Our neighborhood feels complete. This coffee shop opened less than a mile from our house and is everything. The decor is perfect (I'm trying to figure out where in my house to put the blue paint), the food excellent, and the service impeccable. I must admit that I do not have a very refined taste in coffee, so I'll leave comments on that to the experts, but the mochas I have gotten have been lovely. I will say that for a morning of telecommuting or a light weekend breakfast while walking the dog, it can't be beat. The artwork is an especially nice touch. Apparently, outdoor seating will be here soon. This might just be the thing the keeps us in Park Hill instead of moving west! read more

I really love this place and want to make it my go to but realized today that it's a bit expensive. $6 and some change for a medium vanilla soy latte with a tip it's a $7 cup of coffee. Really steep for a neighborhood shop. Not sure why so pricey but certainly a cute shop with friendly employees. Competitive pricing would be great. read more

I frequent this coffee shop whenever I'm in town mostly because of its cozy, homey feeling where the neighbors walk to get their coffee. You can people watch while sipping your coffee, but it is also a good place to study or get your work done. They also offer breakfast which is pretty good! read more

I really really like this place. They carry Corvus which and is always tasty. I do wish they would carry sweet bloom and had a electronic reward system through Square and not a punch card. But I am nit picking. They can make a banging cortado which is flavorful and the brewed coffee is always delicious. Would definitely rate this the best cafe in Park Hill/Stapleton area. Went for the first time and tried the honey almond oat milk latte (iced) and it was awesome! I went really early around 8am and everyone was extremely friendly at such an early hour. It really was such a nice pick me up and refreshing to go to a cool coffee shop with amazing employees as well. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again. read more

Croissant was nicely flaky. Hot chocolate was too sweet. Staff was very friendly. Space was very comfy and well thought out. The counter seats had power outlets almost every other seat. Would be a great place to work or study. read more

It's in a quiet part of town, so it makes for a good escape and there's plenty of seating and WiFi. My only complaint are the prices, I understand that it's a small business, but paying $5 for an 8oz almond milk latte makes it hard to come here regularly, and they only have lighter roast coffee. read more

I like the atmosphere and the drinks are is great. In fact it has me looking to purchase the same set for my house. I do not like that the they steep your tea for you and throw the leaves away. I prefer the second pour of loose leafs and they also steep a green tea far to long. May I suggest you offer an option for me to keep the leafs to resteep or choose how long to steep it. If that change is made than this could become my regular coffee shop. read more

The owner + staff are super friendly, the decor is fun, it has a cozy vibe that invites a longer stay. Lived in the neighborhood for several years, and have always wanted a coffee shop to walk to. Before Torpedo, I was trekking to cake crumbs, which is another local coffee joint. $2.25 for a 12oz coffee. Torpedo seemed to have everything I wanted, until I realized how expensive a drip coffee was. Several neighbors and I have discussed the pricey cup of joe, and though the coffee is good, and I appreciate how expensive it can be to run a business, it's just not worth the extra $1.50 for drip coffee. On behalf of some of the neighbors, we want to support this cool new addition, but with the coffee prices the way they are, it has tuned off some of its neighbors, and as more discover this, I'm afraid they might be turned off as well. As a suggestion, perhaps lowering the cost of drip coffee to a much more palatable $2.25-$2.50, rather than $3.50-$3.75 (before tip), would keep people living near here to continue to visit. Again, many want to support this cool place, but it's believed some pricing needs to change. As a note, i tried to reach out directly to the business, but there was no email contact. read more

I love the ambiance of Torpedo Coffee! Started by a former corporate guy with a passion, you can see how much love and passion Kyle, his wife and their staff have put into this cafe. Their coffees are all from featured local roasters and they have sustainability in mind with reusable as well as compostable cups and lids and waste sorting. As a mindful sustainability blogger and consultant, I very much appreciate that! But, also, they just have cool vibes (and amazing kombucha and cold brew coffee on tap!). My go-to spot for coffee meetings with my coworker who lives in Stapleton. I've only ever been during the day, but it's a great place for casual meetings. Not a ton of people working there, which makes it feel a little more communal/welcoming in my opinion. But the wifi is good! The dark roast was extremely bitter. I took a sip and almost spit it out. I left the full cup in the trash it was that bad. I'm one who normally goes to 7-11 for coffee and not snobby about quality but this was not good. The price is way too much as well even if I had liked it. The server had a mouth full of food or something, she couldn't even speak, found that somewhat unprofessional. Take a break and eat out of sight of customers, but I didn't go there for great service.
