We have purchased a few times. We have enjoyed each meal and appreciate how kind the staff are.

This was the highlight of our trip. My wife and I got a bucket with 1/2 lb shrimp, 1 lb king crab legs and 1/2 lb of andouille sausage, plus the corn and potatoes of course. It was the perfect amount to be like really full, but not over the top. No leftovers. The seasoning was killer (1/2 regular, 1/2 Cajun). The process is crazy easy and they are so organized. My wife and I have eaten here in year's past and the five star reviews are no joke! We have been looking forward to and talking about Topsail Steamer since we booked our rental earlier in the summer. Just got into town last night and will making our pilgrimage tomorrow night. If you are even "thinking" about giving this place a try, do yourself a favor and go. It will quickly become one of your favorite food places in Topsail. I wish they had one of these in my hometown. The food is always fresh, delicious and plentiful. Such a fun experience! I'll start by saying Topsail steamer is taking COVID serious and as a customer I appreciate it! We ordered a crab steam bucket and it was fabulous. The seasoning they use is perfect! We had no problem following the instructions and enjoyed the generous portion of crab legs, shrimp, corn and potatoes. We got a low tider crabby jimbo with sausage and extra shrimp. We had 3 total people and it was plenty. The place is super clean and gives you everything you need to cook it at home. Everything was amazing. The shrimp cooked absolutely perfectly and were my favorite. My husband loved the crab. Topsail Steamer was so nice we visited twice... In one week! My mom lives in the area and we were visiting her for the week. All of us were working during the week (yay remote employees!) and we didn't want to have to go to a sit down restaurant for dinner enter Topsail Steamer. The first night (a Wednesday) we weren't totally sure what we were getting into so we ordered the shrimp and added scallops. Went home to follow the directions and an hour later we had an amazing dinner ready to go. My mom even had some leftovers for lunch the following day. On Friday we decided we needed more low country boil in our life. This time we added sausage and clams to our order. I liked if even more the second time around. We saved some of the seasoning packet to sprinkle on everything after it was done. Perfect! I highly recommend checking this place out of you're in the area! Ate here for the first time tonight. Very good customer service and very fresh seafood. We ordered the full steamer bay bucket (high tider) for 4 of us and it was definitely plenty of food. The spice was good we didn't get the spicy because of the wives but the regular spice was very good. I can see us ordering another bucket the next time we come to surf city. I will add another review to the already amazing reviews this place has. The place was super clean and the seafood looked amazing even when we walked in. The pots were super easy to make and the customer service was awesome. And, when all done, the food tasted AMAZING. This was the most fun and best dinner we have had in a while. Next time we are in Topsail, this is a must-do. Three things: 1. I really liked the classic seasoning. The cajun was spicier than I expected. 2. We had an electric flat-top and it took like 20 mins longer than stated to get it done (our buckets were quite full - feeding lots of people). So, plan for that if you've got an electric flattop as so many rentals do. 3. if you can eat outside on a picnic table and use the brown paper for a table cover, your cleanup will be MUCH easier. read more
