I have heard a lot of great things about Townhall and finally got to try it, and it did not disappoint! I went on Cinco De Mayo and they had a specialty margarita on the menu that day. I tried the spicy salmon tartare as an appetizer and the grilled cheese and tomato soup for my entrée. Both were delectable! They were playing a wide variety of music to listen to while you dine. The inside is beautifully decorated. They offer a variety of taps, liquors, and cocktails. Let's just say I am already rearing to go back and try some other dishes! What makes TownHall five stars is the large menu full of healthy and diet-specific options. What I mean is that it's not just gluten free because you can switch out bread, but it's a full meal concepted from beginning-to-end as gluten free. Or keto. Or paleo. Or vegan. I love restaurants that have healthy options! So many healthy substitutes like cauliflower rice or Keto friendly options. Such a wide range of food I wanted to try everything! First, the atmosphere was awesome! It was a Monday night and packed. I missed my servers name but she was great. Helped us narrow down everything we wanted, up beat and fun. I started with the beef broth with add ons on jalapeños, chives and a few over thing. Yum! It has lots of health benefits that I had to try it. I was expecting to not be so jam packed with flavor. For my entree I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich (which was Keto style) with a lettuce bun and the side veggies. If you want something lighter get the lettuce bun! Nice and light and did not leave you over dull. I was SO SHOCKED how good the veggies were. Skip the fries and GET THE VEGGIES. So yummy! This is one of the coolest restaurants I have been to! The layout of the restaurant is so different. Dogs are allowed indoors and they even have a custom dog menu! It was St Patrick's day and a friend's Birthday. Our waitress was both beautiful and very accommodating making sure we were happy with birthday desserts and all meals! She was one of the BEST waitresses I have ever experienced. Had pumpkin paleo pancakes which were gluten free and delightful! Grass fed burger was picture perfect on a buttered bun and the bd boy got a free Shamrock shake. Love the organic, non GMO , farm to table theme as well and will come back for sure. read more

I came in for the W 25th Street Chicken & Cinnamon Roll and couldn't find it . That's when manager Adam Heath came into our lives. Columbus culinary scene has been decent for a while now, but this place hopped into a time machine from about 2040 from a much more vibrant European scene and landed straight in Columbus! I had a Poke Bowl (comes with a choice of 4 different grain substitutions like Miracle Noodle, cauliflower rice and others) - the flavors made my taste buds do a dance like they've never done before, a side of Brussel sprouts (addictive, so do yourself a favor and don't try it, else you'll be hooked) and a chicken broth (where has it been my entire life?!? - delish). The vibe is super upbeat, other guests seemed happier than usual and the staff smile, joke around and genuinely want to take care of you, which noticeably unforced. IMPRESSIVE. I don't often write reviews.... but when something so worthwhile, creative, delicious and LIFE CHANGING comes to the Columbus scene... I can't pass up the opportunity to shout from the rooftops! (Which, btw, TownHall will be opening rather soon- I can't wait to see what amazingness that will bring to our lives!) Yeah, I said it. Impressive. Everything about this place is impressive. The Food The presentation The ambiance The staff The ownership The ethos .... all of it. A friend recommended we check it out and he described the food as bar food that's actually GOOD for you. He wasn't wrong, and it's so much more than that. Since TownHall is a restaurant, I'd certainly expect the food to take center stage and it absolutely does- so we'll start there. TownHall has a NON-GMO menu that will please ALL different diets, Vegan, Keto, Paleo, Gluten- Free, etc. And I don't mean just one or two items you can choose from... this is the place I can bring ALL my friends with special diets and we will ALL be pouring over the multitude of scrumptious options. First things first..."Shareables". I don't know what they do to those wings... but I want more of them in my life. lol (actually, I DO know what they do- because TownHall prides itself on transparency... so if you want the recipe, they are STOKED to give it to you so you can enjoy it at home. PS- they Sous Vide these keto-licious morsels before coating them in a gluten-free dry rub that will knock your socks off (don't worry- they aren't spicy, unless you dip them in the rebol hot sauce that comes on the side). But let's talk about the bone broth. This isn't your average soup. Bone broth is the life giving stuff that we need to start talking about. Feeling gross? Under the weather? Gut issues? Feeling the pains of old age - or just that old sports injury? How about tired all the time? BONE BROTH. Seriously- do the research (you won't have to look far at all) this isn't new science, we've been using this and needing this for like... ever. It's about time we have it available to us when we go out to eat. You can keep it simple, you can get creative and make your own bougie broth... or you can go with their tried and true suggestions. Any way you go, you're in for a treat (and your body will thank you). YES. this comes in a paper cup, kinda resembling a coffee to go cup. Bone broth is meant to be drank. (the staff is cool though, so if you want a spoon just ask- no judgement was given.) Bar food, yes please! I love me a BURGER. lol. no but seriously, I love burgers, lol, and this one didn't disappoint. I mean, everything here is fresh so... what can I say. Delish. The highlight for me though, was the truffle fries. Perfectly crispy, great taste and the perfect combo to a bar food favorite. Thirsty? I don't know that I've seen a more interesting, diverse and plentiful drink menu (featuring non-alcoholic and alcoholic options). My wife got the Organic Ginger Turmeric Lemonade. I got a diet coke. (My wife likes all the healthy beverages, but with a burger... c'mon. I want a soda. I'm really glad that it wasn't an off-brand soda, either... it was diet coke. For a place that is marketed as a healthy restaurant, I have to say, I'm REALLY glad that they kept this as an option. After all, "TownHall believes that healthy does not mean perfect.") The bar was well stocked and ready to sling pretty much anything I might want to have, but in true style they have a pretty awesome alcoholic beverage menu that will mix in the goods as well! (I hear the Green Goddess is something to behold!) So yeah, the food is pretty amazing and I can't wait to go back and try pretty much ANYTHING they have on the menu. TownHall goes beyond food though. There's an ethos that permeates everything here. From the original wood/art/tables and other furniture directly from Bali, to the living moss wall and live greenery, to the little nooks created just for those who want to go out but feel close. This place just feels GOOD. I felt an attitude of gratitude at TownHall, and whether you are speaking with a hostess, your server (we had Lauren- she was AWESOME), the bartender, the busser- or even if you get lucky enough to chat with the GM Adam or Owner, Bobby- you'll notice something different. There's a focus on slowing down (even though the service and food was quick), being in the moment and really soaking in life. There's an excitement in the air at TownHall about changing the way we eat and think about food. (If you're interested, they will even GIVE you a copy of the book that started it all for TownHall, "The UNhealthy Truth".) TownHall believes BALANCE is the key to a happy and healthy life. Favorite spot in columbus! Service is always top notch from every staff member. Great atmosphere every time I visit and definitely the best place to watch the buckeyes on Saturdays. Food is phenomenal and the kitchen is open until 2am almost every night. Plus as someone with allergies their menu is extremely accommodating. They also have an extensive rotating beer list that's the best you can find in columbus. Can't say enough good things about this place! read more

She was highly attentive and had a great grasp of the menu. She made some great suggestions and was very attentive to our one kiddo who has food allergies. We started with the cauliflower lettuce wraps which were delicious! Well cooked with just the right amount of spice. My chicken entree was cooked to perfection. What a gem! We tried this place for the first time Tuesday night and we were very pleasantly surprised. Great food and selection for all kinds of dietary restrictions and lifestyles, amazing flavors, and very friendly staff. They even have a menu for your four legged friends, and our boy was very happy with his Brutus Bowl! I had the harvest salad with chicken, wife had the veggie burger on keto bun (tasted like eating a falafel burger!) and we split the sweet potato skins. Finished up with the keto buckeye bites which were exceptional, and I used the Yelp check in benefit for a free organic drop coffee. Literally the BEST coffee I've ever had. By far my most favorite restaurant to eat at! The customer service is amazing and they have the yummiest food. I love that they are health conscious about GMO's and only use organic ingredients. I also love that they are so accommodating to people with allergies or food restrictions and have options for everyone. The dining experience is wonderful, I also love stopping into the cafe just to grab a coffee! It's the perfect spot to eat now that the weather is getting colder, and when the weather is nice we love to sit on the patio! My go to is the harvest salad with salmon, I also love their espresso martinis. They make the espresso fresh in house and it tastes so yummy and fresh! I tried TownHall on July 4th with my husband, son, and in-laws. We started off with the buffalo cauliflower bites, which I was almost afraid to eat, because the looked like they were covered in mustard... but luckily, they weren't, and they tasted good.
