This place totally lives up the HYPE!!! BEST PIZZA IN OXNARD!!! This place has 2 stories, tons of tables and seating thar faces the water also. This place gets super packed. The guy helping us was really nice and patient. He offered some suggestions and just was very pleasant. We got a small pizza half garlic half and half red sauce with some toppings. I have to say I enjoyed the red sauce side more than the garlic chicken. It was really good. We also ordered an appetizer of the stuffed jalapenos. Holy smokes they were so good. I expected them to be really spicy no not at all. It was good it had a really nice kick to it. I want to come back and try their salad bar unfortunately it's only 1 trip to the salad bar. :( Looking forward to coming back next month. read more

Came here with my wife and son while on vacay in Oxnard. The place can be pretty busy but had an opportunity to sit outside near the harbor (dog friendly). Wonderful view of the Marina. There are plenty of Pizza options along with a salad bar. Prices are very reasonable. We ordered a Medium Veggie and Small Cheese, along with a large salad. Both were very tasty and the salad was great. The only knocks on this place is it can be very busy and though the Pizza is very good, I wouldn't say it sets itself apart from any other solid Pizza place. read more

Always fresh salad and tasty pizza. They are always busy but the wait is not bad- it flows quickly and never did I feel like I was waiting or rushed. Very clean too.... That is important to judge a restaurant by the cleanliness of their restrooms and dining room floors. read more

Great pizza next to the harbor with optional outdoor seating. I got a single helping salad from the salad bar since I read all the great reviews. The salad bar did not disappoint! Great selections and very fresh and clean. I shared a half/half med pizza with my husband (enough for 3 people). On one half garlic chicken and the other bbq chicken. Both were awesome. The crust was delicious! It's a thinner crust and perfectly browned and caramelized on the bottom. There was not much of a crust around the pizza but I didn't miss it with as good as the pizza was. I would definitely return here in the future. Some of the best pizza I have had and that's saying a lot from someone who has been to the Las Vegas pizza con several years. They give you order trackers to place on your table which makes it easy to find you. The bus boys were very good about clearing plates off your table. It also looks like a great family location with games to play and tvs. It's a huge two story building with lots of seating. read more

Rude. Rude. Rude. My husband usually never comments on bad attitudes or poor service and he surely noticed. Upon checking in at the register after placing a phone order they for couldn't find my order for some reason. They accused us of calling it in to the wrong location and we surely didn't. After a couple of attempts from the cashier she called upon a very grumpy employee with a black apron and she didn't lighten the situation at all. After giving our name several times and asking them maybe it's placed under take out. They found it. Apology? None. Smile? Nope. Wouldn't have expected it from the poor demeanor of the employees. An "enjoy your pizza? "Nope. She just walked away as if we weren't there. Just terrible service. Mind this was my return to toppers in a while since living out of state. Won't be back! Very unwelcome back to Cali, eh? read more

If you live in Ventura County and go anywhere else for pizza then you need to stop. This is hands down the most excellent pizza in the area. Is it cheap? No, but you get what you pay for. Go to Little Cesar's and you'll find vomit in the parking lot. No vomit at Topper's. Just good pizza, beer, and a huge salad bar for your vegan girlfriend. read more

Very tasty! I had the lunch, a personal size pizza and small bowl of salad from the salad bar. I was worried that salad bars were a thing of the past. I enjoyed this one. Wish they had some cottage cheese, but I guess you can't have everything. I really like the soda machine with thousands of flavors. There's a few different locations. read more

Interesting concept for pizza and salad. You order pizza, salad or sandwiches and then find a table and they deliver it. There is a salad bar (very traditional type) and you serve yourself. They also have beer and a sodas. Variety of interesting pizza types available, but we went with the traditional cheese, pepperoni, mushroom. It was good - flavorful and crispy. read more

Not my first time here and we were very familiar with the great pizza they serve is. What we were not familiar with was how small the pitchers of beer were. Upon ordering they told us they stop selling beer at 9:30. I said I better get a pitcher then. I received my pitcher that didn't even fill 3 glasses. I immediately got back in line with 10 min to go. Only problem was there were 3 employees jibber jabbing and doing something with their register and not paying any attention to the the people waiting in line. Then they rang up another employee and carried on about their personal lives. When the cashier finally got to me she told me they don't sell beer after 9:30. I showed her my watch and said it's now 9:30 and I had been waiting. She said she couldn't help me. I asked if there was a manager who could help me out. She went to him and instead of him taking the 12 steps to address my situation he told her I could get 1 pint. Now I'm pissed, and asked her to tell him I want to talk to him. I explained my situation and he allowed me to purchase my pitcher. The kicker was when the the cashier asked me to choose a tip amount on the key pad. Bitch please. read more

The salad bar was fresh and excellent. The pepperoni was really great. But, the pizza itself was too sweet. I don't know if the sweetness comes from the crust or the sauce, but they need to dial back the sweetness. read more

Great pizza, salads, and helpful service. We were told this place was legit and we weren't disappointed. We called in our order and it was ready 12 mins later for pickup. We were staying in a hotel and asked for plates and setups, and got most of what we asked for. Girl who helped me at the counter was super nice. Would definitely go back. read more

This place was recommend by my hair dresser. My bf, our little one and myself took a stroll up the coast and stopped by for lunch. Let me tell you the place it beautiful with AMAZING views. Right next to the doc with great big windows and even a second floor where you can sit and be in heaven. We were safe trying the food. We had a large pep and salad bar. There are 2 choices with the salad bar. Small and large bowl since its a 1 trip bar. I opted for the small one since I'm not familiar with it but once I obtained it, it was great! Clean and always fully stocked. I regret not getting the large bowl. Sorry I didn't take more pictures being with a 1 year old who thinks shes 10 is a little tiring. She wanted to run around. They do have a small room with arcades but little miss "I am my own boss" was too hyper and I didnt get a chance to take more pics. They also have an amazing fire place that was on while we were there. Pizza was great! Taste a lot like Round Tables. We will definitely go back! read more

Came here with a big group of friends when staying Oxnard. It worked out well but it was very busy on the "first come first serve" system. It took us about 30 minutes to get a table. The pizza was good but overly covered in oil. It was similar with the sandwiches. Prices were fair and reasonable and no one had to spend that much here. The atmosphere of the restaurant was actually really nice, especially outside. The restaurant sits right on the harbor and has nice scenery all around with good views by the windows. The inside gets a little bit noisy since it is a family restaurant. I would return here if I came back with a big group. Service was good and quick and the food was pretty decent. read more

My third time coming to this location and every time it was been amazing! Me and my boyfriend love the waterfront views and the large two story building that houses plenty of great seating and also TVs. The pizza is very tasty and service is great! My only complaint is you only get one trip at the amazing salad bar and they're very strict about it. On the other hand, ranch is free and we enjoy that very much! I look forward to my next visit! read more

It doesn't get much better! Pizza and a view. I've tried almost every toppers location and this is one of my favs. Very spacious and beautiful view of the harbor. Order a large salad - it's a must here. They refill the salad bar pretty often, which makes this location one of the better spots in my opinion. Love fresh ingredients. Pro tip: ask for your pizza extra crispy and order the mini spiceroni cups as a topping (trust me). p.s. This location gets really busy on the weekend so just be prepared for a wait time if you are coming during peak hours. read more

Staying in Oxnard we saw this when we were exploring the pier. Decided to stop in one night for dinner, & I'm glad we did. The place is really cool & unique with great views. Lots of seating which was great because they were busy. We got a Hawaiian pizza to share, salad bar, & breadsticks. Loved the pizza & breadsticks! They were delicious & I'm happy that online they have allergen information (my daughter has an egg allergy) The downside was really just the salad bar, for the price it didn't feel that worth it. I would've been more disappointed if I had gotten just the salad bar. Overall I'd go back when in Cali again! read more

Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Everyone in our group ordered something different, so we got to sample a little bit of everything, but my personal favorite was the Hangover. Their cappuccinos were also really good, and we loved the pancakes, bacon, chicken fried steak, chili, spicy chicken sandwich, and honestly... the list goes on and on! The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. There was a little bit of a wait when we went later in the morning, around 10:00, but when we went earlier, we were seated right away. If we're ever back in the area, I already know exactly where we're going for breakfast! Hollywood Beach Cafe will definitely be on our must-visit list.

Waitresses try their best but seem stretched too thin to be very attentive. You are made to use Cakes online ordering and wait list program which is less than ideal because of their slow WiFi. While waiting for a table you are updated on your place in line. On our last visit we waited as next to be seated for 20 minutes as multiple large parties showed up late and were seated immediately. We were told they were friends of the owner and there's nothing they could do but the staff hates it- for what that's worth. Today my Avocado toast left much to be desired. Sourdough tastes like dry thin sliced white bread. Small amount of smashed Avocado; not enough to cover the bread topped with less than fresh pico da gallo, arugula a balsamic drizzle and 3 slices of tomato that were marinated in Italian dressing. All things I like but the combination was not good. BLTA used the same disappointing bread, flaccid under cooked bacon a tiny amount of pesto aioli and more avocado then there was on the avocado toast. Kids mini pancakes were good but chocolate chips are $1 up charge. I will say yesterday's eggs Benedict was good- hollandaise is excellent. Breakfast potatoes were a bit undercooked. Bloody Mary was a bit weak in my opinion. After all of that- I got a look at the receipt and there is a 2% BOH RevShare added to the bill. My best guess is this is fee to help pay the kitchen- To be honest we went here because it was a short walk from the Hilton. After the poor service, bad quality and hidden fees- we would be better off eating on the resort.

Most of the food came out lukewarm and didn't have much flavor. The ham was questionable and probably the biggest miss on the plate. The pancakes, however, were actually good. Service was decent. Our drinks were refilled frequently and the staff took care of us, although nobody was overly friendly. The restaurant was also surprisingly quiet for a Sunday around lunch, especially for a marina location that seems like it should be packed. Overall, I was disappointed with the value. For the price of the meal, I expected either better quality or larger portions -- preferably both. As a chef, that's probably what disappointed me most because there is so much opportunity with this location. We did see a few lunch specials coming out of the kitchen that looked much better than our breakfast, so maybe we simply ordered the wrong thing. I probably won't return based on this visit, but I also wouldn't say it was terrible. Three stars feels fair -- decent place and great potential, but our breakfast just didn't deliver for the price.

We came here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We each ordered a cocktail. She got a blueberry margarita and I got a cucumber gin mixed drink. Both were refreshing and delicious. We ended up ordering another round. For appetizers we ordered the crispy maple Brussels and tuna & salmon tartare. The Brussels were fried to perfection and glazed a sweet maple syrup. It also came with thick cuts of bacon. Definitely recommend this. For the tartare, it was also delicious and fresh. It was mixed with avocado and turnip. We thought the turnip would be off putting but it actually meshed well with the flavors. Came with fried wonton chips. For the main course we shared the NY strip and Lobster Malfaldine. The steak was cooked to perfection with a very nice sear and flavored well. Probably one of the better steaks I've ever had. Definitely beats out any steakhouse steak. The Lobster Malfaldine was also absolutely delicious. Most of the time, lobster pasta is usually a bit bland and lacking in lobster. NOT HERE. They included big chunks of lobster and the sauce was so good. Lastly, we ended our dinner with the Strawberry Hand Pie. This is basically a warm strawberry strudel with vanilla bean ice cream. They used locally sourced strawberries and I'm still thinking about it as I'm writing this review. Adrienne was our server and she was very nice and attentive. Since it was my girlfriend's birthday, they comped our dessert. Super nice staff!

The steak was a filet cut. It was very dry so it lacked in flavor. In my opinion, a thinner cut would be better as a breakfast steak. We substituted the side with breakfast potatoes and they tasted kinda starchy and no flavor either; some seasoning would've been a slight improvement. The only flavor we tasted was the bell peppers. I had to put a lot of hot sauce to make the breakfast edible but still didn't finish it. The bill was nearly $200 for two subpar plates and a couple mimosas + OJ + wellness shot--not worth it at all. At least the mimosas were served in large glasses. The service was great though so I'll give that 5 stars. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and aesthetically pleasing. We were bummed the food didn't meet the expectations of the reviews that convinced us to go initially.
