayo on top) we each took a bite and had regrets! After another long wait, we explained to our waiter that this dish tasted off and could we get something else instead. He then informed us that if we didn't pay for it, his manager would make him pay from his own pocket. Is he trying to guilt us or does his manager actually do this?! We may never know bc we asked to explain to manager and they never came by. Flash forward- to replace we got gyoza which were fine but when the waiter brought them, he also brought egg rolls which we didn't order but thought they were trying to make amends for the guilt trip and putrid dish. After a another long 35 mins wait to get the check- we find out that we were charged for something we didn't order and again the waiter tried to guilt us and say "I guess I'll pay for that too then...". Customer beware and adjust your expectations accordingly. read more

Sushi is pretty decent. I wouldn't recommend the noodles, stir fry etc. The portions are great. My low stars are based on the fact that it was 615, i was close and decided to get happy hour (ends at 7). Waitress couldn't answer any of my questions. She soke so low I couldn't understand what she was saying. So I ordered (pointing on the hapy hr menu) 2 different "handrolls" per the menu $3 each and drink. She came back to ask me which one I wanted for sure, again I couldn't hear her or get what she was asking so I pointed to the menu and said "whatever this is." She brought one back and not the other first. Im done and I get the bill for a larger price. I told her this is not right, she was first stating that was HH, I said and thats the menu you guys have me and I order from. She said okay, they adjust by taking some off but still overcharging me. I talked to them again. They said they realize it's her fault and she gave me a full roll, could remove and recharge me but itll take 3-5 bus days. "Nevermind!"
