I used to love coming to this place and it was the only one I'd go to but I think this was the last time I'm coming back. I got a mani/pedi with gel on Friday afternoon, the service was ok and the communication between the nail techs and I were ok. They seemed bothered by my choice of the service I picked but I brushed that off. The nail tech that did my manicure was good and didn't have much of a problem there; however, my nail tech for the pedicure was not great. I noticed about half way through my big toes were hurting and when she sprayed some stuff on them, they started to burn. I brushed it off thinking maybe it was a small little knick in the skin and let it go. However, when I got home and after letting them rest for a day, I look down and my big toes have been completely cut up by the nail file...it felt rushed and the paint job is ok if you don't look up close. If you do, then you'll see patchiness like not enough coats were done. I'm just disappointed because this used to be my favorite place. read more

First time trying this place out and all I can say is WOW, I am so thankful I gave them a chance. The place I had been going to before was good, but not perfect, but I settled. I settled, because it was convenient for me being only a block from my house. Lately though I had been thinking that if I am spending the money, I should be 100% happy with my nails. So I took a chance with Tracy's nails. Yes, they are 4-5 miles from my house and in SCV that is a 15 minute drive , but it is SO WORTH IT. Dianna did my nails yesterday and they are the BEST I have ever had. I left there booking my next appointment and with the biggest smile on my face. I know they are only nails, but they are my perfect nails. As for the salon itself....they are super friendly, funny J and it is very clean. I just came back from my very 1st appointment and have to say I'm extremely pleased with my nails! I just moved to the area and am sadly too far from my original nail lady who I've been loyal to for several years *cry*. I've been in search of a new nail salon in the area, but the first one I went to severely butchered the polish application and made my cuticles bleed, so the search continued. My yelp account is bookmarked with 10+ nail salons and I was planning to go down the line in hopes of finding a decent one. Luckily I think the search is over! I had an appointment with Julie today ... not a single bloody cuticle and my nail polish looks fantastic! I don't think that's too much to ask for, but harder to find than you might think. Avoid this place at all cost. First, we booked an appt online. When we went to confirm, no appt was on the book. The shop said it hasn't checked it's online appts in a couple of months. Then, we were schedule for 2 gel manicures. My friend and I were sitting side by side and explained to the tech what we wanted. When the second tech came to do my nails, she said nothing, ask nothing, and just went to town on my fingers. I don't even know her name. She is the blond Asian with the A line haircut. Customer service was no where to be found at this establishment. Don't expect a friendly face. Apparently she had no clue what I wanted and became bothered when she was informed about the service I requested. Needless to say, she nipped the hell out of my fingers; even causing me to bleed. She wiped my blood with her bare hands. Who does that? Clearly safety and sanitation is not the focus. My fingers have never been so sore from a manicure in my life. I will never go back and will advise all my contacts to do the same. read more

Crystal answered the phone, gave me several options and greeted me upon arrival. She is pleasant and efficient as I was able to observe during my appointment. I was assigned Susan who was very pleasant and efficient as well. I'm a no frills pedicure - just trim, file, shine, exfoliate, moisturize feeties and I'm a happy camper. Susan did a great job and when I'm in town again, I will visit and schedule an appointment with her. If you're looking for a regular place to go or are just visiting, I would recommend a visit here! I went in for a gel manicure and they literally didn't even last 2 days. An older lady that did them didn't clean my nail like other salons do. They were chipping on the 2 day and it's not even a week I've had then and it look like if I had them for over 2 weeks. Doesn't even look like a gel manicure. Horrible job! I really wanted to like this place since it was recommended by a friend. I treated my mom and I for our birthdays on the 4th. (This review is a little late I kept forgetting) We both got full sets. My moms tech seemed to do a good job but her polish started chipping after a week! I've never had that happen so soon. They also didn't add lotion or oil after they finished the service for either of us. Now to my nails.. I asked for square and they turned out more round square, I wasn't going to make a fuss about it. The biggest problem is after a WEEK my acrylics started living!!! I have never had this happen at any salon. Now it's been 10 days and now 5 of my nails are about to pop off!! I wasted my money and basically paid double because now I am going to go somewhere else to have them fix them. I'm not sure if my tech skipped a set for securing my nails but I'm so disappointed. I got a gel manicure here 2 times and was disappointed both times. The first time the gel chipped within a few days. The second time the man that did my nails took forever and did a sloppy job. I wasn't very impressed by my pedicure. The woman who did it did an okay job, but she seemed rushed - and I was their only midday customer. Very quick massage. I appreciate when they take their time to make it feel good. My toes look nice, and I really like their massage chairs. . Though it was about 5 minutes into the pedicure when I remembered that I was sitting in a massage chair. Usually, they hand you the remote. So, not so impressed for $22. read more

I have been seeing Kim at this location for almost 1 1/2 years. I started going there because of all the good reviews they had on yelp. I am now getting the chance to right a review about her. Last July I got really sick and was in the hospital most of the summer. I had a friend call Kim to see if she was willing to come to the hospital to do a mani/pedi on me. I was so excited when Kim showed up the next day to do my nails in the ICU. Kim does an amazing job and once in a while someone else at the shop will do my nails as well. first time going to Tracy's i usually go to laque but they're always booked a month in advance, so after hearing great reviews about Jade i decided to try it out only to find out jade no longer works there. the receptionist was very helpful in picking a tech who would do my stiletto nails, she booked me an appointment with Diana and couldn't be happier with my nails, she took her time to shape my nails perfectly to a point. most tech out here don't get that if i cant gouge someone's eyes out thy're aren't sharp enough! she got them just right and was the sweetest thing! definitely will be going back! read more

I got there and they had me waiting for over 20 minutes before I just left. They never acknowledged me once although I had an appointment and I was sitting there. Came in for a pedicure and dip gel. Julie did my pedicure and Becky did my nails. Both were terrific. Very thorough and detailed. I felt like both took care to ensure my nails were perfect and that I was comfortable. Everyone seemed very friendly. The salon was busy, but they accommodated every walk-in while I was there and they seemed properly staffed to handle it all. I made an appt using yelp and the salon responded within 5 minutes and accepted the exact time I wanted to come in. Very happy with the service and will definitely be back. read more

This is my second time coming here and hoping I will keep coming but unfortunately it was horrible. I came for a chrome pedicure. First I will not mention her name but if the owner will contact me i will. I chose a chrome color from their list as they claimed a chrome. When she applied the base color the chrome didn't sit in well and has to remove the whole gel on my toes. The second time , she applied just the claimed chrome she was saying and the color was not even close to the sample. I asked if how come they don't use the powder for chrome and she replied that the one she placed was the new one and the powder is old. I was not happy and she saw it and told me I can only just pay $41 instead of $46. I went home and couldn't stand the color. Sun shine on my toes and the color was so matte and not shiny at all. I called the other salon where I usually go to change the Polish finding out that I have still my cuticles and was not really cleaned up with the pedicure. And worse the Polish the lady put on toes was not a chrome Polish which really suspected me it's not chrome. I ended up doing another pedicure and repeat the whole process. I am so disappointed. I should have my money back. read more
