I have been going to Tracy's nail shop get my eyelashes done for approximately 15 years. The for the eyelashes are usually great however the customer service is horrible today. Especially when Tia is not there but Nikki the lash tech is the very worst. I went in 12:30 today to get my lashes done. It was a was one and I waited 45 minutes or more before she tells me to come back tomorrow. She's booked for the rest of the day ALL DAY! She has an appointments scheduled at 3pm ( it's a little after 1pm) and she has no more available time to do my lashes. At that time she had 1 client in her station she been working with and "NO ONE else" in the shop waiting or other-clients in the 49 minutes that I had been waiting. when I told her that tomorrow I am very busy preparing to going away on a trip And I work so I couldn't come back. I went yesterday to get my eyebrows waxed felt a sting during and I did not realize later my that my skin under my eyebrow was burned, when I called to cancel my following appointment for my lashes because of that, I told the lady on the phone that I also was calling to inform you that my skin was burned by the wax and it wasn't cooled before applying, and did not even get an apology she was only concern with who I was canceling my lashes with. I like the lashes but they charged too much. I came here because my coworker gets 50$ sets. I called to check before I came and they said it starts at 30$. They charged me 80$ and she said it takes more attention. It took a hour and a half and the girl that came in at the same time as me was still getting hers done when I left. Came here for a pedicure the first time and things went great so I gave it a second chance and received a different nail tech and the lady who did my toes rushed it at what felt like less than 10 minutes not even fulfilling the full pedicure treatment on their menu. she didn't even scrub my feet, only rubbed a hot towel on my legs and did a poor job painting my nail too, I also paid extra for gel. All this because some customers walked in when there were several other nail techs available, so they weren't even short staff. I understand you don't want to keep customers waiting but if someone paid good money for their service I don't think it's fair to cut them short as well. I wish I knew her name but unfortunately I didn't think to ask because I didn't know she was going to rush me out of my seat. This is one of the nastiest nail salons in Sacramento. I'm the first one in and the sink is dirty. There's a dark nasty film all over it. The handle to turn on the water is sticky and full of caked on dirt. The trash can by the stink is nasty. The floor looks like it ain't been mopped since they opened. The nails lumpy and the powder uneven. Just don't waste your time unless you're State Board and ready to write citations. read more

Gets the job done. . When I need a pedicure because my other place is busy or closed. This is right next to my salon so I come here after done with haircut. . The pedicure I have done a fancy one which is there top price one. It was ok not the best so I just get the basic one now. . With the basic one not the 23 but the 28. So I understood with basic 23 and above basic for 28, your paying for the masque for the calves. The masque gives a cool refreshing feeling for tired legs. The masque also is nice to get rid of the dead skins too. . They basically get your foot taken care of if you have ingrown nails. After pedicure it comes with a color basic. If you want gel color its extra. . Overall clean the foot, got the ingrown nails taken care of, got the toes colored. However keep in mind the foot massage was a foot rub only no power just basically massage in the lotion into it. Which I don't expect much since its a basic pedi, but its kind of saying well basic pedi basic massage. read more

You guys, please please please just find another shop. I'm not usually this mad nor post many negative reviews, but I think it's important for you all to know. I did a walk-in and asked to get my acrylic nails removed. That's all. Another lady came up and I sat in her booth. She told me $10 for removal, file, buff. Sure. I didn't mind. I just wanted my nails to be removed. While she was starting to remove my nails, she first used the machine to help buff(?) down the acrylic. Then she grabbed another fake nail to push it underneath my acrylic to peel it off. I told her the acrylic was on my REAL NAILS. She replied, "yeah yeah." SHE LITERALLY PEELED MY FREAKING ACRYLIC NAILS OFF! I mean, I'm not someone who knows how to take off acrylic, but I know this was NOT a proper way of taking off acrylic nails. I am PISSED! She also charged me $11.00 instead of $10. I didn't say anything because I just wanted to leave... go home... and fix my nails that she f*cked up. NEVER AM I EVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN! Hell no!!! Don't do this to yourself!!! Tracy and her staff are very unsanitary!! In three years I have never smelled this place smell like any type of cleaner at all. I have seen leftover dead skin at the foot spa and watched them place someone there to do their toes next! It actually happened to me. Because I loved my lashes that Sandy and Annie used to create, I would only let them paint my toes if it was a dire emergency!! They use the same dirty, over washed, color been gone, sheets on the eyelash beds and don't change them in between guests. Did I mention, I have never seen them clean the tweezers they use to apply the lashes. As a matter of fact, the health department should close this place down. They run through staff like tissue paper.... a true testament to the owner's ability to manage and her disrespectful attitude. After three years of loyalty to this place regardless of the unsanitary conditions, I tried to pay via my wife's credit card she refused to take my payment. I advised her that I needed to go get the cash then. Why? Why did this unprofessional trash run outside and request that I leave something there instead! Most amazing nail experience ever. First off yelp says they close at 7 but the lady told me sometimes they're there until 8 or 9 because they get so busy. Anyways when I called the lady was so nice to me and said come on in. So I got there and I was started on right away. I got tips with gel polish and a bow and it was so quick and simple. My nails look great and the process was amazing. The lady talked to me the whole time and was patient while I made the dreaded gel nail color decision. She received gel polish and when her process was finished, the gel was coming off the nails at the cuticle and the fingers. She raised the concern and was told to come back. Upon return on Monday, she was treated nasty by the manager after waiting in the car for 45 minutes for service. I don't recommend this shop. Everyone should be treated with respect. I went here to get eyelash extensions and a pedicure. Tracy was eating what looked like a croissant and proceeded to wipe her hands on her clothes. She then started to do my lashes and I asked her to wash her hands before she put them in my face. She washed them and came back. She glued the outer corners of my bottom lashes to the eyelash extensions on the TOP of my eye because she did not adequately cover them with a strip. She then cut them (my bottom corner lashes) off to separate them. I didn't realize my bottom lashes were cut until i got home. smh. The old man who did my pedicure did an ok job. The lady who did my daughter's manicure did a poor job. She cut too much of my child's skin off and it hurt. And she did a bad job on the nail polish. I seriously wonder if any of these people are even licensed. I do like how my eyelash extensions look but my bottom lashes are gone in the outer corners of my eyes. Brought my 2 friends with me to Tracy's nail because I like how they did my nails before. We get there and it was somewhat busy, a lot of people getting eyelash extensions. We wait about 15 minutes before we get seated. They take my 2 friends and sit them on the other side of the salon from me. It was my birthday and we told Tracy we wished to be seated together. Oh well no big deal, I ask for a French manicure and everything seems to go fine until the guy who was working on me gets to the part where he files them. He filed my skin open on my fore finger. I was trying to pull my hand away and was grimacing until he finally let go. He saw I was bleeding, covered it with his paper towel, and said OWWW. He finished the rest of my hand and told me to wash my hands and pay. After that he put on clear polish and told me I was done. I wanted a design but he never offered. It was $29 for a basic French manicure and he cut my finger. Now onto my friends which turned into a nightmare. She has bumps on her tips from the acrylic not being smoothed out, there was paint that had chipped because it wasn't dry by the time they told her she was done and to move so the next person could sit. We asked the lady to fix it and all she did was repaint the nail. Didn't even try to fix the bumps. After she finished we look at the nails and they look the same, so we tell her kindly again that my friend was going wait to pay until they fix it. The older lady, who did her nails, then approached us mad with nail clippers saying you don't pay then I take off. At that point we stopped being nice and explained she could take them off because all we said was we wanted to wait until she finished her customer so she could fix it. She grabs my friends hand with the clippers and my friend has to snatch her hand away. At that point Tracy comes out and asks what the problem is and we tell her we no longer want the nails and if she could take them off. She tells us she can fix it but my friend was frustrated and we talked it out with Tracy. Eventually we decide to have Tracy fix them, she took her time and she fixes the nails. We thank her and they pay so we can leave. If it wasn't for Tracy's professionalism we would've have them remove the nails and leave. It was very unprofessional for the lady to approach us with nail clippers simply because we asked for the nails to be fixed. I will never return here even though this was my go-to spot for nails. My friends will never return, I wanted them to try Tracy's out because I loved it and it turned into a nightmare. read more
