Cute little bakery. I ordered a raisin snail which was pretty good. All of the bakery items are in a display and you can open it to grab an item yourself. It was kind of awkward being right handed and trying to grab the raisin snail. I also ordered a latte which was nice and smooth. There is a bunch of seating in the bakery so I was able to sit and work for a bit. The employees were great but the latte and pastry were both good. read more

3 stars - breakdown below Cake - 5 stars, it was a delicious and beautiful cake. It was shaped like an igloo with chocolate frosting. None of the employees knew what flavor it was but we took a chance and bought the whole cake. It was delicious, light, fluffy, and not too sweet Bubble tea - 1 star. I LOVE boba and this was the worst bubble tea I've ever had. Spent 7 bucks on it and threw away the entire tea. The pearls were mushy and hot when they put them into my iced drink which caused the almond milk to curdle, it was disgusting. Overall, definitely come here for the pre-made items and basic/easy to make beverages. Save your money and get boba somewhere else read more

Though bakery is delicious, they can improve on service. The cashier was not friendly at all, they saw me walking in and didn't even acknowledge, he was accommodating some pastries and didn't even look at me and went back. Then he was giving me fragmented instructions on how they operate. Service need to improve if you want to be successful. read more

Guys I literally love Korean bakeries and this is a great spot to try one . The pastries here are amazing , they're so soft and fluffy . The desserts are also great and worth trying . The shop is small but they have several areas to sit for eating . All the items are pretty reasonably priced z I'd definitely come back again to try some different options! read more

This is the cutest little bakery - first you take your tongs and your little paper bag, and you can select whichever bakery items you would like I chose a chocolate croissant and a spicy sausage (perfect breakfast foods I know ) and I was delightfully surprised by the freshness of both I got there at 8 am Saturday and there were already 3 groups eating! read more

Yum! I decided to grab a quick pastry while waiting for an available table at a nearby restaurant. Tous les Jours is self-serve where you pick whichever bakery item you desire and place it on a wooden tray. You place a sheet on the tray and use a tong when picking the pastry. Once you are at the register, you can tell the employee if you want it to go and he or she will put your items in a bag. Right next to each bakery item is a sign with the calorie count and ingredients. I found this very helpful when identifying items that contained meat (since I am vegetarian). If you are interested in trying the popular items, just look for the word "favorites" on the little signs next to each item (they even have kids favorites!). I was stuck between choosing the sweet potato pie and the strawberries and cream croissant. I ended up choosing the sweet potato pie which was delicious! The filling was very smooth and not too sweet. The flaky pastry dough was crisp yet tender! Best of both worlds. If you check-in on yelp, you can get 50% off a pastry. Also, I went around 7-8pm and everything was BOGO. read more

SO- I AM FLOORED! with what Richard has done here. He didn't miss a single thing opening this swanky French-Korean bakery. The coffee is so epic, the pastries you think came from France, the guys behind the counter are good looking and super friendly & approachable (----so important! I didn't even know of this place till i was walking down the street and the sidewalk razor sign says croissant + coffee =$1 Ummmm duh. Ya Sold Me like a fat kid getting off a seesaw Lol. Richard was inside doing culinary maintenance to the food display case and he immediately walked me thru what stuff was, the concept and a bit of the history.. I love that tous les jours is finally seeping into the city!! There were so many in the suburbs and someone answered my prayers! The pastries here are always delicious, light, and satisfying. All of their cakes and pastries are amazing, melts in your mouth, and never too sweet! The baked goods selections are all amazing (but It's a little smaller than the chains in the suburbs). If you don't know what to get, ask someone who works here! The people working here are so kind and helpful. read more

So this French-Korean bakery opened up in the neighborhood earlier this month and I have to say that I don't like this place. I absolutely LOVE it!!!! They have delectable croissants of all varieties and tasty cakes/desserts and macarons and while I haven't had a chance to try everything, the several things I have tried have been absolutely delicious. With Alliance Bakery right next door, I really didn't think the neighborhood needed yet another bakery, but I was sorely wrong. The croissants are just another level here (the way they should be, flaky and airy and uniform). The overall layout of the store is warm and inviting and that goes for the staff as well. My only gripe is that it's just too close to where I live. I can't stay away. The bright lights saying "BAKERY OPEN" smile at me and ask me when I'm coming back and I find myself answering back, "very soon....okay, maybe now." And with that, maybe it's time for another short walk....you know where :) read more

Yay! Im so happy I dont have to go all the way to Chinatown anymore. Always loved TLJ and happy its an addition to the division strip. Been waiting for it to open and went it today. Good baked goods, delicious drinks and desserts look good too. I had the hazelnut croissant, a twisty sugar donut kinda thing and a chocolate twist. All them tasted good and averages about $2-3. They have some tables to sit there and eat. Very laid back for now, i think it could be a good spot to meet ppl or potentially do a lil work. im looking forward to come back and try more goods. read more

Wonderful selection of unusual pastries not found at other bakeries. Everything is fresh and there are often new creations that rotate with some frequency. Restaurant is very clean with trays, bags, paper, and tongs to grab food items. Love the ham and cheese pastry, tiramisu latte, Yuzu pie, and custard/almond pastry. My visiting friend in town liked this place so much we went two days in a row. A wonderful breakfast/dessert place that's great for takeaway. read more

Fresh korean bread and cakes in the city! Korean bakeries are the best, and it was brilliant to finally open one in chicago. The pastries here are much lighter than your traditional American dessert. Great for gifting or just having a nice dessert with friends! My favorites are the milk bread or anything with sweet potato or taro. My Americano was a delight after drinking Keurig coffee the past few days. Staff was not overly friendly but everything was good enough. All I can say is WOW! I've never been to a French-Korean bakery before and I was totally blown away. The owner, I think his name was Richard, greeted us as we walked in. He was polite and approachable and explained the concept of the bakery. As for the food and drinks I was absolutely blown away by the high quality ingredients. We tried a few coffees and pastries and they were exploding with flavor. The macaroni was my favorite and the croissants were my girlfriends. All the items were extremely affordable too. This place is the total package!! I have officially found my favorite bakery/coffee shop in the city of Chicago. If you haven't been to a French-Korean bakery, do yourself a huge favor and check this place out! read more

I love this place. I mean, who doesn't love baked goods that are made fresh on site? But in all seriousness, the breakfast sandwiches here are ON POINT. They are the best "on the go" breakfast sandwiches in town. They make the fried egg a thin wraparound of whatever other things you add to the sandwich, be it bacon, avocado, sausage, cheddar etc. And then you have the option of substituting the regular croissant with their JALAPENO CHEDDAR CROISSANT which I have to say is my FAVE. All this to say, pro tip is: get the breakfast sandwich. They also just added milk tea to the menu with the option of brown sugar crystal boba (aka kanten), which I'm kind of obsessed with. It's a cross between boba and jelly, and you can actually refrigerate it without it hardening. read more

My most recent visit see's me dropping the review score one star. The store closes at 10 on Saturdays, I arrive at 7:45 hoping to get a hot cup of tea and a slice of delicious cake. I was told the tea/coffee service was now closed/ended because they were out of fresh baked goods. I was very disappointed with the experience here. I ordered a cake for my son days before and when I arrive the cashier gave me the wrong cake. She tried to tell me it was the right cake but we ordered a fresh cream one and she gave us a chocolate one. She said the design was different sometimes from the site. She finally realized it was wrong and was going to give us the right cake but the fruit was old. The cake maker was kind enough to make us another one but we had to wait. Loved this bakery!! I had never been to a Korean bakery before but my fiancé loves Korean food and I love baked goods so I figured we should try it. They respect social distancing rules with mask requirements and only 4 people entering at a time standing 6 feet apart. The food itself was incredible. We had the kimchi croquette, bulgogi sausage roll and jalapeño cheddar croissant. Definitely very buttery and indulgent but that's what we were looking for. This is serious for future customers and Tous Les Jours fans. Tous Les Jours has always been our go place for special occasion cakes. We usually go to their Chinatown location and this time went with their Division location. In short, my experience makes me believe this location has incompetent bakers, management, and they really should be reported for food violations. See below for details! For Mother's day weekend we ordered a green tea cloud cake in which they reassured us that their bakers make everything fresh in the "morning". We picked up our cake to surprise our mom, but as we cut into cake it was rock hard. At this point we thought maybe we grabbed someone else's cake with a surprise element because we noticed other customers were not receiving their right cake orders during our pickup. Instead we cut open our cake and realized we were sold AN OLD FROZEN CAKE. The cake was so old that the green tea sponge cake was GRAY GREEN. Not at all the pillowy texture they advertise and definitely not the high quality freshness they pride themselves in.We completely understand that the pandemic may have caused some business challenges but it is UNACCEPTABLE TO SELL CUSTOMERS OLD FROZEN CAKES. Imagine how crappy it was for my mom to cut into a frozen OLD cake. My sister immediately informed them of this via email as they were closed. This has never ever happened when we ordered from the Chinatown location. After the manager apologized, and promised a refund I've provided credit information two times now over the course of 2 months to show our patience and understanding in dealing with the pandemic and protests. At this point it's a joke that they can't simply provide a proper refund after giving them my information 2-3 times now. Mind you this happened in May and it's now July. We could have understand if there were challenges but seeing how they haven't taken our experience seriously, I would think more than twice before you order here and risk getting your family members really sick. Go to Alliance Bakery next store instead, luckily we also got a few small cakes there and was able to still celebrate. read more
