I would like to be very clear, we will never set foot on a Towbin/Prestige dealership lot again. I have shopped on their lots a couples times and have never purchased a vehicle. The sales people are unprofessional and rude. The high pressure sales tactics, and the passive aggressive behaviors when the deal is not appropriate is appalling. The sales staff are vultures, and chase you down in the parking lot to prevent you from leaving when you say no. Given this specific transaction, we purchased from another dealer with unmatched customer service. And what's funny? As their competitors, the other dealership receives a great deal of the business their dealership loses because of the appalling behaviors. My husband and I are Dodge loyal customers, and are more likely to travel further distances for our next Dodge purchase due to the ridiculous lack of customer service. I request the owner reads reviews. Not sure of the level of his concern, as this is an on going issue he doesn't even care to improve. As well, I will make sure that I steer others clear of their company due to the atrocity they call customer service. I scheduled a appointment today for my due bill. I received a text before I arrived with instructions. Arrived and Greg was there to help with a smile. He then got me a Lyft home. Told me they will text me when it's done by 3pm. I got a text and a call at 1230pm my truck is ready for pick up. I took my 2016 Challenger there to get the oil changed. The service writer said the car needed some other updates, and it would be 1-2 hours. She would call or find me when it was done. I said ok and planted myself in the waiting room. After a little over two hours, I went out to talk to her about the car. She was nowhere to be seen, but my car was parked in the driveway! I asked another guy if he know where she was and he said she had gone home! Nobody knew what was up with the car, and finally some kid found the paperwork. I would have put -5 but wasn't allowed! I paid cash for a NEW 2019 Challenger and when my daughter and I got home, we noticed two rust spots on car. One on top and one on the trunk. Took it back to Chapman Towbin and they said we can fix that. They took it, looked like they tried to fill it with paint and still visible spots at which point I told them rust continues to rust and I paid cash with 100,000 mile Extended Warranty and I wanted a NEW CAR WITHOUT RUST! The salesman "looked" and said they could get me same car somewhere else with EXACT SAME ACCESSORIES. After I agreed IF THE CAR WAS IDENTICAL they said I had to sign paperwork before they could get the car which I reluctantly did since I did not want a NEW CAR WITH RUST! Then in signing they charged me MORE MONEY AND PAY FOR NEW EXTENDED WARRANTY. In paperwork I saw they gave me $18,000. For trade in AFTER I SIGNED TO GET THE CAR! So on top of over$30,000 I had to pay over $3,000 again. The car they brought had a small video screen, no heated seats, no seats self moving to get in back seat, no side mirrors with the added feature and many other accessories were NOT on "MY TRADE IN" which only had 25 MILES ON IT! WHEN I TALKED TO MANAGER he said they could change the car for me, they needed to appraise the car which then had about 40 miles on it! They appraised it at, once again though the first time until paperwork I did not know they TRADED IN the original car I thought I had bought, at $18,000. I told them to stuff it and I would tell everyone about the RIP-OFF I got from them! I found the paperwork stuffed under a seat in the "second new car" and it said car price was a lot less than the ORIGINAL CAR I bought! I don't even know where to begin! I kept putting off buying a vehicle because I absolutely despise the buying process at most dealers. I have had good experiences at Carmax and I'm kicking myself for not taking my business to them. I went in to Towbin because I had spent weeks searching for a newer used truck and they had a couple sitting on their lot. As I walked on to the lot I was immediately approached buy a salesman (something I absolutely hate about dealers). Then the internet manager joined us. I pointed out the two trucks I liked. The internet manager told me the prices for both. However, the price didn't include taxes and fees, something that is listed on most window stickers at other dealers with the total on the bottom line. A bit shady but I thought that's just how they do it at Towbin. I test drove both trucks and loved them both but one was a bit out of my budget so I went with the other. I should also say that I started this whole process around 1pm. So now begins the negotiation process; the other thing I hate about car buying. I couldn't stand how the internet manager was going back and forth to "his manager" to negotiate. All I wanted was to stick to my budget, the total dollar amount I was willing to spend on the truck. Not negotiate my monthly payment! After about 11/2 hours of this I was getting a bit irritated and we couldn't come do an agreement. So I asked for my keys back for my trade in and started to get into my car when the internet manager came out and offered me the deal I was looking for. Now that the deals done, it should be smooth sailing but it wasn't. After another hour of waiting around for the finance department it was finally my turn. I sat down at the desk to start the paperwork, and the the finance officer asked me how I was making my down payment. I told him that the deal was zero down, something that was agreed upon. He thought I was joking! He showed me the offer and not only did it say I was putting money down but the price of the truck went up by almost $2000. He called the internet manager in and he told me that the extra $2000 and down payment was something we agreed upon and "his manager" wouldn't agree to the original deal I agreed to. At this point I was livid! I again asked for the keys to my trade in and got in my car and started to drive away (almost 5 hours waisted at this point). The internet manager came running out again and said because he was stretched too thin on too many deals with other customers he may have made that original deal with me. To his credit he owned up to it and apologized. He said that they would honor the original deal. As much as I didn't want to go back into that hell hole! I loved the truck and didn't want to go through the whole car buying process again. So I went back in and signed the papers and had myself a new truck. Here is what pissed me off the most about Towbin!! You'd think that after someone spent close to $40,000 on one of your vehicles that the gas tank would be full. NOPE, NOT AT TOWBIN!!! I got to drive back to Summerlin that day and fill up my newly purchased truck with gas! My girlfriend is buying a car in a few months. Guess who's not getting her business. I would absolutely stay AWAY from Tobwin Dodge. In TWO years, they replaced my Engine, Turbo, transmission TWICE. And my car was a 2013 and was only a couple years old at the time. The staff was always SO horrible, acted like I was bugging them for updates on my car that they had for over TWO weeks. They would keep my car for weeks on end, never making me a priority even after all the problems I had. I Never Had a rental car... Imagine spending all this money paying for a newer car that 1/3 of the time is at the dealership getting "repaired".. And I'm bumming rides off my mom. One time I got a rental but it took going to the top manager of the whole dealership ( Not the service manager). Even the service manager (Could be a different manager now) was horribly horribly rude and downa right disrespectful. Never returns calls When promised leaving you to call leaving endless voicemails. The whole staff was just a joke! Tobwin Dodge is no longer that Hip cool show you seen on TV. They are now a struggling business with immature employees who have No training. If their computer does not tell them the issue, they have No idea. No basic knowledge of cars they can only read the instructions. Many times my car had issues yet they refused to look at because the check engine light was not on. (Yet RPM was stuck at 4!) I sold my dart and Go Me A CHEVY!! First, I am giving Cuba a five star for being a excellent sales person, professional, and passionate about customer service. Also, I would also like to give Joe the original Finance Manager we sat with a 5 star as well, his interaction with us, and his unparalleled customer service was impeccable. Unfortunately the rest of my experience with the other individuals involved especially the last finance manager I spoke with and ultimately made my decision to finally walk away from this dealership. So here is my story. On Friday, September 1st, 2017, I was browsing the internet and found a SUV that I absolutely fell in love with. It had everything that I wanted, and although it was a used 2015, the mileage was low enough to still enjoy it a few years. I admit my credit was a concern for me, so I didn't want to go into a dealership without knowing in advance that it was not going to waste the dealers or my time. So, I called Towbin Fiat off of Jones and Sahara to inquiry about the SUV that I had just seen on the Towbin website, I spoke with Martin, he informed me that the SUV was at another location, but if I was interested I could come down to his location and he would be able to take me down to Towbin Dodge in Henderson. I explained to Martin that I wouldn't be able to make it down there today, but for sure tomorrow. Martin than was nice enough to take my name and phone number and told me he had a contact that could help me at that location. I was very happy. Upon ending my call with Martin, I received a call from Cuba, who was very polite. I told him about the vehicle I was interested in, I also told him the reason I wanted to purchase a SUV that seats 7. Cuba told me they had a lot of SUVs and that we can set up an appointment for tomorrow. I said that is perfect, but before I come down there I want to make sure I won't have any problems of getting approved. Cuba said he would send me the pre approval application, and I can fill it out and it takes about 30 minutes for him to let me know if I was approved or not. He asked me to email my email address to him, in which I did. With 30 minutes I received the link and I than proceeded to fill in the application. Once it was completed, i submitted it and immediately was preapproved. I than was directed to fill in more credit information. Once I was done I submitted it. With 30 minutes I received a text from Cuba letting me know I was pre approved and I can buy a car and scheduled an apt for tomorrow at 9:30 am. I immediately text him back asking him how much I qualified for the down payment amount. I really didn't want to waste his or my time. He told me the only way he can tell me what the payment and down payment would be is after I choose a car. I explained to him I am only interested in the 2015 Dodge Journey that is about 20k, it's blue and has approximately 29k miles. I also explained to him that I have Lupus and I don't want to be at the dealership for several hours to end with a deal we both won't be happy with. He assured me he could help me and honestly he did everything he could. Bottom line is, I got there with my husband and son, we test drove the SUV that I inquired about, we fell in love with it, loved the fact it was fully equipped with leather seats. He than showed us the 2017 model, my son test drove it, but it was nothing comparable to what we originally went tot the dealership 45 minutes away for. We were ready to make a deal. Went back and forth for a few minutes about the monthly payment, we,originally told Cuba that we don't have a down payment but could come up,with it by the 13th. We went back and forth again for a few minutes, and I finally told Cuba that we are getting off track and I was totally honest from the get what I could and could not do, so I think we need to end this here. His manager Blue Jeannie than comes out, and he goes back and forth with me about the monthly payments, which I stayed firm on. He leaves and Cuba comes back and said we have a deal 0 down and the monthly payment amount that we all agreed upon. He wrote up the deal we signed and I provided him with everything that finance requested. The next thing we knew we was asked to hit this big gold gong symbol. I sent my son up to hit it, because it my experience I don't celebrate until I am driving off the lot. We were than told it could take a couple hours to get into Finance and sign paperwork because of them being very busy. I shared with Cuba it was no problem and I understood. After an hour waiting Cuba comes out to us and tells us he has good news, I said oh wow, he said they couldn't finance the 2015 Journey but they could finance the brand new 2017. That was not good news, we were already set on what we wanted. That SUV had everything we needed. I said that won't work, but thank you for your time and we were going to leave. Congratulations to Towbin Dodge for losing a customer. I made an appointment for service on Thursday morning (August 25th). Upon arrival I was told that because they were so backed up it would be Monday or Tuesday before my vehicle would be seen, but to keep my 'place in line' I had to leave it then. If you know you cant see the vehicle until Monday, don't make an appointment for 4 days prior. I finally received a text from my service advisor on Tuesday morning (August 30th) that the technician was beginning the diagnostic. After waiting until Thursday morning (September 1st) with no word from Towbin Dodge, I called and was told the technician was "just finishing up the diagnostic". Three days to run a diagnostic? I had the code and the problem identified by AutoZone in 5 minutes, why does it take Towbin 3 days? At this point I've been without my vehicle for 7 days when I could have dropped it off 5 days after my 'appointment' date, been without it for 2 days and been at the same place I am now. Still waiting for them to get approval from the warranty company to fix the issue, taking bets on how long that will take.
