Very disgusting. Will never shop here again. I came here with my boyfriend ( we are both of age) a couple around our same age checked out they weren't asked for id for their purchases ( yt ppl ofc) my boyfriend and I get rang up ( African American ofc) we were both asked for id, I the one purchasing the item had my id on me he did not. Instantly turned us away after we watched them not id the couple infront of us. Once confronted she claimed she judged by their looks they were at least 30years old. Pretty much a Bevmo but with a larger selection of items and a few beers on tap so you can get growler fills. I found the selection of craft beer sort of limited, but maybe that's because it's in Vegas with fewer "local" options than what we have in California. Overall pretty good spot to grab your liquor/beer/wine/drinking accoutrements, with better prices than you'll find at most other liquor stores, especially closer to the strip (although I saw that they have one right on the south end of the strip). read more

FYI: This review pairs with my experience with Shiner Beer (Spoetzl Brewery). Returned a pack of Shiner grapefruit beer that was missing any hint of grapefruit taste. Yep, totally absent of any fruit flavor. Initially I though my tongue was missing. After a quick check tonque was found in its proper place. LOL. I swapped out the Shiners for Traveler's grapefruit shandy which was awesome. Ballast Point and Leinenkugel also make great fruit crafts. Oh, and there is a German brewer that puts out a tasty grapefruit version too. The staff recommended options to Shiners. When asked about the Shiner grapefruit one of the reps echoed my experience of bland taste. So, overall the folks at Total Wine were helpful and told me their policy was to ship back to Shiners the lame "grapefruit" beer. Any bets on whether I'll ever hear from Shiners? Ya, that's what I thought, Shiners will probably determine there is 'nothing' wrong with their watered down "grapefruit" product and blow off another customer that simply reported a genuine discrepancy with one of their brews. Summary... Thanks Total Wine & More. Booooo to Shiners since there is too many other competitors to waste time on lame beer. read more

The stores do not stock enough of what I wanted so I had to special order through the corporate office back east. A bit cumbersome as I am used to very quick online transactions. A few weeks later I get a cal that it has arrived and can pick up. Shipping is cost prohibitive and Henderson Nevada is my closest store, but still 2.5 hour drive one way for me. First experience: Over $700 worth of 2 cases Korbel Natural (30 750ml bottles) and 2 cases Mumm Napa Brut Prestige (48 187ml bottles). When I pick up the cases they are opened, not just opened, ripped open. These are a gift. I hot glued the ripped cardboard back together to make the boxes presentable. 2 weeks later I find a fraudulent charge on the credit card I had used in the store. Second experience (one year later): Same special order. Same $700 of the same products. This time I ask of every person I talk to (corporate, in store staff, etc) DO NOT OPEN the cases. It is a gift (explaining what happened last time). Went to pick up and all 4 boxes are not just opened but RIPPED OPEN. Getting my hot glue gun out again. Wouldn't it be just too funny if a fraudulent charge showed up my credit in two weeks? read more

Upon entering Total Wine, I went directly to the Customer Service counter for help. I was prepared to buy several cases of a special Mango Liquor. The Customer Service Counter was manned by an old- boomer, (pathetically my age), dressed in a monkey-suit with a bad-attitude, trying to look important. I stood patiently for approx. 7 minutes waiting for service, NEVER GO IT! After being intentionally "ignored" and I finally moved on. This Yelp Review is my "CLAP BACK" for bad attitudes. If you are a valued consumer, ditch Total Wine and GO DIRECTLY TO LEE's LIQUOR for great service and products. We went on 12/14/2019, my wife and I wanted to get some gifts. We were looking around deciding what to get when an employee asked us if we had our ID's on us keep in mind we are 26 years old probably older than the employee, i responded by saying yes and then the employee walked away. We then felt uninvited because every 5 mins an employee would walk by us or ask us if we needed help. We felt very uncomfortable. I understand we may look young but we have never been asked if we had our ID's while on the floor I understand when checking out they ask you for it but this time we felt like we couldn't shop in peace because every couple mins an employee would walk right by us looking at us. We love coming here! The staff knows where to find anything and they are so helpful. The samples are always nice to introduce us to new wines. The selection of wine, beer, and liquor are extensive. We come here every time we're in Vegas. They are much better than Lee's and so much cleaner. The prices are great if you're buying more than a few bottles. I always find some new great wine that I need for home. I even got a new Josh Cellars Pinot Noir that is so good. read more

Pretty big selection... perhaps too big. I brought my two hipster friends from out of town here hoping that they would be able to find enough micro brews to shut them up for the rest of the weekend. They certainly appeared to be in hipster heaven as they skipped down the aisles like kids playing candyland. The only downside was that they wanted to shop around for hours looking at every handcrafted bottle, discussing all the local hops used to brew something something please kill me. Can we not even get drunk anymore without worrying about whether or not the alcohol was made within 100 mile limit? I digress as this isn't really the fault of total wine... Point being, they have a large selection. Prices are pretty reasonable though a bit pricier than Costco where I usually get my 5 gallon jugs of moonshine. read more

A virtual alcoholic mecca. For me anyway. What a fabulous, beautiful, STOCKED liquor store. I walk in and stare in wonder. Wine as far as the eye can see, shelves of every kind of beer imaginable, nice, helpful people. I asked if I could live here, but they told me no. Buzz kill (ha!). Lee's compared is old, dusty, poorly stocked, dingy and I will never grace the door of that place ever again. I have found my new love and its name is Total Wine. My favorite part about this place is that they have beer in all sizes and there's so much of it, it's practically overflowing. I can get Chimay in the big bottle, or the little ones. Same with Delirium Tremens. They have beers from all over the place, Belgium, Hawaii, everywhere! I'm a beer lover and they know it! I used to buy all sorts of wine here, too (well, in Virginia, actually), until I fell in deep love with beer. You can trust this place to have any kind of wine you're looking for. You can shop and just pick one up and you're pretty guaranteed to find something you really will love and keep coming back for. Staff is nice and helpful, the store is immaculate and there is so much alcohol. Did I mention that? They also have gourmet snacks, glassware, pretty much anything you need to drink. Samples, samples, samples, but I got turned on to a beer that's amazing. It's not for your average Budweiser or Coors Yes it's strong, it's 14% it's called "Samichlaus" We had no clue where to start, this place can be overwhelming. We asked the guy that gives samples of beer. But I think that what he samples, it what he supports. So we were close, we found a worker, and he pointed us right to it. He also asked us if we knew the alcohol percentage! lol, yes we know, that's why we want it. lol When we checked out, the lady said, whoa, that's a pricey 4 pack. $20.00. Again we told her it was 14% and it's like a desert beer, you should share a bottle with a friend, it's not one to throw back, one after another. Great selection, but I just encountered a really rude man. Considering I've spent a ton of money here, I hate complaining. Tonight my husband and our roommates came here to get alcohol. We were all in different parties and I wasn't done chilling a beverage and was not at the register upon my roommate's checkout. The cashier (the bald guy Kenneth) demanded I come to the register to show my ID. It wasn't polite and I made sure to let him know. However, he never even checked my husband ID. We are both the same age, so that was rediculous. He might have been having a rough night, but his extreme rudeness was disturbing. I hope he learns to check everyone's ID if he trying to follow company policy that he rationales as his reasoning. Please keep in mind this policy isn't followed by any of the other cashier's I've met. The other cashier's wait till I'm in line to pay before demanding ID. End of rant read more

Henderson has it's own Total Wine, yay! My issues with this place are the same as with the Summerlin one - yes the wine is cheap, yes there's lots of it, no you won't find anything special here. It's all mass produced grocery store level junk. I miss Spec's in TX so much - a wine store that actually carried boutique wines and limited distribution things. Mondavi and Beringer just don't get my blood going, sorry. The beer selection on the other hand is out of this world amazing and the liquor selection is great as well. Unlike most wine/liquor stores I've been to they don't seem to have a nice cheese section whcih is another big disappointment. In summary this is the Wal-Mart of wine stores. Low prices and large, but since I've been to even bigger, cheaper stores out of state with WAY better selections it's hard to get all that excited about this place. The employees aren't all that educated on wine (compared to what I'm used to at a wine shop!) and most of the wine I've been recommended there has been mass produced garbage. read more

Service. Selection. Price. It's all here. And it's all top notch. I went to Total Wine to buy a bottle of wine as a gift for a friend. I had a certain price range in mind and I wanted something that would go well not with food but to help set a certain attitude and mindset. I ended up being helped by Tami...and she provided service with a smile and without attitude. Her recommendations were spot on too, her choices included specific vineyards I knew but some I had not heard of. Her second recommendation mirrored advice I received from a vineyard owner back in Missouri so when I heard the recommendation and had the bottle in hand I knew that Tami was the right person to help me. I also took time to walk through the rest of the store. In the back was an excellent gift area with some outstanding options that will help me wrap up my Christmas shopping fast. Total also has an extensive beer selection. While they don't have Colorado or Midwest brews due to distributorship limitations, they carry a wide range from Shinerbock to Dogfish Head's My Antonia. In short you should have no trouble finding something you will enjoy here. Checkout was a breeze, service from every staff member I spoke to was top notch, and I left wishing I had more time to shop and thinking of what I want to buy on my next visit. 5 Stars, without question or hesitation and a recommendation to check them out if you haven't already. read more

There is wine every direction you look. I'm surprised they don't have wine barrels hanging from the ceiling. If wine could be a library, this would be it. Like a bibliophile, even the most committed wine-a-holics would never be able to go through every single option in his or her lifetime. The best part of the aisles were the labels they placed on the shelves of wine that provided recommendations for top-selling brands in each wine flavor. It made the situation of selecting a bottle with friends who had no insight on wine and me with no expectations of what I wanted incredibly simple. We had decided and left with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc in less than five minutes. There is also a wine bar in the middle designed for taste testings. I also bought delicious ICE brand sparkling water for my friends. They were very happy. read more

They have one of the largest wine selections I have ever seen as well as a full liquor department (including a large selction of minis) and beer. They have a very good selection of belgian and seasonal beers (Pumpkin!). If that weren't enough they also carry a big selection of mixers, bar tools, glassware, bitters and syrups. I came for one directive: to find Fruli beer. Success! However, it was $3.59 per teeny little bottle. I understand it is super hard to find and they have to justify stocking it via its price, but I have seen it in bars for $4-5 per bottle and it's hard to justify buying it direct from the liquor store at this price. Ok, I may be a bit of a ball buster when it comes to wine and wine-wannabes. So I am at this Total Wines, which is totally unfamiliar to me. Summerlin, on the other hand, I know like the back of my hand. Anyway, staff asks me if they can help me. I say, "No, thank you.", but later ask the same woman for the Gruner Veltliner. I get a question in return, "What country?". Well there you go, you are a wine expert, aren't you? I was also frustrated with the assumption that no one drinks/ shops for alcohol on Monday morning...well I do! Don't block the cartways with boxes and boxes of wine while you are "restocking" AKA talking about your "AWESOME!" weekend, and assuming NO ONE will need to you use the cart ways. I need them! I need my wine, too! How unfair! It seems like your retail hours are not for customers, but for your staff to gab about their weekend as they leisurely restock the shelves, not caring they are blocking the cartways. Thanks, I made sure to cut my wine trip to 6 bottles rather than the regular 24. Saved atleasted $300. read more

Summerlin is way closer to us, but since we're in the area and we've been really into "collecting" bourbons, we stopped by anyways. We found a few bourbons not at the Summerlin branch, but most was the same stock. We were thinking of grabbing some cigars, but we noticed the ones we were interested in grabbing from the other location wasn't at this one. The people working here were friendly. I didn't need help, but when they passed by they would say hello and ask if I need anything. Obviously, I won't really be going much to this one when I live by Summerlin, but it's nice to see that TW&M has a standard of neatness and friendliness for all of the locations I've been to. read more

Went to this store for the first time recently and was very surprised at how big it is and the HUGE selection of booze! Wines, beer, liquor, mixers, soft drinks...they have it all! I liked the mix your own six pack option and the hundreds of beers to choose from was amazing! Also asked someone for help on the floor looking for an item and not only did he take me to it he gave me a rundown on all the choices and gave his recommendation. Great customer service. Checkout was a breeze and I even grabbed a few mini bottles to try on my way out. Definitely my go to place for alcohol now. read more

What can I say that other people haven't said ? A really extensive selection of wine, champagne, beer, vodka, whiskey. Employees are very helpful, makes Lee's Liquor look like a junkyard. Total Wine has some high end stuff too for you rich alcoholics. Basically a supermarket of booze. I will never go to Lee's Liquor again, basically for tourists . And I'm a tourist when I go to Las Vegas . This location is near Sunset Station Casino, so you can play some slots after you go to Total Wine . It's in a strip mall. Apparently, this store holds all that and more. Not only can you buy your liquor here, but snacks and mixers are also available. My friend was having a bad day and has been looking for the Dream Tree Wines for some time now. After her constant babbling about Dave Matthews producing a wine, I took her here with high hopes that she would be able to find it. Sure enough, we were lost and wandering aimlessly before an associate pointed us in the right direction. She did not even have to look it up. She recited the types with ease and walked us over to the one's we wanted. For $14, the wine is affordable. Although it is nice have a store carry such a wide selection, walking around the store is more fun. I am out to educate myself in what I drink. Wandering the aisles is a start because of their helpful plaques with a quick tidbit about each selection. I believe that they have classes on Thursday from 6:30-8:30. One class runs for $25, sign up for five and it is $100. read more

Just got back from Total Wine, and wow, I'm impressed. While I'm not a wine drinker I am a beer drinker, and they have lots to choose from. I was able to find my four favorite kinds of beer for the lowest price I've seen in Vegas, and I was able to pick up a ton of single beers to try them out. If you like beer, and you like trying new types, give this place a shot. One cool thing about the way they have the beer sorted is by type... with signs clearly grouping them, and descriptions of the beers so you can decide if you really want to try the single, or skip right to the 6 pack! For beers with multiple formats they have them all - cans, 12 oz, up to 40s! If you really like wine, or other vices, this place is right up your alley too. Good service, good prices. What more could you want? If there is a better place in Vegas, I'm not aware of it. read more

This is the number one place to go for booze in the Henderson area. They have another location which I've been to for those in close proximity to Summerlin in Boca Park. Everyone that comes here is in heaven as they take notice of the immense collection of wines, beers, and spirits. It is Disneyland for adults. You could spend hours browsing through each aisle trying to determine the perfect bottle for your occasion or you could ask one of the friendly associates to help you make that final decision. All of the workers are super-trained and more than willing to satisfy your needs when it comes to choosing the best bottle(s) for you. They have some of the best prices in town too and do match pricing if you happen to find a deal somewhere else. For avid wine drinkers, they have a mix it up deal where you can mix and match bottles and fill up a case of 12 to get 10% off. Why not, right?! Might as well fill up your wine rack at home with the best selection of wines! In addition to all the beer, all the wine, and all the spirits, they have their very own humidor with a wide selection of cigars. It's a really cool room to check out while you're here. I'll be honest: I'm an alcohol snob. I worked at BevMo in California for three years and took every class they offered in beer/wine/spirits. I learned more than anyone really cares to about gourmet sodas, candy, and caviar. When we came to Vegas, I expected to find a liquor store like BevMo, and was heartily disappointed in Lee's. Then, we finally found Total Wine. Wow!! BevMo on steroids. From the tasting bars to the incredible selection to the extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff, this place is great. Two locations, both a goodly drive from the house, but completely worth the drive. They have Bundaberg Ginger Beer, for goodness sake. 10/10 in my book read more

Asked a young lady to pull out a 400 dollar bottle of champagne ... she asked me to wait while she finds somebody to get the keys to the case... I waited and waited... the young lady looked like she got a woman by the name of Carey to open it... I think because of the color of my skin, my age and the way I was dressed she passed right by me and started helping an older woman ... the young woman was trying to get Careys attention to say that I was waiting, she ignored her then finally acknowledged her... the young lady said he's waiting for that bottle ... and with a very condescending tone she said I'll be right with you... and I responded... I've already been waiting ... she said again ... "I'll be right with you... you can wait" then she finished..asked why I was buying the bottle... if it was a special occasion like I couldn't afford that bottle... I said "Can I just have the bottle" she replied "no you can't have the bottle ...but you can pay for it ,and go wait in line" so Carey made me wait in line... after I was already waiting, then walked away like I never existed knowing I was upset... I am very disappointed with the way I was treated with your store employee... I feel like I was marginalized, judged and disrespected. I really hope there is customer service and diversity training in place and the rest of your employees don't treat customers the way I was treat by Carey. read more

When I went on a Sat. they were offering a wine tasting with quite a few different wines, the host was so pleasant & kind and made everyone feel welcome, no matter if you were just walking by, she welcomed all. I found a new wine I really liked, and we all were having a nice time mingling and talking about the different wines. The woman hosting made it a fun time for us! *** 200th Review!!! *** As my mother and I were leaving Total Wine and more I couldn't help but saying, "This place is awesome!" Probably more than once. First off, an amazing selection of wines, beers, and hard liquors all clearly displayed. Employees are incredibly knowledgeable. I was thrilled when I asked for a Riesling and the employee replied, "Domestic or German?" Well, I went with German, of course. She also introduced my mother and I to a fantastic already-boozed egg nog! Wow, so great, my Mom bought a big bottle for Christmas! Bonus - they were also doing wine tastings. I sampled reds and whites. My mother particularly enjoyed a Moscato, which she ended up purchasing for Christmas dinner. They were also sampling a beer from Montana and a Vodka. Their tequila selection was really nice too. Prices are reasonable. My wife was able to find a wine she had been looking for for about 2 years so that alone is 5 star worthy. This place is so big they've got a bar area that has Barleys on tap. They also have a classroom where they hold classes on beer or wine, etc. Aug 21st they're offering a beer class for $15/person. If you love BEER or wine this place is for you! You can buy almost any beer by the bottle and then find it in a 6 or 12 pack too! They have a fridge section so some of the more popular stuff is in there and cold. They have plenty of the popular kegs, the usual domestics but some craft guys too. Well, now that I made you feel there was some climatic ending to this statement; there is not. Total wine here is just the same, isle after isle of intoxication and beer pong refills. I recently was invited to a Beer Swap while all the ladies swapped cookies, no offense ladies we are non discriminatory and if any ladies wanted to trade it was an option. Anyways, this trade was limited strictly to Micro Brews and I am the type that does not want to go swap six pack to six pack so from all the awesome recommendations from all of my fellow yelpaholics.. I ended up with the Holiday mix and match boxes in my hand taking the time to mix it up and spread the holiday Beer. Did you catch what I just did there. The store was clean, they had an amazing selection and every person I interacted with were more than professional. I will be making this my home for 21 and over purchases. The staff here is the most helpful of any of the total wine stores on Vegas(or any total wine location I've ever been to). Don't read the written recommendations, ask for help. Recommendations are always spot-on!!! (this has never been the case at other locations... I've shopped at these stores for ~5 years) The champagnes and Bordeaux (and white Bordeaux) sections here are solid. They lack specialty/exotic wines such as torrentes and Chenin blanc, but they carry a few. Try the blanc de noirs champagne here (either Louis b or shrombourg(?)... Life-changing lol. read more
