We have been going to the Alliance Torchys since it opened. We generally sit at the Bar. Service is great. Food comes out quickly. We have heard about Torchy's many times but never had one close. They built one down the road and we were excited to try it. I have watched many reviews that were mostly positive, but saw a review that was terrible. That terrible reviewer must've worked for the competition. These tacos are absolutely delicious. The queso is superb as well. We have been there two times so far and we've been trying different tacos each time. So far I think my favorites are The Democrat, Trailer Park and Tipsy Chic. The first time we ate there we ate inside the restaurant. The next was pickup. Could've been my imagination, but it seemed like the tacos served inside the restaurant were bigger than the ones we got for pickup. The tacos we received inside were so large I couldn't eat them all. We would highly recommend these over any taco place in the area. The prices are very fair for the size and quality. Do yourself a favor and check these out. I'm usually really critical of restaurants and call them out all the time, but I cannot find anything I don't love about Torchy's. read more

To preface, we are avid torchy go-ers. Like once, if not twice a week. We were excited to have one close to home but left pretty disappointed. The tacos were cold and it seemed like nothing tasted the same as the other locations we go to. Queso was definitely different (bland and way chunkier) and we probably should have skipped it anyway considering they forgot about it and we didn't get it until way later. I am so happy that Torchy's is near my home. Within a few days of opening this new location, the staff gave me a free coupon good for one taco. I dined in and ordered the Baja Shrimp Taco and the margarita. Both were delicious. The lady who took my order was welcoming and friendly. My margarita was brought to my table quickly and it was a short wait for my food. The taco is large and filling with lots of shrimp. The sauce was so delicious. The margaritas was made well, and it did not give me a headache. I have gone back 3 times since that day and will continue to eat there. Next, I must try the quest everyone raves about. read more

The food was outstanding! We got several tacos - the democrat (delicious barbacoa), Baja shrimp (those pickled onions!!!) and the wrangler breakfast taco (damn good brisket). The queso is VERY good, nice and spicy. Also love all of the sauces we tried as each one carried at least some heat - avocado sauce, chipotle ranch and poblano ranch. Woke up this morning in a blah mood. But decided to get up and make the best of my day. Driving around, I noticed this Torchy's Tacos and decided to stop in. First off, they make you feel welcomed as soon as you come through the doors. That's not normal. Felt great! I sit at the bar, the Bartender again greets me. Introduced herself and gave me a water. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped with some great choices. Food was amazing! And a young man, im assuming a manager, came to check on me. thank you for opening this store!!
