Precious brussel sprouts. Perfect size too. Not too much and not too tiny of an amount. Plus, this batch is so beautiful.

What turned out to be a poor customer service experience transformed into an excellent customer service experience. I went along and purchased my regular groceries in this clean and tidy store. Meal options are always diverse. Love it. Had a highly dissatisfied experience at the cash register. Had a moment to debrief with Mike and I appreciated how we saw eye to eye. Treat people how you would like to be treated. There's a special way to "dance" in customer service whether it be in grocery stores or at restaurants. Generationally I think young adults are at a disadvantage in terms of having a prosperous opportunity to learn proper etiquette when they're little... seeing the full cycle now is terrifying. But Mike, you made my day. Forever loyal to your store. Thank you for understanding where I came from and was as polite as I could be today regarding the situation. I love Trader Joe's Westlake. Parking is a nightmare but I'll come just to give you business.

Love it! Love TJs!!

I love this TJ! They have superb customer service! Always friendly and approachable esp during the canvas tote bag hype! And everything else that comes with it! Congrats for being so nice and service with a smile! Woot!!

Pink succulent $6!

TJ is always a fun place to browse even if you don't need anything. Chances are i always need something. Just maybe I don't realize it till I get home and forgot an ingredient for my recipe. Floral section right when you walk in is wonderful, so much selection! Greeneries, flowers, roses, fillers, special seasonal plants or giftables. Flowers are always an easy gift if you need to pick up something quick Parking lot is annoying. Too congested

$95.85 a week of meals including Thanksgiving- Thanks to Trader Joe's. The were well stocked today and no long lines!

GREAT ice cream, granola, yogurt, large chocolate bars (at reasonable prices)... and so much more. TJ has so much to offer, and they have tastes of seasonal or new items. Lots of well-prepared food ( salads, roll-ups, rice / noodle bowls) big variety. Frozen foods, meals too. Golden pineapple- beautiful, tasty Cheese & Wine- many kinds, and special varieties from all over the world - great prices$$ Fun to shop here. Not a Mega-store but carries everything you NEED for a smaller layout. Pick up their Newsletter, which is full of fun and food information. We love the peppermint toothpaste and little potted plants - cute!

Love my local TJ's, friendly staff, clean, well stocked store. I always find something new to try. Love their unique items like tika masala and shawarma bowls.

Soo waiting for Costco to have these, oh well Tj's it is!!

I come to this particular location because it's sooo convenient & the staff here are pleasantly chill. It's been awhile since I've been to TJs so I sooo needed to stock up on goodies. Spotted some new snacks such as kettle corn drizzled w/choc w/freeze dried strawberries. Get some regular stuff as well but found out some items were discontinued. BooHoo! Anyways next visit there'll be bound for something new to try. Until then, I got my goodies to eat.

Trader Joe's Daly City - Egg Omelets

I prefer coming to this Trader Joe's location in Daly City even though it is farther than the South San Francisco location. The parking here is more plentiful and easier to navigate. And the inside of this store is larger and more spacious. There is also something about their product placement / displays that make me notice new items (to me) that I just don't see at the Sunnyvale location I usually go to. The only odd thing is how they have separated the "bagged" salads from the "boxed" salads; they aren't even in adjacent refrigerated sections. There is a restroom at the back left corner of the store.

Ask the Community - Trader Joe's

Does this location have the weekly raffle for a $25 TJ's gift card for spending $25+ and bringing in your own bags? Or knocks off $0.05 for every bag you bring?

No for both. I've never asked directly, but it seems like they stopped doing it for a few years already. A bummer, really.

Is there special hours/entrance for healthcare workers?

Not anymore.

Can adults play FIND THE TIKI as well?

No. Kids only

Well, the 2nd nearest because another TJs open in Stonestown but I actually prefer going to this one than the Stonestown one.

this Safeway location is one of my goto shopping destinations…read more The Deli does a good job cooking Chicken though I only buy it if served by the staff. Store is a decent size resulting in most items being stocked, it's clean / comfortable, has ample parking, as always use the mobile application to lock in special pricing, and to qualify for rewards. my reason for this update / posting. i was absentminded and left a large insulated shopping bag that I have been using for several years in a shopping cart. upon returning home I realized that the bag was not with me so called the store. The Safeway customer service person advised me that my bag, and contents were at the front desk, and I could come back to retrieve the bag and replace the perishable items which was done later that day.

I visit this store almost everyday. Before work, I come here for either a sandwich or chicken…read moretenders. Sometimes donuts for my coworkers. I always order a coffee from Starbucks. My only issue is that sometimes I am waiting a long time to have a sandwich made. I get it, people are working in the back, but it would be nice if at least one employee is assisting customers. Other than that, I have no problems. I may have a conversation with the Starbucks employees, they're always friendly. I saw an odd situation last week. A young man walked out with a duffle bag full of items they took, not paying. The security guard was next to the entrance doors and did nothing. Just kept looking down at his phone. Then right after, a woman carrying a large bag did the exact same. Employees were talking to each other about both situations. Why is security there, if that's the case. Anyway, every time I visit the store, they always have what I need. And the employees are friendly to me. The store is relatively large and welcoming, the parking lot is large enough for the amount of people visiting. I recommend using the restroom at home or somewhere else. Every time I have gone in there, it's never clean. I sanitize my hands thoroughly when I walk out the restroom door.

Good prices and I just love th seafood area. Affordable fish and seafood to cook. Staff is reasonable and somewhat helpful but what do you expect at supermarket. Overall, it's generally clean even though the crowd is pretty dirty. Given that, I do feel that they make an effort to upkeep this place. Often crowded and parking is savage but all good. All you need is patience. Everyone's a savage for rating this so low, what do you expect from a supermarket.

**REVIEW FOR NEW HMART EXTENSION**…read more My sister and I finally stopped by the new H Mart extension (the space that used to be 24 Hour Fitness), and it was such a smart way to expand the store. We were a little confused at first about how to get there, but all you have to do is enter through the food court and make a right! Daeho is now much bigger and located inside the new extension. Its old spot in the food court has been taken over by new restaurants, and I believe one of them is a rice cake (tteokbokki) spot that looks really promising. Past Daeho is a stationery and merchandise store. It was major eye candy, but wow... expensive. Even simple items like hair clips and pens started around $10, and most things seemed to be in the $15-20 range, minimum lol... If you take the escalator to the left of the stationery store, you'll find a whole downstairs area! It has several photobooth stations in the back ($10), tons of gachapon (capsule toy) machines that gave me major Japan vibes, what looked like a kitchen appliance store, and an extension of the grocery market. Honestly, the grocery selection downstairs wasn't much different from what you can already find upstairs, so I preferred shopping on the main floor. That said, there was definitely a larger selection of kitchenware downstairs. My sister and I were SO excited to see the photobooth area! It was honestly pretty clean, super cute, and had so many frame designs to choose from. It's $10 for two photo strips, and you can scan the QR code printed on them to download the digital copies to your phone. My only gripe is that there wasn't anywhere to put the photobooth props while taking pictures. We ended up putting our bag on the floor and tossing everything in there between shots. It would be nice if each booth had a small shelf or table for the props. Also... I'm very curious whether they sanitize the props between uses.... Overall, the new H Mart extension is pretty cool and fun.
