Trackside and/or Crockett's will never have my business again. Came to dine in at Trackside last night with a larger group of 9. Arrived at 9:00 p.m. and placed an order for food within 15 minutes or so. The initial server helping us was very sweet and helpful, and brought drinks and took our orders right away. We ordered 3 large pizzas, one children's pizza, and two salads. We were only one of two groups at the restaurant, so it was not busy at all. Our salads took over 30 minutes to come out and the child's pizza (dough, cheese, and pineapple-not even cooked yet) took even longer. After over an hour of patiently waiting, the server came to our table with only two (one adult, one children's pizza) of our pizzas and told us that the other two were burned in the oven, due to new pizza dough they are using, and they were remaking them. She apologized, and we told her that it was totally fine & we would wait for the next ones. Probably 15 minutes later, the restaurant filled with smoke and we were worried that the next pizzas were burning as well. One of the members of our party went and asked the kitchen staff if everything was okay as we had been waiting almost an hour and a half at this point, we had a child with us, and it was nearing 10:20 p.m. The next time anyone approached our table, it was a "supervisor" from Crocket's bringing us one completely burned pizza. She told us that she had bad news that our other pizza was completely burned. We asked for the pizzas to be removed from our bill as we had waited almost 2 hours and only received one of our adult sized pizzas for 8 adults to share. She said she would not take it off the bill and said that she heard that we were mean to the kitchen staff. Not only did she not apologize for the terrible experience we'd had there so far, she began to insult us and accuse us of being rude. We were completely shocked. She began to take the pizza away that she brought over and a member of our party requested to keep it and she replied, "I'll have to add that back to your bill then". When she brought us the bill, she AGAIN began to talk about how the General Manager of Trackside was in earlier & heard that we were "mean to the kitchen staff", and she "believes them". Our bill still ended up being $140 for the salads, two pizzas, and a couple of beverages we had. She did not offer any way to make the experience right, adjust our bill, or apologize. None of us have ever been treated this way. We were the farthest thing from rude. Her name was Marika. Marika lost Trackside and Crockett's 9 customers for life. I would never return and I would never recommend Trackside or Crockett's to anyone. I completely understand being short staffed and mistakes occurring. Disrespecting paying customers and treating people the way that Marika treated us is completely unacceptable. Very disappointed. read more

Had my kiddo's first birthday party in their Banquet Room. The food was very yummy, and my guests were quite happy with the food choices as we bought eight pizzas to share with everyone. We also had full access of the soda fountain. Our server was nice, but didn't come around too often. This may be their protocol with parties where we get our own soda and serve our own pizzas though. Here's what we ordered: - SPINACH & ARTICHOKE DIP: I'm not sure why their picture and description of this dish includes "pull apart pizza dough" because we received crostini. Super disappointing for $12! The dip itself was ok - everything was way too oily. It probably didn't help that they buttered the crostini's and added a Parmesan crust to the bottom of the dip. So the food is good...when it's made correctly. Their solution to THEM being wrong is subpar. I won't be going back. I'll stick to places that make it right when they make a mistake. The day it happened we din't have time to wait for a new one to be remade and told we don't give cash refunds (because we paid cash). So we took the incorrect pizza. Told that they will credit the account only to find out crediting the account didn't mean replacing the order correctly but to only give a $5 credit. Pretty much equals a 16% coupon. We call back the next day to talk to a manger about the situation and the manager says "We don't give out free pizzas. We've already made our decision." Well as a customer I pay for what I order and that's NOT what I ordered. No thanks. I'll stick to places that have MUCH BETTER customer service. It was so hot in there, unreal, i dont know if the AC wasnt working, but a few people walk in, sat down and couldnt handle the heat and left. We stuck around since we already had placed our order. The pizza was really good, the cheesse was delish, the ambiance (besides the heat)was great, TV was on, backround music was The Doors and that kind of music, yaay, it did took a while for us to get the medium pizza we ordered, but i mean its not a fast food place so no rush. Rarely am I so impressed with a business or restaurant that they earn a five star rating from me! Greeting as we walked in was a genuine smile and friendly welcoming. Sat where i could see the TV to catch the women's Fastpitch World Series on after the NBA finals. Menu was simple but nicely set up with some nice variations to choose from, gluten free dough as well which is a plus. Nice garden salad to start and we ordered the L train pizza. Wow is all i could say when it arrives after not too long of a wait like many pizza places. I regret not taking pictures of it, i always do. Presentation was 5 star, totally appealing to the eye, bright colors from the fresh spinach snd basil, chicken was plentiful, we were ripe without anticipation to taste. We were not disappointed ! Crust was firm and crisp but the dough was light and airy, how they did this I would like to know, wasn't heavy at all. We ended up taking a couple slices home, daughter ate the next day for lunch after a quick nuke in the microwave, she still raved about the next day. I used to love going here--this is the second time I have had issues with Trackside, once in Sumner when they canceled my order with zero explanation and today in Puyallup. Tonight I ordered two pizzas, breadsticks, and a salad for pick up, with tip it came to nearly $90. I was told 45 minutes, I arrive right at 45 minutes, I'm told 10-15 more. Whatever...I sit down and I wait another 20 before they realize no one made the salad. I'm literally waiting for a salad no one is making as the pizza has been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes. No one knew what was going on in that place, they didn't even know what kind of salad I ordered, I had to correct them. The fat manager guy was a total ass with zero customer service skills. Dealing with him was awful: condescending and overtly rude. I'll never go here again. read more

Fantastic place! We had heard so many good things about Trackside, we decided to have our daughter's birthday here! We reserved the banquet room. It was 25.00 and they applied that to your bill at the end! The room fits 40 people and had long tables great for big groups! Lots of unique pizza choices, salads and some great sandwiches! Pizza was amazing!! They messed up by accident on one pizza out of several and noticed before they even got to the table, the waitress immediately put a new one and boxed the wrong one up for us to take home! Didn't even have to ask! My sisters meal came out a little late and they waived their entire bill without asking! So even with a mishap or two, with a group the size we had (about 35 people) those were so minor and they took care of them without asking! We will definitely book more nights like this for family things! I spaced on taking photos of the food we had but I did get some of the room. Trackside Pizza: When you first walk-in pretty cool decal and resto. Brick walls and railroad signs, hence the name of the resto. We went there after a kids bday party at Catapult down the road. I was excited to try this place. It wasn't busy like a couple of customers. We got seated really quick. Ordered a pizza, wings and a kids pizza. Kids pizza , they get to make it themselves and do deliver it to be cooked. Very fun for the kids. The wings tasted like frozen wings, not very good at all. We asked for ranch and they gave us blue cheese. Our waitress was definitely lacking. We told her we wanted ranch and she just says "oh" no apology. We had to ask for napkins and refills. I had to get color crayons for my child. They didn't bring them or even asked. As stated earlier it wasn't busy at all. They had 3 peeps at the 2 registers just staring at or doing something. It was very social with the servers, just not with the customers. The pizza was a little pricey, which is fine if you get quality and good service. Veggie toppings were fresh not really cooked. Very healthy pizza, but the kids pizza tasted better. Overall the pizza was okay, customer service definitely a thumbs down for not being busy at all. It starts with a bed of romaine and includes feta, roasted red peppers, kalamata olives, pepperoncinis, and cucumbers. Ask for it with chicken and you won't be disappointed, it's very well marinated. Stopped in here for dinner with a good friend for the first time. They're doing some remodeling currently but it was still clean. Decor on the inside was rustic with vintage signs on the walls and wooden booths. You really have a view of the trains so it would be fun to take any kids here. We ordered one of their specialty pizzas which was packed full of pepperoni and a heaping amount of garlic, the crust was thin and crispy! Had the large old 97 vegetarian which had Kalamata olives, olive oil, mushrooms, roasted garlic, fresh tomatoes, basil, and cheese. Could not find the mushrooms and almost no tomatoes. Bumpy's was packed and so was Twisted Kilt. Trackside Pizza was open and it didn't look busy. The building rumbled and shook whenever a train passed by which is why the name is so fitting. My friend and I ordered the Italian breaded wings. It was overcooked. Crunchy hard with a burnt flavor. Service was sketchy. My friend asked me for my glass of water because we didn't see a server pass through for a while to refill our glasses. The bigger family tables are the money makers so I'm sure that's where the server's attention went. It is a family oriented restaurant so I can understand. The pizza was good but pretty expensive. Will never eat at Trackside or Crocketts again. A group of us arrived at about 9pm for dinner and were happy to be eating at Trackside for pizza. The servers, younger gals were great to start. There was one other table with customers inside the establishment dining in while we were there. We ordered a total of 3 pizzas. Come 10pm we still hadn't got 1 pizza. We started to SMELL and SEE smoke coming from the kitchen. Come 10:10 we sent one of our friends in the group up to the counter where all of the employees were just hanging out talking and laughing. He jokingly mentioned hey do you guys need help and they responded that no we only have one cook tonight so it's taking a little longer. They also mentioned they were cooking with new dough that keeps burning and getting stuck to the screen. At this time still only one table was in the restaurant and these people ordered to go food which they had had for over 30 minutes. Our friend returned from the counter area and explained what was going on and we just said okay and kept waiting. About 5 minutes later one of our pizzas comes out still burnt all around the crust and the gal says we have bad news the other two pizzas are burnt we're making them again. We were starving so we said okay and started eating the first pizza. No one once harassed her or said anything rude. About 10 minutes goes by a new gal had approached our table who came over from Crockett's, wearing her Crockett's work attire and claimed to be their "supervisor". She never once greeted our table or said hi she dropped the pizza and says you were disrespectful and harassed the kitchen staff so that's why I'm here. We all said whoa please explain how we have been rude we have been sitting here enjoying our company with our friends and patiently waiting as multiple pizzas continue to be burned and no one communicated any of this until we sent someone up to see what was going on. The Crockett's employee continued to harass us at this point and say that the Trackside general manager was up at the counter and witnessed all of our table harassing the staff. If the general manager was present don't you think that as someone who runs the establishment she would have said something if they truly believed they were being harassed? We asked for the GM at this time and the Crocketts supervisor said she left ten minutes prior to? We also asked for the pizza to be taking off of check as it continued to be burnt. The Crockett's "supervisor" Marika said absolutely not you got pizza you're paying for the pizza. The pizza she just dropped at our table was burnt all around the edges as well and we said we don't want this pizza. So she immediately grabs it from the table and said you're not eating any of this pizza if you're not going to pay for it. At this point we ask for the checks. We received 1 pizza out of the 3 we ordered and left the restaurant at 10:45pm. We understand establishments are short staffed and the service industry is tough right now but no one EVER disrespected the staff. We were respectful and waited so patiently to simply eat some pizza that takes probably all of ten minutes to make. WE were disrespected by the staff and we will NEVER return to Trackside or Crocketts and will be sure to let the community know how we were treated. These establishments need to do better with who they put in charge before they no longer have a business running. read more

Went here a couple of days ago, but have been before as well. The first thing one notices as they walk in is the decor, and I have to say that this place did such a good job with all the train signs, place signs, license plates, etc. It's very picturesque. One could very well imagine what old Puyallup must have been like, especially with the train running right in front of the store. But this place isn't just for show, their pizza is pretty good as well (and I appreciate the variety of vegetarian options). I got the Old 97 (pictured below). The dough was hand-made and delicious, and the ingredients were fresh and paired well together. I've eaten probably most of the pizza in the Puyallup area, and I think this place might be the best for this area. None of the pizzas that I have tried so far have been anything but delicious. However, you may notice that I'm not giving it a five star and that is because the service is a bit tepid as far as service goes. Waited for quite some time for the food, and mum said her pasta arrived cold. The parma shaker or pepper shaker isn't provided you have to go up to the counter and ask. And this wouldn't be a problem, but for the price of the pizzas (they are quite spendy), I kind of expect a little bit more service. So, I suppose, if you are looking for great pizza, then this is the place, but if you are on a budget, might try elsewhere. read more

Love it! The kids are happy so that makes me happy. The boys love trains and its got a great window table looking right at the tracks where trains pass through regularly. The staff is really friendly and always walk the boys up to the counter where they hand deliver the pizza that they put together at the table. They have a great all you can eat lunch special and different deals on different nights of the week. There is street parking that can he tricky to get a spot at different times of the day. The lot can be accessed on an off road which makes it difficult if your not from around here. Overall, its a top notch spot for pizza in Puyallup. read more
